26 Chapter26-The Ultimate Weapon Against the Boss

After inspecting his assortment of items, Jason was greeted by the system's pleasant notification sound.

[Your unit training is complete. Congratulations, you have acquired 3-tier unit [Losfall Hunter] *2500!]

[Ding! Undead Plague has been activated, your [Losfall Hunters] have been upgraded to 2-tier and undergone undeath transformation, promoting your Losfall Hunters to 5-tier hidden unit [Bloodseeker]!]

Instantly, the hunter's hall, which had been somewhat empty, was now crammed with the freshly spawned soldiers!

A sea of heads crowded the space.

Fortunately, Jason reacted swiftly, raising his hand to transfer all the newly joined soldiers into the Realm of Heimdall.

Yet, the spectacle still left the surrounding players dumbfounded.

"Did I just see a group of incredibly formidable soldiers filling up the space?"

"Did I see that wrong?"

"No way, I definitely felt someone push me."

"Could it be him…"

"Could this guy actually be Smith?"

...

The players buzzed with discussions, filled with awe.

Their first thought was that such a grand spectacle could only be the work of a legend like Smith.

However, before the players could fully grasp what had happened, Jason had already activated the Exile Cloak's ability—Shadowfade, vanishing from everyone's sight.

It was only after he had moved some distance away from the hunters' hall that he began to inspect his new unit.

[Bloodseeker]

[tier: 5-tier]

[Race: Undead]

[Level: 1]

[HP: 3500/3500]

[Attack Power: 700]

[Defense: 400]

[Magic Resistance: 400]

[Speed: 160]

[Food Consumption: 0]

Skills:

[Death Tracker]: Automatically gains vision of all nearby non-full health units, dealing increased damage to units with lower HP, up to a maximum of 30%.

[Corrosion]: Each attack by the Bloodseeker reduces the enemy's defense and Magic Resistance by 1%, effects are stackable.

Description: Hunters who lost their lives, now reanimated by the power of the undead, have risen again. They retain their exceptional ability to track their prey.

They will only obey their creator [Jason].

As undead beings, Bloodseekers do not require food.

"Infinite defense reduction?" Jason's eyes lit up, truly a hidden unit, impressive!

The strength of the Bloodseeker was higher than he had anticipated.

The first skill, area tracking, could be incredibly effective in certain special dungeons, and the second ability, endlessly stacking reduction of defense and Magic Resistance, could be remarkably effective against those bosses with terrifying HP, as the Bloodseekers could probably strip away all the enemy's defensive attributes by mid-battle!

This would significantly increase Jason's efficiency in boss fights, and due to the [Undead Plague] doubling all attributes, the Bloodseekers could partake in higher-level boss battles without getting instantly annihilated.

This means their defense-weakening ability will be effective over a long duration.

"The lord really gave me some good stuff!" Jason couldn't help but exclaim, "Moreover, based on the strategies leaked by those guilds in Losfall in my past life, there's another phase to this quest, which I can take on tomorrow."

"There's also a 4-tier unit training permission to be claimed."

He was in high spirits, feeling his choice of Losfall as his starting location, with its abundant resources, was well justified.

"And with this…"

"That event dungeon seems like it could be tackled sooner…" Jason couldn't help thinking.

He had initially planned to challenge the dungeon that awarded the SSS-class job change item in a few days, but with 2500 Bloodseekers at his disposal, his capability against bosses had significantly improved, and his current combat strength was surely sufficient to clear that dungeon!

After some thought, Jason decided on a somewhat ruthless course of action.

He first contacted Aelica through the game's trade logs, left her a list of materials, and informed her that if she could gather all the resources by tonight, he would reward her with several pieces of silver-grade equipment.

This request was extremely demanding, collecting materials at night with the accompanying penalties, and since they were high-level materials, only the elite players from the officials could be dispatched, whose earnings for the following days would drastically decrease.

