As soon as the Bat-God said that, Xyrus could feel a huge amount of force invading his mind and penetrated through all of his defences.

Luckily, his mind stone shone in light and the force stopped, much to the Bat-God's shock and amusement.

"Oh hoh hoh, what is this?" The Bat-God smiled, noticing the Infinity Stones on his glove.

"May I borrow that?" The Bat-God asked, however his body goes against what he just said as he destroyed all of the fool-proof runes that he attached on his glove in order to make sure that no one would be able to steal it from him.

"What a beautiful set of stones. Now, where are the other ones?" The Bat-God eyed the stones and marveled at them before asking Xyrus.

"Taking something that isn't yours is a bad thing." Xyrus didn't take him seriously, so he casually said.

The Bat-God stopped eyeing the gloves and stared at Xyrus as if he was some kind of idiot.

"Are you playing with me, mortal? You know what, I could have this, so you can go now and die." The Bat-God said and snapped his fingers.

Xyrus suddenly felt something inside his soul, slowly vanishing from existence.

However, before it could fully vanish, something unexpected suddenly happened the as Tome of the Chosen One suddenly came out of his space, emitting bright light that shoned the entire dark space while also blinding the Bat-God, except for Xyrus.

Before the Bat-God could react, the Tome suddenly emitted intense light that focused solely on the Bat-God, scorching his entire being.

"W-what is this? No!" The Bat-God was both shocked and afraid as this was the first time he felt pain and since it was his first time, he felt like he was living in hell.

"S-stop! No!" Slowly but surely, his entire being was being burned and that includes his soul as Xyrus could feel it.

When the Bat-God laid his eyes on Xyrus, he assumed that if he killed Xyrus, then this would stop, so he immediately stretched out his hand towards and cursed.

"I curse you! I curse you to die!" A huge black coloured beam suddenly pulsed from his fingertips that immediately rushed towards Xyrus.

Xyrus's eyes widened, he could feel his guts telling him that once he was touched by this beam, then he would be erased from existence.

Unfortunately, the beam was so fast that it exceeded the speed of light, so Xyrus was left defenceless and his whole shoulder was penetrated by the beam.

Xyrus could feel his whole strength rapidly losing and his soul was vanishing in fast speeds.

'No, I- I haven't had my revenge yet.' Xyrus's slowly closed his eyes and before darkness consumes him, the last image that he has in his mind is the smiling face of his mom.

'Mom.' Xyrus shed a tear as he was finally consumed by the darkness and the last thing he heard was Alfred's worried voice.

[Sensei! Sensei! Initiating Emergency Protoc-]

Suddenly, Xyrus woke up in a white space.

All of his clothes and wearings are gone. When Xyrus saw all of this, he tried to use magic to conjure himself a cloth but noticed that he can't do any magic here.

Xyrus gulped in nervousness as he could also feel that his strength is now back to normal, meaning, he's like a normal human now.

"W-what's going on?" Xyrus said outloud as he looked around and saw no one but himself.

"You are dead, my boy."

Suddenly, he heard a voice that is neither man or woman, it's sounds like a robot but minus the robotic accent.

"Dead?" Xyrus frowned, why is this man/woman speaking as if his death is something so casual.

"Who are you? Where am I? What do you mean I'm dead?" Since he already found someone to ask to, Xyrus barraged the voice with questions.

"Hold on, little guy, only one questions at a time." The voice put a stop at his barrage of questions.

"For your first question, I think you would be a bit familiar to me, you can call me The Heavenly System." As soon as his words fell, Xyrus's mouth was open wide.

"Really? I thought you are some kind of system like a machine of some sort." Xyrus scratched the back of his head as his previous brave persona was thrown out of the window.

"Hmm, you are both right and wrong. I'm indeed not a machine but that's because I have no form." The Heavenly System said as Xyrus nodded his head.

"So, you're a soul?" Xyrus made a guess.

"Nope. The entirety of the Multiverse is my soul." THS which is short of The Heavenly System, said to him.

"Alright. So, what's going on here? I know that I died but, is that it? Is that the end of my journey?" Xyrus looked down as he was very pissed with himself, he should have known that he would offend someone strong, he just didn't think it would be so soon and sudden.

"No, you are wrong. This is just the start of your journey. I called you here because I sensed your soul being erased, so I brought your soul here while the Tome would be left to deal with that Bat." THS said.

"Does that mean I'll be resurrected?" Xyrus's hope has risen as he eagerly asked THS.

"Yes, but I'll not be the one to resurrect you. But yourself." At the first sentence, Xyrus was confused by when THS finished his words, Xyrus fell into deep thought.

"How am I supposed to do that?" Xyrus asked.

"By this." As soon as he said that, a red flash appeared and a similar coloured liquid appeared in front of his vision.

Just when Xyrus was about to ask about the liquid, the said liquid suddenly moved and attached to him like a certain symbiote while his body absorbs the liquid without permission.

"What was that?"

"Worry not, it is one of the fundamentals of the multiverse, The Reality Stone." THS said shocking Xyrus greatly.
