16 Organic Crops
Crop production was one of the major aspects of a farm. Being able to expand their crop yield and take the fields with them would give them opportunities others didn't have. It was hard work growing crops out in such a remote region. They had to work harder than most since this wasn't a fertile valley.
None of that would matter anymore. The system was a total game changer. Now they could become successful farmers and master merchants almost effortlessly. Heck if they wanted to pack up the entire house and take the farm with them they could.
The longest journeys often begin with a single step. He would have to absorb enough types of crops to unlock the Farming subroutine so he could begin his journey. Zanir would take these basic crops to new heights.
Without further ado he took in the produce as the system chirped out notification after notification.

[The Farming subroutine handles the absorption and growth of crop materials. This particular subroutine will analyze and catalog the crop materials automatically for the Host. Reactivation of Farming subroutine has unlocked the spatial farm.]
[Upon reactivation the subroutine can grow crops in the world's spatial farm. They will be treated by the system to remove contaminants and ensure optimal conditions and nutrient levels. The crops will be upgraded and adjusted according to further samples and species collected.]
With the farming routine active Zanir could now grow crops for energy or sell them for profit. He saw that he even had the option to upgrade them into magic crops! It was beyond his price range right now but definitely something to keep in mind for future development.
Explaining the new system to his parents they decided to head back into the world space. Seeing the changes and reactions was amazing. All of them had gone out to gather something and now they would be able to see fruits of their labor.
The first thing they noticed was that the world itself had gotten larger. The expansion could be attributed to the new farm area. There was a beautiful red barn with a large wooden silo next to it. Next to that there were several fields that looked rich and fertile. The crops he'd absorbed earlier were planted in those fields. It looked almost comical with only a handful of crops planted on such a big field.
That wasn't the only new addition to the world. There was now a small grove farther off into the distance. Secluded by a few shady trees it gave off a gentle peaceful vibe. An even smaller clearing within the center revealed a curious scene. There were several trees that had been grown into the shape of common household objects.
A large flat tree in the center took the place of a table. Centered around the table were several trees that were grown into the shape of chairs. There were even a few trees off to the sides that looked like they had grown into cabinets and drawers of varying sizes. Zanir saw the tomes and scrolls he'd collected placed inside one of the them.
'Was the system influenced by the pendant?'
After consulting his mother and the system Zanir concluded that the system chose to emulate a druid's glade when creating his magic area. It had the most understanding of the nature element affinity due to studying the pendant. Also the system already had the ability to manipulate the earth and trees so it was the most efficient construction choice. He'd ask Reed for some advice the next time he saw him.
He didn't see the potion in the grove area with the rest of the magic items. A quick search revealed that it was actually added onto the water pagoda. The area had changed slightly. The water in the fountain was even clearer and more tempting since he had absorbed stream water. There was now a second smaller fountain located beside the main fountain.
This fountain was just a simple hand pump style. There was a small sign on the fountain that said 'Under Construction'. Zanir confirmed through the system that this was where the mana potion would come from. He would be able to pump out a limited quantity each day, once it was complete.
With the review complete they decided to plant a few crops and call it a day. It was getting late so everyone decided to head back after finishing up. It had been a long productive day. Zanir and his parents were all curious to see how much the crops would turn out tomorrow.
