Actually, the Gale Wolf King wasn't the only three-star gold-quality beast Zhang Che encountered in the past two days, but his good luck seemed to have come to an end a few days ago.

Over the past two days, he slew over half a dozen three-star gold-quality exotic beasts, but only obtained a single beast card out of them, leaving Zhang Che on the verge of tears.

He could swear to the gods that these were the unluckiest two days of his life.

He slowly came to discover a pattern: the higher the level and quality of an exotic beast, the higher the chances of it dropping a beast card.

All the dark gold-quality exotic beasts he slew had dropped beast cards. This made him hazard a bold guess: were all beasts sure to drop beast cards once their quality reached dark gold?

Even so, the number of dark gold-quality beasts he killed were still too little. He wasn't able to confirm whether his hypothesis was true.
