2 ICE SOUL

The Little spark gave its all to resist the "something" that tried to invade its small consciousness. Eventually its resistance collapsed and the "something" invaded inside Little spark's consciousness. Immediately Little spark couldn't "sense" its surroundings anymore and was still stuck inside the fluid.

Since it couldn't "sense" its surroundings, it was no different than being confined in a dark room.

The Little spark immediately got more scared since it was the first time its birth that it couldn't "sense" anything around it but since it couldn't move anyway it slowly reigned in its fears.

The "something" which had entered its consciousness, remained there quietly. Soon the tensed little spark relaxed and felt relieved that nothing drastic had occurred but soon it realised how wrong it was. After a couple of moments the "something" immediately started moving vigorously inside its consciousness, immediately little spark started to "hurt" a lot. It was a very painful sensation which it had felt for the first time since its birth and it kept on hurting it continuously.

This continuous amounts of pain almost led to Little spark being faded out of existence but whenever the pain was reaching a certain threshold or a critical point where the consciousness couldn't take it anymore and was about the burst into nothingness, The "something" stopped moving about inside the Little spark's consciousness and this gave its consciousness some time to rest but this rest only lasted for a moment before the "something" once again resumed with its assault.

Although this prevented the little spark from disappearing for good, to the Little spark it was no different than a repeating torture-cycle which would never end.

Although the Little spark was only born recently but the amount of pain it felt due to this "something" made it wish that it was not born because this "something" gave him pain and a moment of relief and then pain again. This was truly a torture-cycle and it continued for a very long time and since the Little spark had no knowledge about the concept of time , to it this torture was going on for almost forever.

Then there once came a time when this torture-cycle finally came to its ultimate end. It seemed as if the "something" had finally ran out of energy and it slowly merged with the Little spark's consciousness altogether.

The Little spark who had been through continuous suffering for almost forever and had been confined to one place didn't notice this change because the continuous "wear-and-tear" of its consciousness had finally come to an end. It decided to just lay there to rest and recover from its long-term fatigue.

As the pain completely resided away, Little spark realised that the "something" had completely disappeared from its consciousness, as if it had never existed there in the first place.

It felt so much "joy", a sensation which it had never felt so strongly before. It was a sensation of being able to come out "alive", a feeling of still staying in existence, as he managed to avoid having his consciousness wiped out.

At the moment when the Little spark was at peak of its "joy", there was some rumbling in its consciousness and suddenly in a moment, its consciousness rapidly expanded and encompassed all of its surroundings !

The Little spark could no longer just "sense" but also "see" its surroundings. As its consciousness rapidly improved, The Little spark also underwent some transformation and from being a small white Little spark which looked like a small bug it turned to look like a fist-sized white burning ice-flame which seemed to be of unspeakable intensity as it contained vast amounts of consciousness held within.

The Little ice flame was overjoyed at this massive change. It felt as if those painful tortures were only a distant memory and completely worth it.

It felt that its intelligence had also vastly improved along with its consciousness and with the increase in its intelligence, it felt that the consciousness and intelligence that it possessed before were truly too miniscule compared to what it had now.

The little ice flame looked around in its surroundings and found out that the fluid inside the hole which it was immersed in had disappeared completely. Although that "something" had given it a lot of pain, nevertheless it was thankful to it because it brought about drastic amazing changes in it.

And seeing that the "something" had made its disappearance along with the white milk-like fluid which was originally present inside the hole, the little ice flame immediately concluded that they were one and the same!

The "something" was actually the white milk-like fluid the whole time.

Upon coming to this conclusion, the little ice flame felt kind of "smug", a sensation as if he had seen through the unknowns completely and everything was under its control.

At the same time it also felt "proud", a sensation that made it very content with itself, this was due to its vastly superior intelligence that it had now.

The Little ice flame flew out from the hole and suspended itself above the ground as it looked at the surrounding ice casing.

When the Little ice flame's consciousness and intelligence had a massive leap, it had got itself some "abilities" which it wanted to try out. These "abilities" to the little ice flame felt as if a long-forgotten memory was remembered back again and as such the Little flame had grasped them completely without even trying them out.

But right now it was excited and couldn't wait to try it out.
