50 Cold Beauty

The first ranked A student, Zesteri, had entered.

Yup, the ranked 1 student swaggered in like a total boss!

It was not too much to go so far as to say he resembled god gracing mortals with his presence – truly an unbelievable sight to behold. Trying my hardest not to drift off in my mind gazing at this male god, I caught sight of his cold eyes which were now scanning the massive room.

I took note of all this and in turn, took a large step back attempting to hide behind Wincu but changed my mind, thinking that if I stuck to Wong it would be much more beneficial to me. In truth, Wincu was passable but looking at the giant of a male god Zesteri, she was nothing in comparison, and it would be foolish to waste my carefully groomed meat shield like that, when one that can be quickly discarded was not too far away – practically by my side.

At least Wong was almost as tall, and was a much sturdier meat shield.

This first ranked student was dangerous, I just felt it.

Like a predator that had found its prey, his gaze finally landed on me and he smirked. My heart skipped a beat. Why did I fear this boy?

Although he had never approached me or even said a word, his gaze spoke volumes.

"Ah... Student Wong, I will be training today!" I said quickly, trying to hide the panic in my voice while looking for an escape route. Sadly, though, I seem to be doomed to failure.

Suddenly stepping closer to Wong and lifting my head, I flashed a smile at him slightly. For now, he will be the temporary thigh I will hug to beat back that one who sends my inner alarm bells ringing.

Looking up at Wong I saw the flash of surprise pass over his face so quickly that if I wasn't staring at his face, lost in its beauty and thinking how to move forward so that I could escape from the burning gaze of A student Zesteri, that I wouldn't have noticed.

Ah, the once cold-faced beauty everyone spoke of seems so sweet to look at.

"I am too, perhaps if student Wu Jie doesn't mind we can-"

"Of course, student Wong, I have no problem!"

I wanted to reach out and drag him along just so I could get away from that dangerous male, but I decided to flash him a smile instead. Step away and return to Wincu, before heading in the direction of the equipment I wanted to use today. Hoping against hope that he follows along, after all.

Reaching the area I sought to train, I then began with a few stretches not too long after I saw the beautiful male stop nearby just within view.

"You have wished to personally converse with me for a while," I said, standing straight. I'd probably look intimidating if I was not much shorter than everyone around me.

I ate much more than these people, so why?

Why doesn't this little body grow taller?!

"I have; I wish to grow close to you. After all, without your intervention, I would have not survived." 

"Mmm," I replied, standing straight and bending backwards into a crab back before raising my legs into a handstand and following the motion to stand on my two feet once again.

"I know I have-"

"Repayment is moot. As you know, I have no desire to stand out. Even if I wished to collect the debt, you must also be aware that I have no wish to, as of now." I said clearly, tilting my head upwards slightly so I could feast my eyes on that perfect face. If I were not a confident person I'd probably start questioning life and my own looks. Like all the top males, his cold beauty was probably the top in the school then Cehn and third that one I was trying to avoid Zesteri.

"When?"

"In the next six years. By then we will be in the secondary school."

"OK, then."

He nodded to me and immediately I turned away and picked up a 100kg weight and began doing pistol squats, mixing lunges within.

For a few months now this system was much more useful, upgrading once more but only having the antigravity settings and an illusion. For now, I was quite satisfied.

Beginning my workout, I took turns swapping with Wincu, ignoring the fact that the beauty still stood nearby just watching.

It was good and all that he stood there still, after all, I wanted to use him as a meat shield but… Zesteri will not appear, so this meat shield is useless.
