19 Acclimatize

A/N: Hi I am back from my holidays. Hope that you all had a great time.

This chapter is just Dio getting used to being back on Earth. A bit on the side of ridiculousness yet something that anyone of us would do if we had superpowers with a spaceship.

I am thinking about doing a time skip let me know in the comments section if it would it help the story or not.

Acclimatize

After another 5 minutes.

The ship had landed on earth the Martians were now aware about the political situation, social situation & the cultural situation and all the basic requirements that are needed for a person not to feel out of place on a new planet.

It wasn't much but when you have like a personal AI connected to the internet.You can get almost anything that you want, any type of information that you want without letting the native government people tag you.

What is going on in the world?

But right now I was enjoying the whole experience of coming back home.

After leaving the Martians on an uninhabited island and the giant ship with them with supplies.

I took my own personal spaceship and flew all over the planet.

I as I flew over the continents I got the news on my screen that Superman had been active in metropolis since the past 5 years publicly and 6 if you consider the fact that he that he had been helping out people without actually disclosing his identity like a trial run.

With one major incident where he revealed himself to the world and made people realise that they were not alone in the universe.

A young girl fell from her 12 storey building and was caught by Superman and later on she drew a picture of him flying around.

People began looking for incidents which were impossible to prevent yet people actually survived.

Stories and legends until Superman finally revealed himself and gave an interview to Lois Lane.

Following that people started noticing a man flying in the air without any kind of plane just by himself without any support.

Not everyone was happy to see a superhuman among them but soon they warmed up to him.

His honesty his goodness was something they could not ignore or criticize.

Superman's interview had become one of Daily Planet best selling articles that has ever been written.

Although they had been incidents nothing that could not have been overcome.

There were other alien incidents where creatures from different dimensions came up and try to cause a mess but Superman had prevented them.

In one situation they had been even a dinosaur which has been frozen in the Antarctic which came back to life and terrorized everybody which he had proceeded to freeze right in the middle of the street and bring it back for the scientists to study.

Similarly Lex Luthor had also become more and more famous earlier he was known for his ruthless practices in business but now he was also being known for his singular obsession of Superman.

Surprisingly there wasn't a Gotham city in this dimension.

I tried looking for it and even searched for Star City and that made me feel quite out of loop.

Where were the other heroes?

But that was all for later.

For now I was enjoying coming back the air the water the earth the fire the deserts, the penguins in Antarctica and the kangaroo in Australia everything was so much beautiful. In my previous life I wished I could visit them but here I was watching a kangaroo jump in real life not on TV but by really being there and sitting next to penguins close enough that I could actually touch them.

My spacesuit was shielding me from the worst of the effects of the planet and slowly and steadily I was reducing the environmental shielding so that I didn't get overwhelmed with the various sights, sounds and everything it was a slow process but it was something to be done properly I couldn't expose myself yet.

In the movies the aliens simply got their bearing in every environment easily in a matter of seconds or minutes.

Superman had years for this while Zod was a millitary genius I was neither.

The transition of my body was happening in real time changing bit by bit and in a controlled fashion.

I could tell when my body was become stronger or weaker based on the reading on the screen.

Pathogens and other viral diseases were still a possibility.

At the same time my AI was busy creating an identity for me which would help me integrate seamlessly and establish myself.

Since I was still quite young around I would have many issues.

I needed to go to school regardless of whether I wanted to or not as it would be one of the ways of establishing an identity most people can search your birth certificate but ask a nurse if she remembered a newborn was ridiculous your kindergarten photos could also be faked but your high School was something you could not avoid scrutiny if someone does a background check they usually don't go to to go to the hospital and ask did you see the child being born here or go to the kindergarten teacher and ask did she teach this child or even ask the children who were in the who were in kindergarten that did you play with this kid now that doesn't happen but high school, college these are the places where people remember even if they don't want to remember they would know about the person whom they might have seen even if it was a glimpse.

People have records official and unofficial the photos and their experiences not something that you can actually study or get something like a joke only known among classmates.

Things like that, the small little things it shows that ok I have studied in this school I know about it but for that you have to have to put in the time be there both physically and mentally regardless of how intelligent you are you are you need to interact with others for establishing that you belong there you have a presence people know you, people are aware of you and that's what I was going to do. Additionally it would help me regulate my strength and speed so that I could easily pass of as one of them.

It was a complicated process the bots ensure that my preschool kindergarten and birth certificate where authentic their corresponding files in the corresponding folders which had been arranged property to not look any different from any other files my photos were present in the kindergarten events where I had been Photoshopped inside there teachers whose names there were one or two teachers names whom I was required to remember to establish that I actually knew who they are and what they look like and what their quirks were it sounds unnecessary but when you have an AI doing everything for you all of this happens in a matter of minutes.

I enrolled myself in a school not far away from Smallville to keep an eye on the Kent family.

It was mostly so that I could watch my childhood hero.

It was later in the day I saw him appear on the porch of his house while I lying on my stomach in the field. He rung the doorbell and Martha Kent came out and he walked in to have dinner with his family.

I felt like I was stalking him but it was necessary.

I was gradually decreasing the spacesuit shielding and directly exposing myself to the elements was a surefire way to go test myself at the same time I was checking to see if he could detect me under camouflage.

Thankfully he couldn't or else I would have had to explain myself to him.

Similarly I couldn't just go near the sun directly I would die or be horribly injured I needed to build myself up bit by bit.

As Clark ate his dinner and went to his room to sleep.

I made my way to an abandoned location and fell asleep in my spaceship.

The next morning was peaceful.

Clark flew towards metropolis while I made my way to Paris and ate noodles while sitting at the very top of the Eiffel tower and later paying a short visit to the Leaning tower in Italy my feet at the edge dangling in the air while my ship parked nearby there is ridiculous feeling you get when looking down yet at the same time that if I slipped I couldn't get hurt.

Then I went to the Louvre museum and admired the paintings and visited all the wonders of the world in no particular order running on the Great Wall of China, touring museums in London, eating lunch in the garden of the White House, visiting Russia's St. Petersburg, swimming my way from the Atlantic Ocean to Pacific Ocean, flying up and diving in the Sahara desert, planting a small flag on top of mount Everest and free running my way down to the nearest shop and drinking some hot tea.

I was enjoying my suits abilities yet I knew that I could soon do it without the suit and I didn't want to get dependent upon it.

There were good things and bad things I wanted to remember them. I went to my original home there were different people there my mom and dad never met. I was sad and relieved.

At the same time I got notified that the new house was bought and I was registered as an orphan with an absentee guardian and I was even admitted to a school A.C Kelly's High School in Dodge City.

While going through school again was a pain in itself. But there was no denying the fact that I was definitely going to be bored yet it would be a good way to interact with people.

As I bought necessities and boarded a bus to my newly bought home I wondered how much stronger would I get just by being on Earth.

As my shielding reduced and my body became comfortable enough that I could physically collect my ticket to Dodge City. Thankfully there were no CCTV present to establish my sudden appearance.

As I sat at my window seat once the bus arrived.

I wondered when I would come face to face with Superman.
