2 Chapter 2: Paranoia

*wind whistling* I open my eyes to see that about 300 people are crowded around me. As I try to move, the sharpest pain I have ever felt, spiked my spine. I let out a bloodcurdling scream as my mom ran towards me along with 2 medics and a priest. "A Priest?" I ask myself. The medics took me in, along with the priest by my side saying some gibberish I've never heard before. I get to the hospital room and they put an I.V. In me, all that crap, but then I start to feel somnolent out of nowhere. I felt some Ki(2)around me, but it wasn't good. I, just had this weird feeling that someone was watching me, I couldn't help to stay awake, the last time I blinked before I drowsed off again, I saw him. Vapula...

I awake in the same place as when Xphry endured me into that, dark expanse. I felt colder than last time, I couldn't feel any Ki at all, none. Yet though I felt more that 1 set of eyes watching me. I turn around, but no one is to be sighted, I turn back straight ahead, but still, nothing. The room starts to quake, although very slightly, as the quaking starts to intensify, I feel something sharp, slimy, and hot grasp me. I, horrified, was about to scream, but I couldn't. I was speechless, literally. I could not move, though I could still feel. The warm hand's temperature began to rise, and rise, until I couldn't take it, I tried to move with all my force, but nothing, I attempted to screamed as I was blistered through my shoulder, through my back. But though, I could still not scream. Just as I was about to accept my pain and death, it was ice cold. No blisters, no fire, no pain. I could move and talk again. But the hand was still grasped to my right shoulder. I was too afraid too move, of that I thought if I did, I would have went 6 feet under.

Out of nowhere, or reason, I was back on the hospital bed. But I could still sense the Ki. I asked to move to a different expanse, but by that what seemed less than a minute, had been 2 days. I've been in a 2 day coma, and remember nothing, of course. I look around to see that my mom was nowhere in the expanse. I politely asked where my mom was, along with all the stuttering with a frightened feeling. The, supposably new doctor responded with, "She, well-umm, she was killed as soon as you went into the 2 day coma." I responded with "Killed?! HOW?" I heard my heart rate increasing as I tried to get out of the hospital equipment. The doctor pinned me down on the bed and said, "You must not move, you will go into another coma." "I DONT CARE, I need to find my mom, where is she?" The doctor looked at me with nervous eyes. "She is, at th-th-the cemetery. I shouted "WHAT?!" I immediately took out the hospital equipment and rushed to the main office. I asked the lady there to give me my clothes, but she said "I need your name first..." "OH MY G- ...it's Sam, Samuel Favela" "And your Hospital I.D. ?" " Ugh, one-one-zero-three-five-seven-two" "Alright that'll be twenty bucks" "ARE YOU F#%KING SERIOUS?!" "Jeez, calm down, here's your clothes." I ran to the bathroom and got changed immediately. As I came out, I felt a surge against my body. I couldn't move again, I couldn't talk either. I thought to myself, "REALLY? Right now?, it's barely been five minutes!" I started to contort for the 3rd time since Wednesday, I knew what to do now, since this was pretty common already. As soon as I was sent into the pitch black room, I turned around and started to run, nonstop, until I saw light.

I didn't even think for a moment until, I've heard the scariest thing in my life. I heard clicking and thought, "Please just be my imagination, please..." I turn around and see a half spider half humanoid looking demon, all contorted with Xphry's body on top. As soon as I start to run to the light tunnel, the eight bright red eyes started to move, at least three times faster than me, good thing I got a head start. I heard the demons clicking getting closer and closer to my ears, until it yanked me.

I fell unconscious and woke back up in the cemetery the doctor said my mom was in. I started looking for any graves that said her name. "Stephanie Iverson, no, Sylvester Beal." I thought to myself, "They wouldn't bury someone within two days, right?!" I start to rush inside the building of where the cemetery was. As soon as I walked in, it just smelled like complete baby oil. "Something to take my mind off dead people" I went to a room that was very bright and white, I looked to see if my mom was there but there was nothing I could possibly see. I saw a surgeon, and asked him politely but not so it wouldn't seem weird, where my mom was. He responded with a totally different answer than I imagined. He knew her name, I know he could have looked at her I.D., but my mom was born without a name.

I gave my mom a name that nobody could possibly know. My heart rate went up again, increasing at an alarming rate. I could feel it, he was a demon. He reached for my forehead, but I stopped his hand and pushed it away from me. "Something of an expert kid, huh?" His voice wasn't normal, it was gravely and sounded like he had liquid in his throat. He got in a thrusting position with his legs, his skin turned pitch Black, with blank white eyes. He lunged at me with all his force, I was back there, again... then I heard a voice "Sam?!" "Mom?"...
