1 My First Bow

Walking towards a great city, the young man name Hoshea was very courageous to start his training and one day to prove himself as worthy of becoming an official soldier of their kingdom.

At the age of 20, volunteers may serve their country by being a soldier. Training in cities for specific class/job you want are free, however before they can be accepted and registered as a soldier, they need to prove that they are capable of fighting for the human kingdom. The task is to obtain one piece of goblin ear. This test is called proving one's worth. This looks easy and simple, but goblins do not wander alone, they went out as a group. This test is dangerous enough that many trainees are losed their lives.

For so many years, Kingdom of human, elves and dwarves are fighting against greenskin, undead, dark elves and other races. The fight was not just for lands, but for their lives! Fighting is not an option for humans, elves and dwarves, it is a must! Other races are consistent it attacking them, that is why for so many years now, these 3 kingdom or race formed an alliance against various races to survive. Many human, elves and dwarves lost their lives protecting their lives and lands, but the war is not yet finished, the forces of evil are still out there in their land and some are even in their kingdom. That is why soldiers are being gathered all over the human, elf and dwarf kingdom to defend and fight for survival.

On the gates, guards are registering every new comer their city.

"Name?" The guard questioned,

"im Hoshea" He answered "i am from a small village called wodden village. i wish to train and be registered as an bowman"

"oh! from wodden village, a very known village of Hunters. You may now enter" said the guard while handling a registration paper for an bowman.

Hunter is the final rank of a bowman may can achieve, the lowest rank is bowman then archer rank and the last is hunter. The differences in the rank of this job is their weapons, armours, power and abilities.

Hoshea proceed to the archery area and hand over the paper to resgister as a trainee.

After resgistering as a trainee, Hoshea entered into the archery training place and he was amazed by the numbers trainees in front of him! More than 500 trainees are starting today!

Meanwhile, a instructor walks infront of them

"I am Hunter Kiabo, your instructor" He paused a bit, looking at the faces of these trainees. "In a war or a battle, range soldiers like what you will be mainly at the back, shooting arrows while other soldiers are infront, that means somehow, they are expecting you not to shoot them but instead, taking enemies as much as you can while safety attacking at the back, but that is not always the case, you will experience being ambushed or attack head on and pushing you to fight in melee! That is why i will teach you 2 abilities and basic combat using a dagger. You will be trained maximum of two months before the proving one's worth test. Now you will be divided into squads and then you will recieve you first bow. Tomorrow will be your first training day"

The trainees where divided into 20 members per squad, and directed into their tent.

One of the trainee in their squad shouted "team, lets fall in line and claim our first bow!"

Recieving their first bow or weapon is very important to them, because weapon for them is a symbol of a hero. Recieving a bow is like recieving a badge of recognition.

Carrying a weapon under age is porhibited in their contry. But after a person was given his first weapon, means he was also given the permission to carry weapons and not be arrested.

Falling in line outside their tent, two soldiers carrying a chest are walking towards them!

"This is it" one of the trainee said.

Inside the chest, there are wooden bows. These were given to the trainees and 50 peices of wooden arrow.

Holding in his hands, Hoshea said "My first bow, a simple bow!"
