Inanimatus
A low gust of wind blew over a riverbed, slightly moving a small pebble.

Until one day, a corpse washed on the shore of that small river. The creature was enormous, far bigger than that small pebble. It was, in fact, bigger than trees and even bigger than houses. It resembled a lizard, with enormous wings on its back. It was dead.
As he washed ashore, blood started dripping from his body, and onto the pebble. It was dense and viscous, having a strong smell. It dripped and dripped and it started soaking onto the small rock.

"Am." The pebble thought.
"Am!" The pebble in fact, did think. It wasn't just a pebble anymore.