Even for the Valoria officials, bearing such pressure would be overwhelming.

But at this moment, Jason was only concerned with his own progression.

Afterward, he returned to the inn he stayed at the previous night.

Before sleep, he played a friendly match in bed with the dragon girl, coaxing her to sleep afterwards.

Then, Jason reviewed his gains over the past two days.

He and Carolina had spent the day grinding, both reaching level twenty-nine, their skills unchanged but with some basic attributes increased.

Jason's forces comprised:

200 full-strength 4-tier Banshees.

1,200 4-tier bone magi and 800 Ghouls.

179 5-tier Subspecies Bone Dragons, having replenished after heavy losses.

200 full-strength 5-tier Death Acolytes.

277 5-tier Dragonsepulcher Sentinels, slightly reduced in number.

500 5-tier Death Knights.

2,500 5-tier Bloodseekers.

116 full-strength 6-tier Frost Liches.

400 full-strength 7-tier Bone Dragon Knights.

The total force was around six thousand five hundred, and all were high-tier units!

For other players, setting aside the feasibility of gathering so many powerful subordinates, just the Command Limit would be a constraint, as high-tier units demand too much!

As for the various items and materials, they were innumerable.

"It's a pity that there's a pile of basic resources I can't even spend before establishing the [Divine Realm]."

Tallying his resources, Jason's face was filled with satisfaction.

The EX-class talent [Undead Plague] hadn't failed him; he was far more formidable now than he had been a year into the game in his past life!

Before going to sleep, he opened the chat interface again, ready to check if the Valoria officials were interested in his trade proposal.

As soon as Jason opened the chat box, he was met with a flood of messages.

A long string of texts had come in from Aelica.

[21:16] (Note: In-game time)

"Gathering materials, tonight??"

"Are you kidding me?"

"My God! These are silver-level equipments, how is this possible??"

"Aren't you going to wear them? Giving them to us??"

"No way! Your demands are too high, we can't possibly agree."

[21:21]

"Bro, I was just joking, can we talk again?"

"Bro, say something, please?"

"Mr. Smith??"

"Your demands are too outrageous, I really can't decide on this."

"I mean, not even willing to communicate, isn't that a bit disrespectful to us officials?"

[21:40]

"Sorry, Mr. Smith, I wasn't fully awake just now, my head was a bit fuzzy."

"Yes, my brain must be broken."

"Can you give us a day or two grace period, and we will definitely try our best to gather the materials for you."

….

[22:01]

"Mr. Smith, if you don't speak, I'll take that as the deal being on."

"We'll deliver the materials by 6 am tomorrow, it's a deal, okay!"

[22:17]

"Mr. Smith, are you sure about giving us those equipments?"

Jason, expressionless, "..."

Just one sentence from me, and you get this agitated?

He still adhered to the principle of speaking less to avoid mistakes, staying silent to maintain an air of mastery.

"Materials arrive, equipment is always available."

Then Jason closed the private chat.

At that moment, he felt a sudden wet sensation down there; Carolina had woken up again, somehow.

"My respected master…" she mumbled unclearly, busily attending to Jason's hardness.

Carolina herself didn't expect her desires to be so intense, or rather, since being irrigated by Jason the day before, she seemed to have become addicted.

The special energy infused into Carolina while merging intimately with Jason, she could clearly sense, was immensely beneficial to her!

It had already escalated Carolina by 1-tier, but now, she felt that continuing to make love with her master might allow her even further advancements...

Just as humans innately crave high-calorie foods, finding them delicious, Carolina felt the same way; merging with Jason was the most joyous thing in her life.

And of course, Jason wouldn't refuse the dragon girl's attentions, he closed his eyes slightly, savoring the moment.

In his past life, Jason had his fill of countless women, but now he realized that these powerful heroes felt even more sensational.

"Hope I don't summon a male hero tomorrow…" Jason couldn't help but think. Otherwise, he really couldn't assist in tier upgrading.
