2 Something Warm

a small village down the hill greeted me as i open my eyes, it was still dawn yet you could see the smokes coming out from the chimney of every houses.

"it seems the mothers of every household are busy preparing breakfast."sounds of flowing water at the reservoir, axe cutting firewood and farm animals could also be heard .

"The people here sure live a very simple and peaceful life huh.... Forget about that i should be focusing as to how i arrive here instead. where am i anyway?" scratching my head.

someone replied. "Your on another dimension."

an erupting volcano bringing along an earthquake swelled outside as i recall how the owner of that voice swallowed me wholly, my remaining peace turned to rage and lashed into frenzy as i saw that floating Holographic book appear before me.

"You!....Why did you bring me here!?"

"You asked me earlier why Ra send me to you right?"

"Yes i indeed asked you, did you answer me?, no! Instead you swallowed me!, is that even an answer?! no!."

"and what do you mean by another dimension?!" i freaked out.

"..." "This almighty Grim the Grimoire brought you here to test the trials set by Ra, You could only return after passing all the trials and retrieving the magical relics." ["I WON'T DO IT!"] "but fret not me the omnipotent Grimoire will help you... ... wait what did you just said? i think i misheard it."

"i said i won't do it!" the girl repeated it in a determined tone.

"Why!" i was shocked and didn't expect the young girl before me to reject me.

"I know what the old man is planning, so i won't do it, bring me back!" i observe the reaction of the book as it did not respond.

[the old man was right that girl is stubborn, she even dare to reject me..... I'll show you]

"you dare to reject me .... i leave you here alone and won't return."

"Hahhhhhh! haven't you heard me, i said i don't want to follow any orders from grandfather, return me back home!" i saw the book opened itself and fluttered its pages, i became worried when a circle of energy surrounded the holographic book.

"your really planning on leaving me here!?.....I won't let you!" I jumped on the holographic book as it try to concentrate the energy it gather towards itself, a barrier of energy prevented me from coming near it,i reached out my hands as i try to grab the book, small cuts appeared on my hands and body, i felt a sudden wave of heat on my stomach it spread through my body and healed my wounds, i concentrated that heat on my hand and negated the barrier of energy allowing me to grab the book

blood was still present at diana's hand by touching Grim it's holographic appearance changed as its true self materialize..

"The Grimoire of.... will now begin its owner recognition." I heard a system like voice in my head, but ignored it, i still want to go home. focusing all of my strength to my hands; i continued on grasping the book.

"trying to rule over the great me you must be kidding."the book released another barrier forcing me to let go of the book, my body blasted 20 meters away from the book.

The book glowed and disappeared. leaving Diana behind.

after seeing the book disappear she was not worried, instead a smiling face was attached on her face.

the warm energy she felt earlier returned and healed her body "this warm energy sure is useful."

Diana concentrated on healing as she wait for the upcoming surprise.
