"Hmmm ..., but which world should I start?"- Satria thought about it and he looked at the opened naruto fanfic on his phone.
'Naruto? But that world is too dangerous for someone weak like me. I have no clear identity in that world, I'd end up dead by a random genin once we got into a fight. Besides, it's not like any shinobi there would trade their jutsus for some mundane things from the earth. The hidden village privatized the jutsus and won't sell it no matter what to some no-name merchant.
He then began to think ..., of a world where he could gain power easily. He suddenly remembered a certain isekai webnovel.

Satria remembered a little bit about the story, he only know about the premise. A woman from modern Japan reincarnated into another world as a magic device craftsman's daughter. Her father engaged her to the son of his friend and apprentice, but after some time the man decided to put an end to the engagement because he found his 'true love'. That triggered the girl to stop hanging down her head anymore, which led to her meeting with ikemen knight. To be honest, it was quite interesting at first. However, he stopped reading because their interaction made his single heart boil with envy of how unrealistically nauseating it was.
"In that world, I can get some interesting products combining both technology and magic craftsmanship."
He thought about what to sell in that world for a minute. The technological level of that place is weird, they have the equivalent of electronic appliances like stoves, hairdryers, fans, and refrigerators, but they haven't yet discovered the internal combustion engine. Or electricity ..., as those tools are powered with magic stones.
'I wonder if they can make a generator from those magic stones. Speaking of which, where did those magic stones come from? Is it some kind of limited resource?'
After getting sidetracked for a bit, Satria began preparing on what to bring into that world.

The gate that materialized was the size of a regular door, with a starry pitch-black color and marble white frame. The door is floating around a half meter from the floor, there's a stair leading to this gate. This is really a work of magic.
He step into the gate and he felt a great shift in everything, the world around him changed. Even with just standing still he could feel the difference. It's not much but it's there, the feeling of being weighted by something.

That is ..., assuming the day in this world(planet) is still 24 hours.
He stood in the middle of a dirt road in the middle of a forestry region.

Satria summoned the Griffon and a majestic-looking creature with a strange but mystical appearance. Body, rear limb, and tail of a big cat, but the head and front limb of an owl complete with a pair of wings on its back. The fur/feather of the griffon is whitish-grey, the eyes strangely similar to that of a cat with its vertical slit. It curiously stared at him with a gaze full of expectation(?)
He stretched out his hand and tried to pet its round owlish head. The owl-lion hybrid stood tall at almost 2 m, but she gently lowered her head and rubbed it on Satria's palm. Feeling the furry and soft cushiony feeling, Satria lost in this fluffiness for a minute.
"Okayy ..., your name will be Merlyn." he named her after the magic man of king Arthur, Merlin, the female version of that name.
"Let's see ..., how did I get up on top of you, ooh ..." when he was contemplating on how to ride this creature, Merlyn picked his collar with her beak and put him into her back.
This might be the first time Satria mounted a creature, and it's an owl lion with wings at that. He patted her neck to start moving, trying to get used to the movement. But honestly, it's not that different from when he rides his motorcycle. The difference is that he won't have to pull the gas and handle the countersteer. Satria spends the next 15 minutes familiarizing himself with the sensation of riding her.
A griffon can't fly directly from the ground, its body mass with wingspan proportion prevented it from doing that. However, it can glide in the air while maintaining its altitude by flocking it's wing. He decided to try this by climbing into a tree and then started gliding. He hold her nape, almost hugging her neck tightly when she started to take off.
"Yeahhh baby ..., I ride a fucking flying owl-lion!?" Satria shouted with delirium after overcoming his initial fear and started laughing with such unbridled passion. "This is something else."
When he was up in the air, he could see the surroundings more clearer than before. From this height, he could see the town in the distance.
When Satria was around halfway reaching the town, he got a system prompt.

He click the close button and landed nearby the knight. Sensing his presence from a mile away, the knight has already drawn his sword pointing at him. Ready to engage if he dared to do something funny.
"I've come in peace ..., lower your sword, knight!" said Satria with a calm voice, a fight isn't something he wants to happen at this moment.
"Like in hell I'd believe that. Who are you? And what's this ..., creature?"
"Sigh ..., alright, I'm Dimas, a traveling merchant from the Kingdom of Atlantis. And she's Merlyn, my mount. Please lower your sword!" Satria spurted a fake name and fake place in his introduction.
The bloodied knight sheathed back his sword warily and said. "I see a peddler from faraway lands, huh? I'm a Knight of the Demon Crusader Squad, Wolfred Scalfarotto."
When he heard the name, Satria immediately thought about the identity of this man. 'Wolf huh ..., isn't he the male MC? Wait a minute, I changed the plot of the story. The female MC should be the one who saves him, and then after that, they'll talk and find some common ground between them. And after that, they frequently talked to each other and that's how it all started.'
Satria thought about it for a while but then sighed and decided not to think about it. 'In the first place, my goal is to gain system Gold. Why should I care about the story that should've happened in this world? So what if I changed the plot, it's not like the world will end because of this, right?'

"I can't say it's common, her species is still a rare beast there." Satria looked at him and then said, "so what would you say, need a lift?"

Satria nodded and then mounted the griffon, he patted her neck and said. "Merlyn ..."
"Hooott hooot!" the owl-faced-bird-cat let out a wavering shriek, as she turned her head 180 degrees toward him.
She looked displeased, and for somehow Satria understood what she wanted to convey.
"Hmmm? What do you mean you won't do it?"
"Hoottt hoooottt ..." the owl-lion answered.
"Well, suit yourself." Merlyn squealed happily and then flocked her wings. She flew for a sec and then grabbed Wolf body with her front limbs. "Mr. Knight ..., whatever she's going to do with you, please don't resist."
"Wha-waaa!!!" the knight Wolf didn't have enough time to register his warning because Merlyn already grabbed him.
The avian-like claw gripped Wolf's armor, after that, the griffon started galloping toward the nearby tree and then jumped on one of it. Before she began gliding across the trees and gained some altitude.
