Chapter 47
Leaving Sanzo, Naruto arrived at his destination within moments. He didn't ask for help because she would have offered it, if it was possible.
Sanzo was a kind person but that didn't she was going to pamper him. She already gave him a warning, so he could avoid it.
It was his choice what he did with that knowledge.
He was actually very annoyed. He was feeling anger rising in his heart.
It was anger for being careless.
Davis and his team were followed by one of the Mega Tamers of the team while he thought it was enough that his maids were following him.
He was close to the main city.
He was going to safe section of the Desert.
The human forces were discussing about the criminal gangs.
Everything had told him that things were fine and it should be safe, so what kind of crazy bastards were attacking him.
Naruto wasn't sure who took this suicide mission. It was suicide since there would be no surviving it for the attackers either.
Just like always there was one maid with them, and it wasn't Roberta. So, it meant that there wasn't a Mega digimon attacking them.
There should be at least 3 Ultimate Digimon involved.
His Maid could take on two or at least hold them back while Naruto could take on one if he used a champion digimon as the foundation for his power.
The Mega digimon wouldn't also work since any of the maids could at least hold it back and Naruto could do the same with the Ultimate digimon to get it close to Mega level.
So, it was probably 3 or 4 Ultimate digimon.

With those thoughts in mind, Naruto arrived at his destination and quickly found Mai. She was in the hot spring section for employees.
Naruto was an important tamer to the association so they allowed him usage to such facilities. He directly went towards the hot spring, stored his clothes and entered with a towel around his lower body.
It was a mix bath. Mai had the bad habit of teasing people and leaving them blue balled.
"Consider me shocked, what brought you here Lord Uzumaki?" Mai was alone in the water, relaxing her body with a cup of sake in her hand.
She had been following the group at the orders of the Association and trying to create goodwill with them for the clan.
It was a difficult job. The team was very reliable and they didn't need her help. To make matters worse, Naruto found her every time so she couldn't watch them every day.
Regardless, she had been impressed by the group and Naruto.
They were definitely going to become pillars of humanity.
That was that, and now she didn't expect him to come. He had a lot of women around him. She was confident in her looks and skills but Naruto was very good at control.
He was too focused and even the other girls didn't really distract him much.
She wanted to build some goodwill before starting the seduction mission. So, it was surprising to see him naked.
It was definitely good eye candy.
She was also good eye candy.
Both got something in return and followed the principles of equivalent exchange.
Naruto walked in to the hot water and sat opposite of Mai, "I need your help."
"What kind?" Mai teased as she extended her legs and touched his feet.
"Not that kind, I will do that later. I need your power, we are going to be targeted tomorrow and I want to take the enemies down. You can't inform this to your superiors until we are done."
Mai smiled confidently as she heard those words. She was physically attracted to Naruto. It wasn't emotional.
It was just about the benefits.
She was a ninja and that was her upbringing. Follow the best Lord possible.
She had even tried going for Jiraiya but he said she was too young. Go to my grandson if you want the Uzumaki clan backing, those were his words.
That pervert really influenced him too much. He didn't act like one but his appetite was too heavy. She had become really curious.
She was confident in her skills, so she wanted to see if he was really that good or what.
"Why take such risks? Why should I not inform them?" Mai asked as she tried to make sense of the situation.
"They will abandon the mission if they see any of the movement. I don't want such welcoming targets to escape. And, you will do it because I will owe you one. You will have my support if you accept it." Naruto replied calmly as he understood her nature.
"I understand, but what will I get in return?"
"What do you desire?"
"Your control is what I desire."
"I will allow it. You shall have my backing from now on."
With those words, Mai hugged him tightly with happiness clear in her words. She had thought it was going to be a long process because of Naruto's strictness. But, now everything just fell into her lap.
"I will serve my lord diligently."

Leaving Mai in her room at the Association and getting some looks from the ladies and gentlemen, Naruto walked back to the park.
Regardless, he had fun and he felt better now. This covered up his need for one Ultimate Tamer. But he was feeling the desire to act extra cautious.
He had made such mistakes before. He was smarter than before and more skilled, but he thought there was a need to get extra steps.
With that thought stuck in his mind, Naruto took a sharp turn and arrived at Legend Arms.

