"Annalise," Mrs. Moreno said, coming to hug her. "You look gorgeous."

She pulled her into a hug and Annalise took comfort in her arms, her lips pulled in a smile.

"Thank you, you look amazing too." she complimented. Her mother-in-law was dressed in a beautiful black dress with bell sleeves.

Mrs. Moreno smiled at Nicolás, patting his arm before turning back to Annalise. It was subtle but Annalise had noticed that with Nicolás, unlike the way she was with the rest of his brothers, Mrs. Moreni didn't seem all close to him but then yet again, it was Nicolás, the only person in the world who seemed to be the closest to him was Greta.

"Come on," Mrs. Moreno said, pulling her by the arm. "I'll introduce you to some of my friends."

She glanced at Nicolás and he gave a small nod before being swept up in a conversation with some older men.
