25 [Not A Chapter] Clarification On WHY I WROTE This FANFIC

First of all, this is not a chapter. It's more of a rant.

Second of all, I got a comment from a reader who mentioned that this novel is slow and becoming filler-like (From his words, I'm more on telling and not showing) {If he is reading this, then meh, I don't care}.

Psh! As if it was that easy to write. It's easy to read since even kids can do it, but write, bruh I won't tell you to write a fanfic or anything, but don't just assume it's that easy.

Like I said before, it's so fucking hard to write a slice of life scene. I won't further elaborate this since I already ranted about this in the previous [Not A Chapter] author's note.

Get this on your head. Just because your two eyes can see the flaws in my novel and think you can do better than it and is like "Oh the author is grammatically incorrect. His pacing isn't done right, he should have done this and that."

That's because you already have something built that you can criticize. It's a lot easier than writing from scratch. If I were to make an analogy, it's a lot easier to renovate a house than to build it from scratch. Since you already have an existing house to renovate.

You can criticize all you want and you might become a great critic or great insulter, but that doesn't make you the best author. Put yourself in that person's shoes if you want to criticize him. Be the bigger man and don't become a narrow-minded idiot.

Also, I am well aware of the slow pacing of this fanfic. But then you would ask, "Author, if you know it, why write it that way? Can't you just write it fast so that we can get to the good part like the chat group and action?"

If you asked why, then I'll reply, "Sorry to burst your bubble, but this fanfic is more of a slice of life regarding Sairyoku and Tsukasa's newlywed life. Not some power fantasy where he becomes OP as shit and forgets his wife as he travels to other worlds."

Do you know why I added the chat group? No, it's not due to clickbait or attracting the fandom of those I included in the chat group. Cuz bruh, if I really wanted to, I would have added chat group members from popular fandoms like Naruto, One Piece, DXD, Marvel, DC, Fate series, etc., if I really wanted to write a chat group for the sake of making my fanfic popular.

But no! I added two Chinese guys from a Chinese comic (manhua), a pushover guy from a fandom that doesn't have any fanfic here or if it has, barely had any (Welcome to demon school Iruma-kun), and a siscon from underrated anime (Charlotte). The only one who is from a popular fandom is Subaru from Re Zero but even then, there aren't that many fanfics about that fandom here.

So NO, I didn't add the chat group just because I wanted to attract the fanbase of those popular fandoms. I added those because I am a fan of those fandoms. After all, that's the real purpose of writing a fanfic.

Some of you seem to have forgotten the true meaning of a fanfic. It's a fiction written by a fan of a certain fandom.

So to those who expected this fanfic to be a masterpiece, then you guys might as well drop this fanfic. Go ahead, I don't mind it.

Why? Because I wrote this fanfic just because I want to. I enjoy writing it. Hence, even if no one reads this fanfic, I don't care much since I already had such expectations when I started writing this.

After all, there isn't any Tonikaku Kawaii fanfic in Webnovel. When I wrote this at the start, I already expected this to not do well since the ones dominating the fanfic category of Webnovel are from popular fandoms.

So I wasn't lying when I mentioned that I underestimated you guys. You dear readers of mine have exceeded my expectations.

And do you know why I am so confident that I won't drop this? Heh! That's because I love writing this fanfic. Even if all of you drop the fanfic right now, I'll still continue updating this.

This is a wishfulfillment fanfic. Not a masterpiece fanfic unlike those in the top rankings. Or not a fanfic written by a fanfic author who wants to farm money from their fanfic in Patreon.

Nah bro. I have other jobs in real life. The money I earned in Patreon is used to buy physical manga copies to support the original authors. I have already bought volume 1 and 2 of Tonikaku Kawaii manga on Amazon and I'll show it to you guys after I receive it.

When the money in Patreon exceeds the expenditures for supporting the original authors of the fandom I wrote, I'll then buy more copies for giveaways. If that still isn't enough, I'll spend the rest of the money to donate to charity.

Anyways, I have other jobs IRL where I can make money legally. Fanfic is more of a grey area so I'd rather not touch this money and spend it for myself. So I'd rather use it to support the original author or for a good cause. (You might say its empty talk, but when my Patreon has enough money, I'll show it to you guys as I'll start an Instagram about this.) I don't mind showing proof after the manga I bought on Amazon gets delivered to me.

That's why I didn't plan to add smut or sex in my fanfic. I know most original authors get triggered by it and I'd rather not piss them off in that regard.

This fanfic exists as a pure fanfic written by a true fan who wants to support the original author and the fandom.

So yeah, I didn't write this fanfic to create a masterpiece or earn money. I wrote this because I want to.

Therefore, unless I die or become ill, I won't drop this fanfic. No matter how much those haters hate my novel or how much those critics kept on roasting my fanfic, I won't drop this fanfic.

Anyway, no offense to those critics. You guys might criticize, but that doesn't mean I have to listen to it. I do what I want to do.

Most fanfic authors want to please their readers and write to the whims of the readers. But because of that, their fanfic becomes chaotic since not all readers are of the same mind. Like those who gave me powerstones, they like my fanfic and want more of it. But there are other readers who just read this to pass time and so, when they find a mistake, they demand the author to fix it.

I beg your pardon? You are not the boss of me. This is not a Webnovel contracted original novel where you can boss around the author to do what you want since you pay for it. You might feel entitled to do that since that's the contracted author's job to write the novel well.

But in my case, this fanfic ain't my job and it ain't my obligation and responsibility. So I am not obligated to listen to you entitled readers.

If I want to, I can drop this fanfic right here and now and no one can stop me. Since like those haters who can only hide behind their anonymity in the internet, I am also the same so I can just log out from this account and turn a dear ear to your insults and complaints.

But I don't want to do that since I still have made a deal with my good and loyal readers of mine. Since I promised you guys to not drop this fanfic as well as to give daily release, then I'll keep my word.

Anyway, those who don't like my fanfic are only the minority so I'll just treat them as if they are just a bunch of background characters.

Also, most fanfic authors who get fed up with being a "yes-man" to the whim of their readers end up like that. And you know what? Those entitled motherfuckers would say "It's that author's fault for not being strong enough to handle hate and criticism."

So what? If a murderer kills a victim, do you blame a victim for being too weak to defend themselves? Fanfic authors or authors in general are humans too.

Don't expect that they are your therapist or someone you can vent your frustrations on. They aren't paid or obligated to put up with your bullshit. Go seek professional help instead.

With that being said, I hope you guys can know the viewpoint of a fanfic author or an author in general.

Don't be surprised that some of them drop their fanfics since in the end, it's also the fault of the black sheep among you that caused those fanfic authors to be fed up with their fanfic and dropped it as a result.

In my case, I'm used to encountering this shit. I just want to rant since I also want those good readers to know how a HUMAN fanfic author would feel if they experienced this.

To those who read everything in this rant of mine, just know that I won't drop this.

Thanks to those who post "Thanks for the chapter" since it lets me know that you guys enjoyed the chapters I post daily.

Anyways, see you tomorrow since I'll continue the daily updates as usual.
