106 Elevenagon and Portals
// Ugh... Totally have no time and inspiration for writing recently. next weak I have four successive exams and I'm yet to start seriouslylearning for them haha...ha... Like...really...Why can't I go back to 10 year ago... Everything was easier in primary school XD

"Now Steady!...Steady...Yes...Perfect! Now just connect it and..."Starfall listened as Whooves instructed him in how to install their newest Generator in the powerplant sector. He was currently lowering their newly modified meteoric power source into a specifically created containment construct.
It took them almost two weeks to correct all the imperfections in the Generator and build a special chamber that would isolate it from potential outside interference. Starfall showed of his little paranoia by making safety measures upon safety measures so that nothing could go wrong, and the final chamber looked truly impressive, with walls entirely covered in rune engraved magical metals, and with the core he just installed floating in the middle of the room surrounded with magical barriers and runic pillars...
"Apples...That looks impressive..." Starfall muttered as he finally took in the entire chamber.
"That it is my friend... And to think it's only for the power source... I'm still unsure whether we even need so much power in here..." Whooves added from beside him.
Starfall shrugged before a small amused expression appeared on his face.
"Well...No matter whether we need it or not..." He said before touching a large blue gemstone on the wall.
Instantly energy surged from the generator and vines of energy spread over the walls of the chamber, leading outside into the corridor.
The two walked out of the Room to the sight of a dark corridor rapidly being illuminated by futuristic glowing gemstones and vines of energy... Starfall's grin grew wider.
"...At least we'll have some really overcomplicated lighting. Bwahahaha!"He finished laughing at his own words and getting a snort and an eye roll from Whooves.
"Blimey, that's a good one Star... Haha!"

Starfall crawled out of the Lab, only to suddenly get tackled by Rainbow Dash.
"Woah!? R-Rainbow!? What are you-" He stopped his words as his eyes landed on the other mares standing behind the mare looking at them in amusement, but also with a hint of annoyance.
"Umm...Hey Girls...Is something wrong?"He asked looking at the agglomeration of most of his Marefriends looking at him with those expressions.
"Well 'bout time ya got out of yer ColtCave Sugarcube." Applejack said, looking at Starfall with a hint of disapproval.
"Yes Darling. How long did you expect to spend in that Basement?" Rarity added with a similar expression.
"I-I..." Starfall wasn't sure what to say but before he could come up with anything, the Rainbow coloured pegasus pinning him to the ground spoke.
"Exactly! Starfall! I understand that you're enthusiastic about all your "egghead stuff", but it's not cool to forgot about us!" Rainbow added with a huff, but a flying Tortoise patted her shoulder, trying to calm her down...
Wait... Flying tortoise?!
Starfall looked at the animal and noticed some kind of magical helicopter thingy attached to his shell...Huh...So Rainbow finally got her pet?
"Umm...This is...?" He asked looking at the tortoise.
Rainbow looked at where he looked and finally smiled.
"Ah I guess you don't know. This is Tank! The Coolest Tortoise in all of Equestria! Fluttershy helped me choose a pet since I felt a bit Jealous of Everypony I admit... It's a long story that you'd have already knew about if you weren't confined in your Basement for over a week!"She shot him a slight glare and Starfall finally understood what was going on.
He got so absorbed in work that he completely forgot about the outside world and neglected his Marefriends, and with Twilight, Luna and Midnight having gone to Canterlot for a few days, there was no one to remind him to go out, as Whooves wasn't much better when it came to getting excited with the research...
"Right...Sorry girls...I'll make it up to you. I swear." He said as Rainbow finally let him stand up.
"You better!" she said with her hoof to his chest, before her expression turned more cheerful.
"Now come here and show us how sorry you are!" She said with a mischievous grin and Starfall realised that all the Mares looked at him with anticipation and there was a large magically conjured bed taking more than half of the floor in the library...
Starfall looked back at the Mares...Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Meena, Luna and Midnight, all looked at him with lecherous expression...For the first time in his life...He wasn't sure whether he was capable to cope with the challenge...

He wasn't...

