2 WillSonBurg

"Hey You!" says one of the guards.

"What business you have here foreigner."

"Uh..." I hesitate as I can feel the prejudice against me and see the mouth movements not match up to what I am hearing. I try to remember my name but it aludes me.

"I... I am lost and would like to know where I am please."

"You, uh, are in Willsonburg. protected by the families of Willams, Johnson, and Fanburg. Have you not heard of them."

"Sorry sir I have not."

"We are both from Johnson and Fanburg"

"Known for our strength, we boast a collective 6 4-teir physical fighters."

"I saw you moving around that stick earlier, while not an impressive feat, it shows you have basic strength. We could set you up to do basic labor around if you want some food and a place to stay."

"I would much like that."

As I am lead into town by one of the guards, everything looks to be from the medieval times. I am lead into an adventurer guild building.

I see it looks normal roughty bunch drinking talking about going to hunt more rabbits around town. I snicker to myself that they think that rabbits are strong and can make good money off them.

The guard goes up to the receptionist lady, looks to be around 30 black hair and petite. From my world, above average looking. I see him hitting on her while talking about a new person to help around the town. He waves me over.

"This is Melissa."

"Welcome, I see you are willing to do some labor work to be able to make ends meet."

"Yes I am."

"Please put your hand on this crystal."

I see her jotting down information and look confused.

Name: __________

Age: 18

Qi: estimated 100 (tier-1)

Physical:

"Um, you don't have a name?" She inquired

"Oh..."

"Well, get him to do a strength test."

I am motioned to a block and asked to punch it. As I punch it, it makes a funny noise.

"I see, 100 points. Eh, not bad looks like you can still be of use."

"Um, what does 100 mean?"

"Well, you have an alright strength. You are classified as just bearly tier-1."

"So, does that make me strong?"

"Hahaha"

"Hehehe"

"What?"

"While you have some talent in Qi, most 13 year olds hit your strength. Hell, the basic animal, rabbits have about your strength. Typically 5 people fight those at your level and bearly win."

I came to the sad realization that my increase in strength was making me a basic human in this world. I hope that I can get stronger somehow.

I got given a job to move beer barrels, clean up the place, and other manual labor work for a few hours. I return and receive my reward of 3cp. She took pity on me allowing for 1 meal and room.

We talked for a little bit and choose the name Yu and learned about an adventurers. They are the day workers, any odd jobs come in the guild posts. People do the work and get paid. A lot of requested require fighting so be careful noobie as she gave me a wood carved coin.

As I asked about power, she gave me a look like I was stupid but luckily explained. Cultivation is separated into 2 categories Qi training for spells and Physical training. While each is good, Qi has weaker combat strength but can do many unusual things like heal.

Each tier is based around aggregate amount 100 is tier-1, 1000 tier-2, and so on. Besides basic villagers, most people were almost tier-2 for physical and few casters with even close to tier-2 power.

Everyone can use a little Qi and use combat techniques and spells with it. Techniques use the Qi to buff physical abilities or attacks allowing for extra damage.

As I head to sleep after a long day. I look at the stat window again. The warning disappeared but I see a change. Next to level.