It was already close to 12 P.M but the shop was still open. It never closed and the customers never stopped flowing.
Not all trainers operated at the same times, some preferred working at night time.
Naruto had become very familiar with the place since he had been visiting for a week now. Without asking for instructions, Naruto directly went towards his target.
Raiji and Dura were in their office while the shop was being handled by rookie and champion digimon. These two only attended important guests.
Naruto gave a knock before entering the room.
It was bigger than what could be seen from the outside.
The room was divided in to two territories.
One side had shields while the other side had swords.
Raiji and Dura were friends and rivals so they tested each other all the time.
"Naruto, I thought you would be asleep now. Didn't you plan to go out tomorrow morning?" Raiji asked as he looked up from his notebook.
He had been writing new details about his experiments while Dura was meditating and focusing his sharp aura.
They were in a race to see if they could get their mega forms.
There was only one digimon from both their evolution line that had gotten Mega while the rest were stuck on Ultimate form.
Merlin had told them that it was how the world kept its balance.
Their Mega form was strong as the Royal Knights, were there countless Royal Knights or were there few of them.
If you want to evolve, find your owner. Only your owner can do it.
These two found their owners and evolved to adapt to them.
That was the instruction from the guardian Merlin and even their Queen Artoria, Holy Lance Rhongomyniad, had told them the same thing.
She had told them that they were the best among everyone in the Island. They should go to the Human City and their chosen would come to them.
That was decades ago and the duo had been waiting patiently for that day. They had even met the Ancients and their kids, but there was no strong reaction.
They had felt something from Naruto and it was the starting point of their relationship. Raiji felt stronger bond from Naruto while Dura's was weaker. It was probably because Naruto wasn't very aggressive and cold natured.
"I don't sleep more than three hours, Raijin. And, I do plan to go out tomorrow…But, there have been some changes." Naruto replied as he walked inside and took a seat on the wooden floor beside Raijin.
Raijin looked at him and shut his notebook.
It wasn't hard to guess that there was a problem.
"What is the problem?" Raijin asked while Dura had his ear open as well. Dura was a golden digimon who had swords for arms and tails. He looked like a humanoid golden armor.
For now his tail was just a long golden metal tail and his arms were normal metal arms as the swords were for battle.
Outside battle and inside the shop that would be dangerous and inconvenient.
"I am being targeted. The enemy will attack me tomorrow. I estimate that there would 4 or 5 ultimate digimon in the battle. The enemy is unaware that I know, and I want to take advantage of this fact."
"You want us to help you fight."
"Yes, I will owe you one."
"Pass a test of mine, and we will go from there." Dura opened his eyes and spoke out in a calm tone. He stood up and towered the sitting duo.
"What is the test?"
"Nothing much, just endure my aura without passing out."
"Dura, that is irresponsible. Naruto is a friend, so don't act like that with him."
"This is between us. Naruto, what is your decision?"
Naruto could tell that this was supposed to be something dangerous. He was also feeling that these two were close to him because he might be their chosen one.
It wasn't rocket science. He knew their lore and seeing their actions told him enough.
He usually didn't like people testing him but this was for his benefit, so he didn't mind at all.
He had no preference for a sword but having one was better than none.
"I will do it." Naruto replied confidently as he stood up and looked him in the eyes. He wasn't going to let anyone look down on him.
"Good, here it comes." With his words finished, Dura released his cutting aura. It was extremely sharp and cut everything around them.
It caused hesitation in the opponent, fear of death and such.
But, Naruto didn't step back and let the aura cut him.
It was a test of his guts and endurance. It was test to see if he was worthy of a blade. It was needed so that Dura could have some peace of mind.
Raijin had a stronger reaction to Naruto, so he was happy and satisfied while Dura had a weak reaction. Naruto's attitude also told him that he wasn't the sword type.
He had waited for a long time. He didn't want to lose to Raijin.
It went on for five minutes straight and Naruto's body was filled with deep cuts that were bleeding. It was a terrifying sight.
But, Naruto hadn't taken a single step back and didn't even defend.
"You pass, thank you for accepting this request." Dura nodded as he activated the healing program in the room and Naruto's injuries closed up.
Normally, they wouldn't close up if Dura didn't want them to. His attacks had anti-healing properties.
"That was impressive, Naruto. Can you attack my barrier with your strongest hit, I want to test something?" Raijin also ended up taking the route and testing Naruto. He was sure Naruto was good but he hadn't really tested his capabilities directly.
Naruto had remained calm because he knew that Dura wouldn't just kill him, otherwise the experience had been really dangerous.
He could have easily been chopped in to tiny pieces.
Giving a nod, Naruto took some distance and enhanced his body with chakra.
He created a compressed rasengan that would have been bigger than his body into a volleyball size ball. With the weapon ready, Naruto launched himself at the target with insane speed.
His hand stretched out and the rasengan collided with the barrier.
The rasengan spun and struggled with ferocity, and Naruto gave it another flow to make it even stronger. It grew big in the last spurt and fizzled out without even making the barrier shudder.
He would have gotten a reaction if he used Rasenshuriken but it was not the right place for it.
Both digimon were happy at the result, Naruto's attack was very powerful and clearly on the Champion rank.
"We will help you. But, we can't help out directly in such a fight since we are neutral. I will send one of my followers to help you out." Raijin said after a moment. He was happy at the results but he couldn't just break the rules.
He would put his region in danger with such an act. He wasn't Naruto's partner so he couldn't be counted as Human side.
"That's more than enough. If you guys came, then it would be bullying and not a fight."
"Haha, you are fight. Maybe we will help next time, with Mega threats." Raijin said in double speak. It could be taken in both ways and Naruto also understood that.
"We will, I always attract trouble so that would happen sooner or later." Naruto said and had a shot conversation with the guys before leaving to battle Son Goku.
