7 Chapter 7

Hearing the spell's proclamation, Ariel felt a warm, Empowering energy spread from his chest to his whole body. Nourishing and revitalising it. Awakening something within his chest in the process. Something that was in a deep sleep. Only waking up in response to the energy. That already reached every muscle, Bone and nerve of his body.

*Throb! Throb!*

An audible throbbing sensation racked Ariel's heart, Bringing with it even more and more energy to fully override his bodie's metabolism, To the point that his vision was obscured by a blindingly whitish light.

The light, Like a protective parent formed a cocoon of pure light, Swallowing Ariel's whole body in the midst of the process.

All Ariel felt before losing consciousness, Was a warm soothing flow of energy slithering into his body like a tide of raging waters, or more specifically. It felt like a very comforting warm hug, That when it enveloped him. Caused him to release his tensions with a satisfied smile.

Blinking my eyes open, I gazed at the shimmering void full of stars and phenomena. My gaze full of satisfaction and bliss, Before I stood up to stretch my upgraded body. Getting some satisfying pops in response.

I could feel it. The strength, The vitality, The untapped energy running and nourishing my body, Like a raging volcano. Waiting for the right moment to erupt into god knows what.

My hair also felt weird to the touch. It was slightly sharp and had metallic characteristics. And due to its new improvements, My black hair had a lustrous texture to it that made it more attention seeking. And to put the nail in the coffin. It stood ramrod straight, Giving me a wild appearance.

'I wonder how strong have I gotten? I feel like I could take on any dreamer with ease. Hell, I bet I could take on most if not all of the awakened. Unless someone like sunny or nephis. Who, Just like me have divine ranked aspects. Oh, There's also mordred but I don't have to worry about that fucker right now.'

I was brought out of my thoughts by something very important to me from now on. Something that will be with me for eternity.

The Soul sea.

There it was. At the periphery of my astonishing vision, I could see it. I could feel it calling for me. Welcoming me and urging me to look into it.

And I did just that. I set my full focus on it... And immediately appeared at a bright island where there was only water. Blindingly white water. That radiated a very comforting energy.

'Just like what I felt before…'

I looked around in wonder and awe. Implanting this moment in my memory forever. Before tracing my gaze towards the sky. Where the energy was at its highest…. And I froze.

'I wondered when it would come into play. But this makes sense.'

There. In the sky was the one and only. Wheel of dharma.

Its eight wooden yellow handles stood out the most. While the rest of its design was the same as in the anime. But this time it was dotting out the whole sky of my soul sea.

And in the very Center was Two bundles of golden weaves, Floating peacefully. Immersed in the vast amount of essence of the wheel.

'That's my memories.'

Memories are with you forever, Unless you break them. Or give them to another person. They will always be there. If a memory is damaged in a battle. It can heal in your soul sea when un-summoned. That is if you don't let it break in one hit.

Shaking my head off these thoughts. I turned my attention towards the second most noticeable thing in this empty space.

It was Mahoraga. In the flesh. Sitting right under the wheel of dharma. Its form was statuesque in the white shining sea. With its usual perpetual grin. But the problem was that it was…..

'Holy shit it's Gigantic!'

With the wheel above its head, And its tall, Sky rending figure. Mahoraga painted a mysterious. Horrifying picture.

I then heard the spell speak again…

[Awakening aspect ability…..]

'Here we go. Another boon to add to my already broken reserves.'

I summered my status hurriedly. Excited and expectant for this new ability…..

'I knew I would have to go down a different path than normal awakend, it's even different than Sunny's and nephis's. Well I guess that's better for me. Cause the more your aspect distanced away from the normal progression route the more unique it is.'

I continued looking, Hoping to notice something different...

I sighed in amazement, My excitement shining on my face.

'Huh? I thought it was divine…. Well whatever. More for me.'

'Ohhhhhhh, now this is what you would call a trump card. I have to use this carefully and decisively.'

Before I could continue thinking. The spell once again broke my thought process…

I furrowed my brows at the notifications that kept ringing out. Without ever stopping.

But suddenly. The noise stopped abruptly. Before continuing with an eerie voice unlike the one it used.

[congratulations! Dreamer. You have no flaw.]

The tone it used. Sent shivers down my spine. It was as if a predator found an interesting new toy to play with.

I ignored the shivers running through me. Instead focusing on the runes describing my true name…..

Reading the description. I was once again astonished. And didn't know what to feel.

'Fuck ye—'

[Wake up! Honoured one.]

My vision spun and the void full of stars twisted on itself before disappearing in a snap.

Ariel opened his eyes in a blur. Looking up into the metal armoured ceiling in a daze. Soon, Recognition shone in his eyes as he burst out of the restraints that were meant to hold him Without effort.

"I'm back… I'm finally back from that shithole!" Ariel's muttering quickly turned into a shout as he smiled in relief.

"Ah, it seems you have awoken flower boy."

A teasing voice cut my celebration short. The source was a short black haired woman, With a lith, delectable body. That. Unfortunately was covered by clothes that accentuated her figure even more. Her blue similar eyes held an amused glint along with her teasing smile that caused me to blink in response.

"Flower boy? And who are you?"

I questioned. Making direct eye contact with her.

For a few seconds, There was an unknown tension between us. Before it popped when her smile turned generous and she began to introduce herself…

"Nice to meet ya. I'm Master jet. I'm here on observation duty. Y'know, In case you didn't make it out....."

'Wait this is jet!? She is way more beautiful than how she was described in the novel. Well I guess people really do have a grow up when they finish their second nightmare. But it is way more undermined in the novel.'

'I really should be respectful.'

"I see. Nice to meet you ma'am. My name is Ariel."

She squinted her eyes. While looking me up and down. Saying "I know your name kid. I've been gaurding you…..well guarding others from you. And just call me jet. You make it sound like I'm an old woman."

I nodded with a smile. Acknowledging her words into my mind. While questioning her about my situation, And how long I was asleep for.

"You have been asleep for a month. I wonder what kind shithole you ended up in for you to take that long. There was a kid that finished his just a few days ago. He too. Was from the outskirts. Quite a coincidence don't ya think?"

I didn't say anything other than nodding my head calmly as a reply. Prompting her to grin "I guess we outskirt rats, Have a deep connection. To make us meet like this."

I pretended to narrow my eyes, Once again asking out "you're from the outskirts too?".

Her grin widened in response. And that was all that I could get for an answer before she turned serious a second later….

"Sleeper Ariel, Now that you have passed your first trial. What do you intend to do?"

Being somewhat surprised. I. As well turned solemn, Responding to her like a soldier would to their colonel "That's what I'm hoping you would give me an answer to. Master jet. I'm lost and have no idea what to do."

Jet's expression turned soft as a beautiful smile spread across her face "Don't worry that's why I'm here. We outskirt rats have to look out for each other."

She then continued with a stern face "now go shower. You reek of nightmare. Ugh!"

She shooed me away. Giving me to an officer standing by. The officer nodded his head. Gesturing for me to follow him.

I walked along with an expectant smile on my face 'I met one of my favourite characters in the novel! Ah I'm so very looking forward to the future...'
