Breaking the speed of sound, Shang-Chi appeared behind Akeno with his fist a few centimeters away from Akeno's face.
*gasp*
Akeno was shocked when she saw a fist appearing in front of her eyes.
*Booom*
Akeno was thrown away like a cannonball. While Shang-Chi smirks at this.
When the dust settles, Akeno pushed herself out of the rubbles.
Blood trickled from Akeno's forehead and her nose but if you look closely at her face, you can see a blush spreading through her face.
Shang-Chi was a bit weirded about this but he ignored it and disappears and appear behind Akeno and delivered a roundhouse kick.
Akeno just smiled and dodge the incoming kick, she was just distracted earlier so that's why Shang-Chi could punch her, but this time she is ready.
Once she dodged, she counters attacked by holding his ankle and delivering lightning imbued kick towards his chin.
Shang-Chi was already expecting this so he blocked Akeno's kick with his left palm and jumped with his remaining leg.
Once he is in the air, he used his remaining leg and kicked Akeno forcing her to release his leg and dodge the kick. All of this just happened in 5 seconds.
Once dodged, Akeno wiped her blood on her nose and lightning trickled around her.
Shang-Chi was already ready for this, Godspeed is one of Akeno's signature techniques.
*Zap*
Akeno disappeared in a lightning Flash and appeared in front of Shang-Chi
Shang-Chi was ready for this so they both exchanged blows after blows slowly destroying their surroundings.
5 minutes later, Akeno's lightning intensified, and shot a bolt of lightning toward Shang-Chi who was surprised and unable to dodge in time making the bolt hit him on his chest.

Shang-Chi was thrown back until he hits a mountain, stopping his momentum.
"Gaah!!" Shang-Chi coughed out blood while he felt his chest burning in pain.
When he looked down, he saw his chest scorched and his flesh burning.
Shang-Chi used a technique taught to him by his master, Feng that slowly healed his injuries.
But this technique not only consumes mana but also consumes stamina.
But before he could fully heal, he was pushed by a strong force throwing him back more while also destroying the mountain.
Once his body touched the ground while being thrown back, his body rolled through the ground destroying some trees in the process before stopping.
He tried to stand up but his palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy.
Not only that, his mana is depleted leaving him with his remaining stamina.

Footsteps are slowly making their way towards him so he raised his head in lain and saw Akeno walking towards him while blushing.
"Ara Ara, you lost again Chi-chan," Akeno said while crouching in front of Shang-Chi.
Shang-Chi just raise his head and chuckled, "Do you not hold back?"
"Well, the same could be said to you, your punch earlier really hurts me, what kind of a man hits a woman." Akeno pouted.
"Haha, Master taught me Gender Equality," Shang-Chi replied.
Akeno just ignored him and raised her hand forward and said, "Let's go, our masters must have been waiting for us."
Shang-Chi looked at her hand for a moment before painfully grabbing it with his left hand while Akeno helped him stand up.
Akeno put her left arm over her shoulder and assists him in walking back to their hut where their master stayed.
Meanwhile, inside a small hut, Xyrus was having a chat with Feng.
"Have you found any other student aside from Shang?" Xyrus asks Feng while sipping his tea.
Feng replied, "Not yet master, Shang-Chi is the only one who could be my possible successor besides my son Duy."
Xyrus just silently nodded and soon enough they heard footsteps outside the hut so they went outside and saw a badly injured body of Shang-Chi being dragged by Akeno.
When Feng saw this, he rushed and used a healing technique by making his hands glow green.
Xyrus just calmly smiled at this and said to Akeno, "You're improving faster than I thought."
Akeno happily smiled at this and replied, " It's because of your teachings master." Akeno tried to be humble but deep inside she was very excited that she improved so fast that it was unexpected even for her master.
"No need to be humble, Akeno," Xyrus said before walking towards Feng who was in the middle of healing Shang-Chi.
As for Shang-Chi although he was being healed by Feng, healing is not Feng's specialty so they were still some wounds that have yet to be healed due to how deep the wound was, so he went and healed Shang-Chi immediately while also restoring some of his stamina.
Once he healed, both Feng and Shang-Chi bowed and thanked Xyrus for his help.
Xyrus just smiled and spoke, "We'll continue your training tomorrow, you both should get some rest."
Both of them nodded and left to return to their rooms while Feng just bowed slightly before going on his way.
Xyrus then went to [Genesis] And step by step walked inside his Lab where countless figures that looked like a human was standing still on both sides all wearing armor, these figures are the homunculus that he created that is very close to a human being.
This is his laboratory where he conducts experiments to create Life.
He may have been experimenting but he didn't blindly experiment on living bodies, like a certain pedomaru.
Though he admits he did experiments on living bodies a bit but he has their permission to experiment on them.
And since studying Leonardo and Valerie's sacred gear, he manage to have a breakthrough in his experiments and now he is about to create Life for the first time.
Once he is inside, he went to one of the incubators where a body resides inside.
He has already created the flesh suitable for his first Living creation.
He first inserted his mana inside the incubator to activate the machine. The said Incubator helps to preserve the body to Its top condition and not only that it also helps to scan the body if ever there is something wrong.
Though he could do it himself, he will be busy creating the soul and as much as he likes to have someone to help him, he doesn't trust anybody except himself.
Once activated, he went into the middle of the room, and there you can see a box-shaped object with different colors glowing through its outlines.
This is his self-created system, that he created by studying the heaven system. It's much weaker compared to the real deal but at least it has the function to create souls with his assistance.
So he sat in front of it in a meditative position and closed his eyes to feel the connection with the system.
When he closed his eyes, he could feel different energy floating around him, ready to be absorbed but that is not his purpose today, so he focused more and saw a faint line floating around the system.
So he grabbed it and slowly but surely connect it in his soul.
Once connected he could feel something inside his soul, countless words slowly transforming themselves into numbers.
There is a saying back in his world that the numbers are their closest language to Gods, though he knew that It's real, a 100% real.
