Discovered yet broken

Sweat dripping from my face. Not again, not another nightmare. My body shaking,tears falling down. I can't seem to control anything. I want to call out for my mum but I don't want to actually I can't disturb her.

I glance over to the clock on my nightstand and it's only 2am, I have school in 5hours and I don't want to sleep anymore. I got out of bed and went to take a shower after I was done, I wore my onesies and took my phone and headphones, went on my desk and started listening to music whilst writing poems and drawing.

"Nevaeh Tamara Rodriguez! Hurry up or you will be late for school!", my mother oh so graciously yelled for me.

"Coming!" I shouted back. I ran down the stairs and took an apple and got into my mothers car. My school was only 10minutes away when I am walking, so in less than 5minutes I was already here.

"Don't stay up late I'm working all night today. There are leftovers in the oven. Bye baby I love you"

"Okay mum,bye I love you too". I answered her and made my way to school.

I got to my locker and took my books for study hall. Math, literature, Dance and Biology were actually easy combinations all together. I got to study hall and saw my brunette haired best friend Tamia Ariana Jonas. She looked all nerdy with her glasses.Tami's eyes are an amazing red,she is covered with freckles and has a body to kill for. She does Math,Literature,Spanish and Drama.

I got to were she was sitted and greeted her,she just gave me a nod and went back to studying what I think is Spanish. I took my novel and started reading it. Romeo and Juliet, I will never understand that book. Romeo and Juliets supposed 'forbidden love' and the way she killed herself ; this book is far from being relatable. I still wonder why I took literature.

After an hour of reading, it was finally time for dance. Whilst I went for my dance lesson, Tamia had drama. I hugged her goodbye and went to class. I love dancing so much; it's like my only escape from this cruel reality, cruel world we live in.

I grew up dancing, my mum was a dancer and at 4years she started taking us for dance.

I got into the changing room and changed into my ballet outfit and waited for my teacher along with the other girls.

An hour later I had Math with Tamia , I went out of class and waited for her outside the Science building. We got into the class and went to sit in the middle of the room; were we can talk without being caught and listen without any disturbances.

5minutes later the teacher came in and gave us a surprise test. It was easy considering it was Algebra and I love the topic and the subject itself. 30 minutes later I was done with my test. I handed it in and went outside to wait for Tamia. 5 minutes later Tamia got out and we walked to her car considering we still had 25 minutes till break.

"You my friend are a math genius!! How did you complete that test so quickly!?" Tamia questioned me.

"It was algebra Tam's and you know how I love that topic." I answered her laughing.

"Riiighttttt. Anyway when am I coming to your house for a sleepover, I can't stand my parents at fighting anymore?"

Even though she's trying to sound brave, I know my best friend. Her parents have been fighting for the longest; it's been a month and it's affecting her badly.

"You can come today if you want my mum is working late again and she is going away for 2 weeks starting Wednesday, so you can come any day you want actually; my mum won't mind." I answered her whilst shrugging.

"Alright then. My dear best friend imma see you today." Tamia smiles at me.

We took her food from the car and went back to the school building.

"You coming to the game on Friday?" Tamzy asked.

"Considering you are my ride back home and we going to be here the whole day after school, what do you think?"

"I think we have to pack extra food that day." My best friend smiled.

We got to the cafeteria, took our food and went to sit at our usual spot; which was at the back.

I wasn't really antisocial but I just didn't like attaching myself to people who wouldn't stay forever or people who didn't care.

Tamia was my only friend. She also has her own group of friends but we're best friends practically sisters. We grew up together from preschool till now we have been inseparable. After break Tam went for Spanish and I went for Biology.

When I made my way to class I bumped into the one and only BITCH OF THE SCHOOL , Penelope Styles escorted by her two bimbos Stephanie Pierre and Victoria Diaz.

"Watch were you going, you little prick!" Penelope glared at me.

"I'm sorry your highness" I couldn't help but laugh at the way I talked to her. Before she could say anything else I walked away.
