1 The Supremes

In the underground of the Land of Wisdom, a territory of the Supreme of Wisdom aka Chihiro Suzuki. All the five Supremes are gathered at a round table and seated at their respective seats. Surrounding them were torches, the only thing that gives them light. The air began to intensify as the Supreme of Peace aka Kazuya Nakamura spoke.

"We must stop this from happening at all costs!" He stood up and strongly thumped his right hand on the table. "The war will only create devastating aftermath. There's no positive outcome to it."

Kazuya Nakamura finished his statement yet no response came from the other Supremes. He glanced left and right to check the reactions. He saw the other three have no changes in their faces and only Kiyoko Shouda (Supreme of Faith) looks concerned. The silence only broke up when Chihiro Suzuki suddenly initiated his intentions.

"However, this is not our problem… We should not interfere in this war."

"Huh!? Don't you care about what might occur!??"

Kazuya gave Chihiro a disgusted look. The two intently stared at each other. Chihiro then momentarily closed his eyes to reset the mood.

"I care… and because I care, the best thing we could do is to not interfere with this matter."

Chihiro leaned his body forward and gazed at Nakamura with a serious face. Nakamura responded with his gritted teeth and clutched hand.

"How can you say you care if you don't wish to meddle in this issue?"

Intervening the conversation was the voice of a sweet lady. It was Kiyoko Shouda shifting her view to Chihiro. Her eyes peering at him.

"…Didn't I tell you already? What I've said is for the best. You people know my ability, right?"

As the word "ability" came out of Chihiro's mouth. No retorts, no denials can be said by the other two—Kazuya and Kiyoko—and would only look at the desk in pain. It seems all of them acknowledged the power of Chihiro Suzuki (Supreme of Wisdom). The last two Supremes are only observing in silence, neither participation nor advice.

And with that, the meeting was adjourned. The three Supremes left immediately and had no second thoughts of turning back. The only ones left are Kazuya and Kiyoko with their faces in deep thoughts. Kiyoko would only bite her lips to vent her anger. As for Kazuya, he was seething his anger, he cannot fathom the lives that can be potentially be lost.

A week later…

All of the Supremes gathered once again in the Chamber, it was Chihiro who summoned them. As they seated in their respective seats, an angered Kazuya instantly started the conversation. It seems that he was still in disapproval of the previous meeting.

"I really think we needed to stop this war!"

"I absolutely agree." Kiyoko without any hesitation followed a forceful agreement.

"We know how great your ability is… But it's only a possibility, not a guaranteed one."

Kazuya finished his claims. Chihiro was only tapping his fingers on the table as he thinks of their words. He was also thinking about something else.

"Rather than stopping this war. Why don't we seize this opportunity to invade both countries—Anich and Aiss?"

Suddenly, a voice intervened in the developing conversation. Kuuga Kato (Supreme of Emptiness) made the statement. This left Kazuya and Kiyoko in shock, they were agape.

"You must be joking!!" Shouting in utter disbelief, Kazuya stood up aggressively.

"Think of this carefully. If we attack the two nations, they won't have enough resources to fight back. And it'll be easy to take control."

"Huh?! Do you think the alliance treaty is a piece of joke?!!"

Kazuya lowered his gaze and peered it at Kuuga. The latter gave a sly smile in response. Intervening them was Seigi Ishida (Supreme of Justice).

"You just don't get it, do you?" He looks at Kazuya. "If we take control of those nations, it will accelerate Harmonia's growth."

As Seigi sided with Kuuga's opinion, the tension in the Chamber rose. The room was split into two, Kazuya and Kiyoko were disagreeing, whereas Seigi and Kuuga pushing their argument. Without anyone giving up their ideals. Chihiro made his statement.

"Attacking the two nations is just your personal interest, am I right?"

"Don't be ridiculous—"

"I know what you're thinking. Do you think I was idle for seven days without doing anything?"

Chihiro's claim caught Seigi by surprise. It halted his own motives and plans. Chihiro then continued his words.

"You plan to control Anich and Aiss and later on, you will betray the Supremes."

"That's not true! On what basis did you—"

"Are you really going to ask me that horrendous question? Have you already forgotten my ability?"

With the word "ability" being spoken again, Seigi's rambling stopped. He knew the ability of Chihiro. The ability to see the countless possible futures. Chihiro can tell the probability of a scene happening and was dubbed as the Optimum Foresight.

"I see… So, you've already predicted the outcome." Kuuga directly stated.

"Yes, and I've already known that you two—Kuuga and Seigi—will betray us," Chihiro smirked as he glided his eyes to the two suspects. He continued. "I also talked to both heads of states of Anich and Aiss. They already signed a peace treaty."

"This is… impossible…"

Seigi stood up and in a state of bewilderment. He had no retort and would only gaze in silence. As for Kuuga, he was calm and composed as if he didn't give any care at all. The two of them were sent to the Rehabilitation Dungeon (R. D.) located in the Valley of Faith. Rehabilitation Dungeon is a place where people who violated laws and had misconduct behaviors being brought upon. There, people do services such as mining and refining. They violated the third Principle of the Supremes—No One Shall Act For Their Own Benefit.

The meeting ended and the Supremes left the Chamber. Kiyoko took charge of their transfer. She ensured that there will be no trouble happening. On their way out, Kazuya confronted Chihiro.

"You really are full of surprises, aren't you?" He tapped Chihiro's shoulders. "You always work behind the scenes. No one knows what you're trying to do. But you cared for them, for the people."

"I don't know what you're talking about."

Kazuya smiled as he looks at the back of Chihiro. And with that, the first issue had been solved.
