4 Chapter four

She was running,until she saw a girl who looked just like her, holding her hand,and heal her wounds."who are you",she asked the other girl who healed herand before she could answer,she woke up from sleep.

"What did that mean",samantha said,as she woke up from her dream. She walked to Derick's room and knocked on the door.

"Come in",derick's echoed from inside the room and she opened the door and went in.

"What's wrong sam",Derick's said,looking at her puzzled look.

"For a moment,I thought it was real",Samantha said touching her face.

"What are you saying,to me,you have explained anything ,"Derick's said pointing to her to sit on the bed beside him.

"She was about 5 feet 3 tall,had long blonde hair like mine and emerald green eyes,light toned too,"Samantha said before he reached out and held her hands.

"Sam say something, you have said nothing other than describing yourself",Derick said before touching her chin "i'm serious Derick,and she healed all my wounds,it was a strange dream", Samantha said trying to remember the events in the dream.

"Why do you give a lot of meaning to the littlest of things ",Derick said not gaining meaning from Samantha's dream.

"You are never serious ", Samantha said pushing him slightly by his shoulder .

" ever since I met you I never did ", Derick said as he brought her hand to his lips and kissed itb.

" how is your work going ", Samantha asked slowly pulling away her hand .

" it's going well , and Ben said I would get promoted soon ", Derick said picking up his phone .

" you still haven't heard from your parents ", Samantha asked showing much concern .

" are we still talking about.this , it has been 11 years now sam , I still haven't heard from my parents and I don't even care anymore , Ben has been more than enough over the years for me ", Derick said trying to forget the sudden disappearance of his parents since he was five .

" sorry for reminding you of that ", Samantha said feeling guilty for reminding him his past .

" it's okay sam ", Derick said as he tilted his chin and kissed Samantha . it was as short as all their kisses .

" it's okay I understand that , but there's something I don't understand , we grew up together as siblings , but how did we get into this kisses kind of relationship ", Samantha asked confused .

" you look like someone from my past , my secret crush , and having you allowing me to express myself , makes you replace that girl's position in my life ", Derick said before kissing her again . it was their longest kiss ever , their tongues touched , but Samantha pulled out first .

" I just feel it's not right Derick ", Samantha said as she got up .

" calm down sam , it's okay , you are not ready and I understand Derick said as he felt disappointed .

" I like you but I just can't ",Samantha said and ran out of his bedroom .

She went into her room and spent dinner time thinking if she overreacted or not and how best to make it up to Derick . she soon went into the shower and took her bath and changed into a night gown . just when she was about to go to bed , she heard a knock on her door , it was Derick , he came into the room .

" you didn't have dinner ", he said although knowing the reason .

She ignored him and got up and walked towards him titled her head and kissed him , this time it was long . the end result of the kiss was that they were on the bed .

The next morning Samantha had this special glow to her .

Mrs Olivier got her bag and went to the living room , where all her children were sitted .

" I'll be going to see a friend , Alex and Stephanie , I would want to see the house in one piece when I return ", Mrs Olivier said as kiara ran to hug her .

" I'm not the problem , the problems know themselves ", Alex said trying to sound annoying .

" I don't care Alex , bye ", Mrs Olivier said and left the house .

" Steph , when is the party ", kiara asked turning to Stephanie .

" what party ", Alex asked curiously.

" sweetie , it's by 12:00pm ", Stephanie said ignoring Alex .

" I hope you don't intend leaving me in charge , because I know I wouldn't take that without making little brat cry and mum flog me even though she knows brat was wrong ", Alex said .

" Are you calling me a brat ", kiara asked angrily and left with Stephanie to her room without waiting for an answer .
