1 Hugvy's Hammer

Year 21XX...

The world they now live in changes drastically many things have gone or change, names of a different nation were also changed, right now the things that were mention in some stories in fantasy has actually existed, humanity receives an unknown power, and they called it a 'Gift' and humanity put them in rank called common, uncommon, rare, unique and legendary.

Humanity receives the power to wield and handle different elements of fire, water, earth, wind, etc. That is if you are a 'Mage' an uncommon 'Gift' where the 'Network Property' called it a [JOB], 'Network Property' was also created and invented by people who got a [JOB] called 'Appraisal' it also belongs to an uncommon job because many things that exist in the world are unknown and only the 'Appraisal' job can identify it.

Of course, their power is also limited because [JOB] has a level, and they can only appraise a limited amount of items according to their level. Many different [JOB] pop out in every corner of the planet, every single human has a job of their own, but not everyone can receive a job they want.

Similar to a person who wants to have a job related to sword-wielding but instead, he receives a job called 'Farming' he still can hold and wield a sword, but he will never get a skill related to that even if they try to learn a skill outside their job they will receive a penalty, their current job level will decrease by 1 if they tried to do so again the level will decrease by 2, and so on.

If they keep violating the rules and keep receiving penalty they will become [JOBLESS] permanently, and being a [JOBLESS] will be the end of you since who will hire someone with a job called [JOBLESS]? [JOB] became important since they have a skill that can raise the efficiency of their work.

It's been 150 years since they receive this power, and they still don't know why and how they gain it, but after the human race receive this power, different types of monster appear out of nowhere around the world, they were faster, stronger, smarter, the animals that earth have seems like a child in front of this monster they can tear metals by half in a matter of seconds, they can jump 3 stories high.

It became a war between Human and Beast they fought this monster for many years and finally regain the peace they have and build a city, of course, many monsters still exist, but some human also became stronger as they master their own powers and kill every single monster that they're up against.

Somewhere in the alley of 'Zhegas City' where an old rugged house with a sign called 'Hugvy's Hammer' can be spotted, a loud hammering sound can be heard, but you can find that it has a rhythmic sound of it and it's pleasant.

Katz a 17-year-old kid doing his [JOB] called 'Blacksmith', the building he currently stays came from his deceased parents, his father was also a 'Blacksmith' and her mother was a 'Tailor' both are common job, but they live happily while selling some production item they created.

Katz was 15 years-old when a breakout in the city happened, It occasionally happened in every city where a wave of monster suddenly invades and unfortunately, the monster broke through the wall near them, his mother manages to quickly let Katz hide in the bunker in the building, but the bunker can only hold one person.

It's the day of the monster invasion where Katz lost both of his parents while all he can do is watch the monster rip his parent apart while they devoured them and ate them while leaving nothing behind.

A hammering sound resonates around the room as a tall kid with a body full of sweat standing beside the anvil hammering a sword finishing his product, the kid has a pure black hair with a pair of brown eyes and a quite handsome face, but even with his dirty looking face and body most of the girls will still think he's quite handsome.

Moments later, Katz finally finishes his product, a simple sword with no special features. Since the death of his parents, he didn't let himself be consumed by guilt, depression nor sadness, he hides them in the deepest part of his heart, he focuses his mind on one thing only and didn't let himself to be distracted.

Because of that, he continues to do his job as a blacksmith earning his living even if it's just a little bit, and as time goes by a grudge, deep hate, and regret started to sprout in his mind.

Eventually, he started to use a sword and tries to learn the skill of a swordsman, since being a mage is out of the question as he doesn't have any mana in himself self of course learning a skill outside your job will lead you to a penalty but that didn't stop him.

Because of that Katz became a [JOBLESS] and that was 6 months ago, he didn't know himself, but the moment he became jobless, he felt a certain power disappear in his body, but not completely, so ignoring the fact he's a jobless now he still tries his hard to learn a skill of a swordsman while doing his job as a Blacksmith.

"Whooo~ Now that the weapon is done what my current status anyway?" Katz said as he walks in a nearby chair and rests while looking at his status.

Katz is also one of the luckiest people who receive an ability aside from a job, what he received is a status where he can get a piece of information about the targeted item and himself.
