46 *Side Chapter* Senior Lee's POV

This kid's sitting on a gold mine. Dimensional magic he said. I was stunned at first, to even try to comprehend how significant this is. Zanir doesn't even realize it, but he's already taken the first steps to his own country.

Normally physical space limitations and competitions for resources impede the advancement of civilization. History taught us, that only by improving our living conditions and technology, can we liberate ourselves from the endless cycle of pointless war.

However, this space is a totally different dimension. I've studied the minerals as they reformed, watched as the animals were condensed from a mist. Crops that sprout out the ground itself, it's enough to drive a learned man insane.

The others are quick to just accept these abnormal occurrences, as they occur, without even questioning the how, or the why. Even the air here is different, my joints don't ache like they used to, I can think clearer. It's good, that he's a kind man.

I would shudder to think, what would happen if these powers fell into the hands of a tyrant or maniac. To this end, I must do my utmost, to educate this young man and help him. He could conquer and enslave entire nations if he wanted to, yet for now, he's content.

It's a good thing that I know of several nearby areas, that we could claim for ourselves. The nearby burrows are filled with monsters and treasures, which can help us quickly consolidate more power. Or perhaps we could visit the nearby Bosmor swamplands, they have many rare herbs and lizardmen.

Sprawling out a sheet of drawing canvas, senior Lee began painting a map of the nearby regions, making sure to mark down areas of interest. Having been a former schoolteacher, he had committed the geography to memory.

Before long, there were several maps of the nearby inland areas, along with the coast and nearby islands. Although partial, the maps would be incredibly valuable to Zanir, who knew almost nothing of the surrounding lands.

Especially the marked areas, where there were powerful monsters or treasure. Adventuring blindly was fun but having a goal would allow them to advance quickly. As the maps were completed and pinned up, they shimmered for a moment, reacting to the system in some way.

Meanwhile, in the world of Norantal.

Zanir was marching down the city streets of Trostin, with his animals behind him, when an unexpected system announcement went off.
