98 Taking Inventory

Exhaling, I then looked around at the three present: Cehn, Wincu and Wong. They would not allow my poor little beauty in my apartment. I wanted to kick up a fuss but the look Wong had given and Cehn to boot was courage sapping.

Were these people not around to please me? Fawn and say, "Ah Wu Jie, you are the best … whatever you desire we will be present to make it so"?

"When will he arrive?" Cehn asked, taking a seat a while later. While he was still wearing his school uniform, the jacket had probably been stored in his wristband.

His long legs were half bent as he slouched on my right side. His wonderful scent teased my nose, tempting me to lean on his shoulder. But was I so foolish as to do that? Soon the rank 1 will arrive and the cold beauty no doubt will sit on my other side. 

"He uh-"

My wristband pinged, looking down at the screen, I saw the message that popped up.
