"I still can't believe it! How can Rainbow cause such a powerful magical phenomenon with just fast flight!" Exclaimed Twilight as they were walking down a forest path on their way to Zecora.
"I told you love. It's much more than a simple Flight. Rainbow had not only tapped into her Pegasi magic but also into the magic of Friendship and somehow managed to compress and transform all the magic on her way into that magical blast. While I already have some theories about that, I'm sure you don't want to hear my scientific rambling without having your notepad." He said with a smirk causing Twilight to roll her eyes.
"Alright, but I want to hear your entire theory when we go back home, ok? Can you do it for me? Pretty please. I'll make it worth your while" She wiggled her eyebrows seductively making Starfall smirk and kiss the naughty unicorn.
"Of course Love. Everything for you." He said, and she shouted yes triumphantly making Starfall laugh at her childish behaviour.
He loved seeing her so carefree.
They soon arrived at the Tree House of Zecora and knocked on the door which were promptly opened by the smiling Zebra.
"Just in time I find you here. Tea with hay you want I feel." She said in her usual rhyme and the trio soon found themselves sitting together and chatting about some unimportant matters enjoying the afternoon...

"Huh...I think we got a bit too comfy Twily. Look it's already getting dark outside." Pointed out Starfall a few hours into their visit.
"Oh my! You're right. I'm sorry Zecora. We weren't planning to take your whole day." Said Twilight apologetically.
"Quiet alright it is my dear. Company's a rare thing here. Please visit me when you can. Doesn't really matter when." She winked at Twilight and guided the duo to the doors.
Right. Please contact us if you ever need unicorn magic for your potions. We'll be happy to assist you." Added Starfall as they got out of the house.
"I'll keep you to that my dear unicorn lad."Said Zecora with a smile before closing the door.
Starfall and Twilight were soon on their way back to Ponyville through the forest but a sudden scream caused them to stop abruptly and look at each other in worry.
"It sounded like the CMC!" Said Twilight in worry.
Starfall nodded equally worried.
"Spike said that they were having a slumber party at Rarity tonight... What are they doing in the Everfree forest?!"He said in confusion before something finally clicked in his memory.
"We need to find them!" He said and Twilight nodded in agreement as they run in the direction of the screaming.

I'll hold it girls! Go find Starfall! He knows how to stop it!" Said Spike in panic trying to protect the girls.
He knew that it was a stupid idea to go into the forest but the girls really wanted to prove themselves and while he tried to act responsibly, he was still just a small boy and the peer pressure regretfully put him in this situation.
This situation being Spike wrestling with a Cockatrice while his body was slowly being turned into stone just like Apple Bloom's did a moment ago.
Sweetie Bell cried and tried to help Spike but a crying Scootaloo stopped her and pulled her away. They needed to find Starfall!
Just at this moment there was a sound of hooves galloping as Fluttershy, Twilight and Starfall emerged from behind the trees and saw everything that was happening.
"Girls! There you are! Come here quickly!" Called out Fluttershy In worry as Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo hid behind the Pegasus while Starfall and Twilight engaged the Cockatrice.
They met Fluttershy while running towards the screams. Apparently she took the kids in when Rarity had to cancel their sleepover, but they sneaked out of the house as they weren't sleepy and and tried to find a missing chicken. She was looking for them when she heard the screams in the forest.
Starfall cast Petrification resistance spell on the two of them and levitated the two petrified kids away from the Cockatrice before Twilight conjured a cage and a blindfold before binding the thrashing creature and storing it inside, it's eyes covered.
"It's alright girls, Everything is ok now." Starfall said and the two girls instantly run towards Spike and Scootaloo In worry.
"Fluttershy, could you..." He pointed towards the cockatrice and she understood.
He cast a counter petrification spell on the Pegasus and she nodded gratefully before releasing the creature from the blindfold and looking at it with her Rebuking Stare. Starfall could have used the spell to heal the kids but he wanted to see Fluttershy using her legendary 'Stare' and see whether it was in any way magical. He honestly wouldn't have been surprised either way as Fluttershy is scary when she's angry....
Under the Stare of Fluttershy, the Cockatrice quickly crumpled and became docile as she rebuked it and ordered the animal to turn the kids back from the stone. Starfall also confirmed that it was indeed in some way a magical skill somehow similar to his Mage Sight which he found mildly interesting. Maybe he could also learn the Stare or teach Fluttershy how to see Magic later... something to think about...
The Cockatrice quickly complied with Fluttershy demands and the kids were all back to health and hugging eachother crying in relief while the Cockatrice was released back into the wild after Fluttershy made it promise to never attack any Ponies and Dragons ever again.
Honestly Starfall felt a little bad for the kids as it was a quiet traumatic experience for them, but it clearly brought the four of them closer together and taught them a valuable lesson, so there was at least a bit of good that came out of it.
He also wondered why Twilight didn't encounter a Cockatrice earlier that day like in the show which would have warned the kids ahead of time, but he realized that the Cockatrice wouldn't have attacked her as she was together with him the entire time and no sane animal would attack a pair of larger creatures even if it could quiet easily take care of a single one. So in a roundabout way, he was the reason for their situation...
*Sigh...*He hugged the kids who were still crying and together everyone returned to Fluttershy's cottage where the kids refused to separate as they went to sleep hugged from both sides by Fluttershy and Starfall while Twilight was clinging to Starfall from behind.
He had to enlarge the bed with magic to fit everyone in, but he considered it all a very small payment if it meant the kids could sleep soundly and not think about the event from a few hours ago...

They were still grounded for a day after they woke up for sneaking into the forest, but as the punishment was actually to stay at home together, they were more than happy to do so.
Starfall informed their Sisters and Scootaloo's Aunts that the girls would stay there a bit longer, and he decided to keep them company together with Twilight as they spend the rest of the day playing board games and making sure that the kids were coping with the experience they had yesterday.
All in all, the kids were back to their cheerful selves when they were returned to their respective caretakers and he agreed not to share their little escapade with them if they promise to act more responsible from now on.
Although Spike still ended up sleeping in Twilight's embrace that night which actually was a bit inconvenient for Starfall as he didn't have chance to make love with any of his girls for a second night in a row and was a bit pent up...But there were more important thing in life of course so he was going to make sure that his 'Son' didn't have a trauma...
He was actually pretty proud of him too. The little Dragon held the Cockatrice only to make sure that the girls were alright and disregarding his own wellbeing...No wonder the girls were sending him such glances through the entire day...Damn, he was really taking after his Daddy...
