10 Beast Collar

A restrained Black Tiger stumbled as his warden roughly shoved him. "Move faster black cat!" The man said with a smug smile.

Black Tiger stopped and turned to look deeply at the man. His rage bubbled as he senses the man's Profound aura.

'Damn it! Who'd have thought; I the Black Tiger, a nascent Profound master would be pushed around by a Elementary Profound Realm brat!' He couldn't help but grind his teeth in anger.

He focused his nascent Profound aura at the man, while he couldn't use his Profound strength due to that 'devil', he could use his aura.

However, the man didn't flinch. The ex-gangleader could bearly react before the blow reached him; knocking him onto the cold stone floor.

A slap!

He'd been slapped!

Black Tiger was foaming at the mouth as the man roughly pulled him up from his feet and began dragging him down the poorly lit hallways.

"Heh! You don't think I know what you're doing old dog?"

A cold dread washed over him. He'd been found out! He'd been stalling this whole time, hoping to delay the inevitable.

Black Tiger wished to extend what little time he had before seeing the devil. However, his captor wouldn't humour him.

So he was dragged kicking and screaming down the twisted halls of the devil's nest. Sometimes he glanced through the cells they'd pass occasionally.

Inside he could see once fierce and infamous characters bound just like him. Their faces blank and their souls broken.

Soon he he was taken to a familiar bright room. The bright light and sterile chemical scent assaulted his eyes and nose.

Black Tiger was shaking then. He knew what was next.

He fought viciously but his opponent was too strong. His restraints and clothing were removed before he was forced onto a cold stone table and restrained once again.

Not a moment after, he heard a sultry voice.

~~Black Tiger-kun, it's been so long since we met~.

Black Tiger's eyes widened and his heart rate spiked as the pale faced devil looked down at him.

"Please! Release me from this torment! Kill me! You wicked devil" If this was a few days ago, thise words would have never left his lips.

The devil's eyes had a wounded look in them, as if his feelings were hurt. "Oh, Tiger-kun. After not seeing each other for a so long, this is how you greet a friend? We've gotten so close~."

Black tiger shifted his eyes from starring at the devil's face. Not because he was feeling bad because of the devil's words- no he just couldn't bear to stare at the pitch-black eyes of the monster.

Seeing the man ignoring him Orochimaru sighed. "You're no fun anymore Tiger-kun. Have our sessions plucked the tiger's fangs out?"

Black tiger spun his head around and spat at Orochimaru's face. "Damn you to hell!" His hands fought against the bindings, feeling a little sad that Orochimaru avoided the glob with a simple shift of his head.

"I'd snap your neck of I could!" Hatred and fear poured from his eyes.

"Ah! There he is~! The black Tiger~!" Orochimaru seemed to relish in the man's hateful gaze.

"I'm sure you'll like today's session. I won't be drugging or cutting you open this time alright?"

Orochimaru's words didn't bring any relief to him. Black Tiger could only shut his eyes as Orochimaru traced a cold finger over his chest.

"Hmmm, the seal's holding up nicely." The bound man felt various stings as dozens of needles stabbed into his body.

"There also seems to be no adverse effects on your Profound veins, entrances or body, not on the macro scale at least..."

Orochimaru began walking around him, a brush and inkstone in hand. He'd occasionally dip to write on the floor while circling the bound Black Tiger.

By the end, an hour passed, both the ground and his body was covered in fuinjutsu characters. Orochimaru stood back looking proudly at his work while wiping the sweat from his face.

"Finally done." Orochimaru sighed as he looked at the bound man on the table.

"Now, let's begin." Hearing these words from Orochimaru reminded Black Tiger of the last words he heard from before he he was captured and plunged into hell.

The sounds of Orochimaru weaving hand signs reached him before the ink on the ground lit up and pain overcame him.

The last thing he heard before bellowing out in agony was:

"Ninja Art! Profound Sealing: Beast Shackles!"

Pain racked him as the strange characters traveled across his body and seeped inside him. Deep into flesh and around his profound veins! He felt raw pain like no other promoting his brain to shut down from shock.

When Black tiger opened his eyes again. The pain had gone but he felt tired, very tired. He moved his arms expecting to feel the restraints but as it turns out he wasn't bound! Instantly he jumped from the bed!

His eyes darted around, scanning the room while circulating his profound energy- or at least he attempted to circulate it. Instead he just felt empty, hollow. His profound veins- he couldn't feel them! It was as if they were present!

He started to hyperventilate. "My Profound energy- my Profound veins!"

As he gripped his chest he noticed the extra markings that extended from his chest to his stomach. Weeks ago, the demon did something to him.

He somehow inhibited him from using his Profound strength. However this was a whole new hell, he couldn't even feel his aura!

Black tiger didn't know how it got there or what it was but he knew who must have put it on him.

"Devil!"

"That devil!"

"I'll! I'll!" Through the despair and anger Black Tiger was unable to even form coherent sentences.

"What you'll kill me?~" Black Tiger's eyes snapped up to look at the owner of the teasing voice.

"You! I'll kill you wretch!" Black tiger all but growled as he shot forward.

His fist slammed into the devil's face and with glee, he watched as the wretch's head whipped around. His fist burned but with adrenaline pumping through his veins and his anger/fear. het barely felt anything.

A left fist followed with a right. He began using all the painful street fighting techniques he learned growing up in the eastern slums. Blood flew and the devil was beaten back. "Die! I'll split your skull with my fists!"

"Hahahaha!"

Off to the side. Orochimaru looked at the man lost to madness and genjutsu. The man's fists were blooded and his knuckles were stripped. But still he bashed at the reinforced stone wall.

In his hand Orochimaru held a wooden slab. It lit up as the fuinjutsu characters covering it shifted and squirmed every time black tiger struck the wall.

"Hmm... The force is around the level of a chakra assisted academy student. But his bone strength and structure is quite remarkable. Nowhere near Kimimaru-kun or Jugo-kun but not bad for a normal human."

Orochimaru looked at the data on the ninja tool and hypothesed:

'It seems the body of a Nascent profound realm practitioner is one that has been fundamentally changed due to the saturation of profound energy through their veins. In the Elementary profound realm, the profound energy changes the body by replacing the normal cells with profound energy infused ones.

The bones, blood and muscles have become fine conduits for profound energy and the body is reinforced."

Remarkable! If this was true, wouldn't this mean that the more profound energy a individual receives- the greater their physical power. Not just physically but the increased density of profound energy means an even greater potential!

However, until I'm able to observe cells on a microscopic level, I won't be able to confirm anything.....'

Orochimaru was rather proud of this new Seal of his. It was a combination of all his past and current research into fuinjutsu. His first success was sealing Profound energy and cutting it off from a practitioner.

To do this he implemented both sealing techniques used in sealing chakra and tailed beasts. However this couldn't seal the aura of a practitioner.

And so, he further used invasive fuinjutsu techniques to target the profound veins directly.

Finally, he added another function, it was a combination of the Caged Bird Seal and Genjutsu. While he was unable to cast Genjutsu through the air due to his unbalanced chakra control and lack of Yin affinity.

He could use the seal to guide Profound energy into the chakra coils/meridians to induce an illusion manually. Similarly to what he did to Blue B.

In the end, he created a technique never seen before in this world. A restraint-type fuinjutsu for his prisoners. However, it wasn't just a shackle, it could give him valuable data on the physiology of Profound Practitioners!

'Now it's time to place it on the other test subjects...' After all, the Sanin didn't have enough data on the survivability rate or side-effects!
