5 Ch. 5

"Who are you?" Akeno asks the man in front of her while having her guard up against him.

"My name is Azazel, and please no need to be cautious I'm just a passing hunk." Azazel raised both of his hands while shaking his head.

"Azazel? The governor of fallen angels?" Akeno asks while the image of her father appeared on her mind.

"Ah, I didn't think I'd be that famous." Azazel chuckled before continuing, "Are you perhaps a fallen angel?"

Raising her guard up she asked, "How did you know?".

"Well there's always this feeling whenever I'm near one of my kind." Azazel explained.

"That's convenient." Akeno said before continuing, "Do you perhaps know someone from your race, his name is Baraqiel?" (Is it Barakiel or Baraqiel?)

"Oh? Yes, he's one of my cadre's." Azazel spoke while deeply thinking about something.

"Wait are you perhaps Akeno Himejima." Azazel suddenly asks the girl in front of him.

"Yes." Akeno nodded.

"Ah I see, your father Baraqiel was worried about you." Azazel said.

"What does he know? He wasn't there when we needed him." Akeno muttered but was still heard by Azazel. Although she was extremely angry at him, her master adviced her to let go of her grudges and she should ask her father herself on why he was gone on that day.

"Where is he? Can I meet him?" Akeno asks, she decided to ask her father about where he is during that day.

That day that still haunts her in her dream.

(3 Years ago)

"Kill them!"

"Kill them!"

"Kill the both of them!"

Outside a shrine tens of japanese womens and mens are gathering while carrying torches while some are holding a talisman.

Meanwhile, a man walked up to the fronr and shouted, "They should not live in our territory! That bitch Shuri has mated with a fallen angel and gave birth to an abomination."

"Uraahh!"

"Death to the fallen angel abomination!"

Meanwhile, the man seeing this smirk proudly and shouted again, "Men and women! Tonight! We dine in hell!" Hearing what he said the mens and womens stopped shouting and stared at him weirdly. Seeing this tha man sweated and shouted again, "Tonight! We dine in heaven!" Then the shouts resumed.

Meanwhile inside the shrine a mother and daughter pair are sitting at the corner while the mother is holding her daughter with care and love.

"K-kaa-san what's going on? Why is it so loud outside?" The daughter who is Akeno asked her mother Shuri with an innocent expression.

Meanwhile the mother didn't answer her and kept looking around. A few minutes later, as if she found what she was looking for she turned her head to her daughter Akeno and said, "it's nothing baby, can you please do what mommy says and climb over that window. And I want you to run and don't look back."

Akeno, who was already suspicious of what is happening outside, she asked her mother, "Kaa-san, is it them again? It's because of father right?" Tears are dropping from her eyes while speaking.

Akeno then said, "It's okay! I-I'm sure father will come and save us right?" She was a little hopeful that her father will come and save her and her mother.

But alas, that remaining hope of hers was instantly broken.

*boom*

The door was blasted open and a middle age man entered and upon seeing them, he smirks and shouted back, "They're here!".

As if on cue, Shuri immediately grab a nearby whip which she's using on a certain 'someone'.

*Whooosshh* *Kachak* *Splat*

"Arrrrggghhh!!" The man shouted and pain while holding his crotch.

"Akeno go now!" Shuri yelled her daughter who instantly run towards the small window.

"Where are ya goin' you brat!" A hand immediately grabbed her hair while Akeno shouted in pain.

"No! Akeno!" Seeing her daughter hurt, Shuri tried to run towards her.

Meanwhile, the man seeing that Shuri is distracted, he immediately stood up and grabbed Shuri's hair and pulled her back.

"Stop running you bitch!" The man raised his hand to slap Shuri but a shout was heard across the room.

"Yameteee!!(Stop)!" (I feel like yamete is more suitable to read here in this situation.) Akeno's voice was heard when suddenly a lightning struck him right in his chest penetrating through his back.

Meanwhile the man who was holding Akeno earlier was seen on the ground twitching.

Akeno after she shouted, lost conciousness. Shuri who saw everything run towards her and immediately carried her and dashed towards the back door, hoping there's no enemy at the back.

But it seems as if fate was against them, when she opened the door, she saw her clansmen shouting and pointing towards her before running towards her position.

"Oh no." Shuri looked at them in horror before running towards the forest.

"She's there!"

"Go after her!"

Footsteps was heard through the forest along with a panting Shuri carrying her child.

Looking back, she saw her clansmen finally found her and is now running towards her.

Seeing no chance to escape she caressed her daughter's cheek before kissing her at her forehead, then said "I'm sorry for being unable to protect you. I'm sorry you can't fulfill the dreams that you've always wanted to reach." Shuri cried.

If there is anyone out there who could help her daughter, she'll be in deep debt to him/her even if she'll be dying.

"Please help us." Shuri muttered, because of running and everything that happened she feel sleepy.

But before she lost conciousness she heard a voice, "No need to worry. It is fine now. Why? Because I'm here!" She then lost conciousness but not before hoping that the voice she heard will atleast save her daughter.

(Ancient One/Xyrus PoV 3 years ago)

"No need to worry. It is fine now. Why? Because I'm here!" I told the woman in front of me who lost conciousness.

I sighed, "Yare Yare, and here I was just walking around when I sense a huge amount holy energy being released here." I the conjured a portal beneath the both of them, dropping them inside the medical hall back in thr sanctum.

After doing that, I turned around and saw the clansmen looking at me with fear.

Meanwhile one of them gathered courage and spoke while turning his finger at me, "Y-you! Do you know what you've done sorcerer! Do you want to have war with shinto faction! I bet the Sorcerer Supreme will be shocked by this revelation!" After speaking the others finally gained courage to speak and started dissing me.

As for me? I just sighed before opening a huge portal beneath all of them and threw them in one of my dimensions called Loop Dimension where they will continuously fall like what Dr. Strange did to loki.

Conjuring another portal but this time inside the medical halls.

Seeing the mother and daughter duo sleeping soundly at the beds, I sighed before conjuring a portal to Genesis.

(Back to the present) (3rd PoV)

Meanwhile Akeno portaled back to her room where she saw her mother meditating.

"Mom." Akeno called her mother.

Opening her eyes, the first thing she saw is her daughter standing in front of her.

"What is it Akeno-chan?" She ask.

"I met someone today." Akeno said while fidgeting.

Shuri, seeing her daughter fidgeting she held her hand and ask worriedly, "What wrong Akeno-chan?"

"I just met father's colleague" Akeno said.

Hearing her daughter's words, she smiled warmly, and said, "You wanted to meet your father don't you?".

"I-" Akeno's words was stuck on her throat, she didn't want to admit it but she missed her father, although she's mad at him, she knew there must be a reason why he was missing that day.

"Take your time, when you're ready we'll meet him." Shuri who saw her daughter's hesitation comforted her.

Akeno then hugged her mother, she was really thankful that her master was there that day.
