15 Chapter15-Infusing Carolina with Essence

Clang.

Clang.

Inside the most luxurious room of the hotel, the originally high-quality bed emitted sounds of being overwhelmed.

Jason continued his fervent thrusts.

Meanwhile, Carolina's heart swelled with joy; initially, she had offered herself resolutely, believing she was following a being with the authority of a deity.

Now, Carolina felt that perhaps she hadn't sacrificed anything at all.

Instead, she experienced an unprecedented sense of fulfillment within her...

Time seemed to blur.

Jason pinned Carolina down on the bed, where she lay immobile, passively enduring.

What Jason beheld was the dragonkin maiden's soft, fiery body trembling and undulating like waves under his impacts, filling him with an immense sense of satisfaction.

However, just as Jason was giving his all, channeling his essence fully into Carolina, he inexplicably felt the cool breath that had surged into him when his talent was activated also seemed to leak out somewhat...

Simultaneously—

"Ah~~" The dragonkin maiden let out a prolonged moan.

It felt like a cat's claws were scratching his heart, making Jason feel an increase in intensity below.

But in the next moment, Carolina's body emitted a strange glow.

The system alert came through.

[Warning! Hero Carolina is influenced by unknown data!]

[Warning! Hero…]

Then followed by:

[Due to the high concentration of [Heart of Undead] energy infusion, Carolina triggers [Underworld Baptism (Special)] and is promoted to an SSS-level hero!]

"Uh~ Ah~~"

Carolina softly howled, pale blue patterns lighting up her fair skin, which thankfully soon faded away.

However, on the lower abdomen where Jason was intimately connected, a silver-gray mark appeared, shaped like a heart, adorned with intricate fleur-de-lis patterns.

"Haah~ Haah."

Carolina was completely spent, but in Jason's view, her attribute panel had already changed—

[Carolina]

[Level: 10]

[Quality: SSS-level]

[HP: 20000]

[Attack: 1000]

[Defense: 1000]

[Magic Resistance: 1200]

[Speed: 240]

[Skills:

[Dragonization]: Transforms into dragon form, increasing all attributes by 120%.

[Undead Brand]: The unit maintains its original racial traits while being considered as undead race, hero quality increases by 1-tier.]

Instantly, Jason calmed down. "No... what's going on here? Isn't Underworld Baptism supposed to be for soldiers only?"

Though he voiced his confusion, he had his suspicions.

In reality, when he received his units, he had transmitted power remotely to promote them, but Carolina had been infused with his essence, which likely contained some power from the Myth-level item, Heart of Undead.

The Underworld Baptism authority, in a sense, is merely the manifestation of the Heart of Undead's ability to transform anything into the undead race and enhance its power.

Having sown the seeds personally, the high concentration of energy naturally allowed even a hero to undergo transformation.

Musing to himself, Jason gently stroked Carolina's hair—she had passed out from the overwhelming pleasure.

"Does that mean if I acquire more heroes in the future, I can use this method of sowing to enhance their quality?"

"Wow! What a powerful ability!" Jason couldn't help but marvel.

It might not mean much to elevate the tier of some low-ranking heroes, but given the current trajectory, he was on course to dominate various dungeons' first clears and kills.

Jason had a comprehensive understanding of various coveted quests and the heroes he would eventually acquire were likely to be A-level, S-level, or even SS-level like Carolina.

Elevating them by one tier could potentially maximize their quality!

SSS-level heroes were only possessed by the top echelons on Earth in his past life, and Jason himself hadn't expected to secure one so soon after the server launch.

However, Jason's expression turned peculiar.

"So, it seems that if I want to 'sow' to boost the power of high-quality heroes, it can only be limited to females." He felt somewhat resigned.

After all, Jason was strictly heterosexual.

It's a bit regrettable, as some of the high-tier heroes he knew from his past life included both males and females.

Now, he would have to be more cautious in selecting heroes in the future...

Afterward, Jason placed Carolina on the bed and covered her with a blanket.

He then lay down himself.

Time to sleep!

...

The next day, Jason woke up feeling refreshed.

As soon as he opened his eyes, a flashy page popped up in front of him, with a golden holographic stele appearing before his eyes, inscribed with text.

[Server Launch Event: Ascended High Tier]

[Remaining Time: 29 days]

[Starting now, you can accumulate reward points through the following in-game actions. Accumulating a certain number of points unlocks tiered rewards, with higher tiers offering better rewards.]

[Actions eligible for reward points:

Defeat monsters (0/4 million)

Create [Divine Realm] (0/1)

Acquire heroes (0/5)

Defeat any BOSS (0/20)

Clear dungeons (0/15)

Collect various resources (0/8 million)

Accumulate soldiers (0/20,000)

Acquire relics (0/3)]

Jason was already well-versed with the content popped up by the system.

He then checked the rewards.

The lowest tier reward grants a 2-tier soldier teleportation array and a choice of one bronze equipment piece.

The highest tier, tier nine, requires maxing out all the above challenges to unlock.

The rewards are indeed spectacular...

Choose an 8-tier unit training building blueprint, SSS-level Divine Summons (choose your hero), three random legendary pieces of equipment, one thousand Divine Waters, and three special dungeon passes: Echoes of Time.

Additionally, there's an icon displayed as a treasure chest with a question mark.

As for what's inside the chest...

Jason didn't know either, because the highest record achieved in his past life for this Ascended High Tier event was the 8th tier.

Only seven people reached it.

Among them, two were players supported by family powers, who barely managed it with their unique destinies.

The remaining five were each nurtured by the official governments of Celestria, the United States, Everdawn, Valoria, and Elysium.

Indeed, the challenge of the 8th tier, at the normal development speed of players, required the concerted effort of the Earth's UN Security Council permanent member countries to accomplish.

As for the ninth tier of the event, nobody in his past life even considered attempting it.

The difficulty was absurd; just the requirements for acquiring resources, soldier accumulation, and boss kills were frighteningly high.

And what's even more challenging were the tasks to create a [Divine Realm], acquire heroes, and relics...

After Divine Age became integrated with reality, the vast majority of players were never able to establish their own [Divine Realm].

Similarly, acquiring heroes was also something that the vast majority of players found extremely challenging...

In Jason's past life, it took a decade or two just to recruit at most one or two heroes.

As for relics, in the early stages of the game, one could only learn of their existence through certain quests.

There was simply no way to obtain them.

The ninth tier of the Ascended High Tier was utterly uncharted, even beyond the realm of consideration for anyone, let alone attempting to tackle it.

For Jason, naturally, he wanted to take on the challenge because, armed with over two decades of memories, he had solutions for all the aforementioned difficulties.

However, creating a [Divine Realm], acquiring heroes and relics, as well as eliminating a massive number of monsters and gathering vast resources, each required a significant amount of time.

This is precisely why Jason didn't bother collecting those resource points yesterday, choosing to wait until the event started.

His biggest concern was the lack of time!

Jason wasn't one of those players backed by national governments, who had minions to lure monsters to be beaten down for him to kill easily, or had pre-planned routes to ensure enough resources were gathered...

Every second counts towards the rewards of the ninth tier!

...

Thus, Jason left a note for Carolina instructing her to head to the western city gate of Losfall upon waking up.

He then left the inn and swiftly got into action.

His first destination was the lord's manor of Losfall.

At the entrance, two guards instinctively attempted to stop the approaching stranger.

However, Jason presented the [Lost Necklace] he had acquired earlier and then urgently stated, "The lord's daughter is in trouble, go inform him immediately!"