Starfall woke up in a heap of bodies, his muscles sore, but for the first time in a long while he felt truly satisfied...
Apparently with all of them sexually frustrated and finding themselves in what amounted to an elevenagon, or orgy in simple terms, his magically empowered libido finally reached its limit...
He looked at the girls, all sleeping soundly with happy expression and couldn't help but smile. At least, everypony were satisfied...
But that did brought the question...Where are all the nonponies?

Tank the Tortoise walked slowly down the road, his head held high, as an eye-catching group of animals spanning a bunny, Cat, Dog, White Phoenix, Owl, and a baby Aligator stood in line as if they were a group of dutiful soldiers. His eyes went over the group and he nodded in satisfaction. They were a fine group of lads...
Nearby, a group of three filies and a small dragon, watched this spectacle in a stunned silence... What was going on?!
They were about to say something, but suddenly Tank looked straight at them with a scary expression and the foursome instantly jumped into the line beside the animals. Phoebe gave Spike an amused expression, but instantly straightened as Tank looked right at her...
Yeah...That was a one weird day for sure...

"So...you all pretended to be some kind of superhero, just to give Rainbow Dash a lesson in humility?... That's...A bit much...But if it worked, then I guess I have nothing to say on the matter. Haha...ha..." Starfall laughed awkwardly. He actually missed two entire "episode's" worth of events by hiding in his basement...
The girls snorted, giggled or simply smiled.
"Yeah, it was a funny story! Especially when she mistook us for Midnight or Luna because we'd often change places either using our magic or flying with our wings." Rarity giggled remembering Rainbow accusing the two Alicorns of being the mysterious 'Mare Do Well' and stealing her spotlight, when both of them were at that time still out on some matter in Canterlot.
Starfall sighed.
"I'm sorry once again girls... I didn't want to neglect any of you. I already have enough of this with Little Strongheart whom I get to meet only a few times a month. Thankfully I'm finally done with my special project which I hope can greatly diminish the problem of distance..." Starfall said sincerely as his excitement returned at the last part.
"Oh! Really!? What Is it?! What is it!?"Pinkie Pie jumped in excitement, showing of his curiosity and eliciting an amused eye roll from Pinkamena.
Starfall's grin grew even larger as he explained.
"Oh, you're going to love it girls! I believe that my invention can revolutionise transport in Equestria! Come with me and I'll show you!" He jumped up and led all the girls into the laboratory...

"Now I'm here! ...And now I'm there! Here! There! Here! There! Here! There!" Pinkie Pie Chanted while rapidly jumping in and out from one portal to the other.
"This is marvelous Starfall! I had no idea you were already so close to completion!" Exclaimed Luna In wonder, ignoring the excited Pinkie Pie.
Starfall noticed to his bemusement that a certain Clone of Pinkie also joined her sneakily and was currently jumping in and out beside her 'sister' while trying to maintain a calm persona... That was certainly a weird sight, but he assumed that she was just embracing her inner Pinkie or something...
He certainly didn't think it was bad for her psychological trauma... He was happy that she was recovering, albeit he doubted she'd end up the same as Pinkie, no matter how similar they were and how much time they spend together... She was still her own Pony after all...
"Woah! This is cool! I'm not usually into all this magic stuff, but I can see that you had to put a lot of work into this portal thingy!" Rainbow said, making a spin around the portal before diving in and floating out through the other one while doing a barrel roll...
"Be careful Dash! You don't want to damage the frame or you might get everypony hurt!" Twilight admonished Rainbow but Starfall patted her shoulder.
"Don't worry Twily. You know how much attention I pay to safety measures. She wouldn't be able to damage the portal frames even if she tried." He said with a grin while patting the runic frame and causing a ripple of energy to spread under his hoof, revealing an invisible barrier.
Applejack walks over and repeats Starfall's did, causing the same ripple effect to appear on the portal ring...before shrugging.
"Well... I ain't gonna try buckin' it, but that's one solid barrier if I ever touched one. Also..." She walked through the portal and out throu the second one...
"...That has to be the most interestin' way of transportation I've ever seen! Imagine installing one of those on an apple cart! I could buck all my apples straight towards it and instantly send em inside my barn!" She finished in amusement, walking back towards everypony.
Starfall snorted.
"While that's certainly one way to use it, I don't think Equestria is ready for widespread usage and commercialisation of portal magic. Just imagine the chaos it could cause if such a portal fell into the wrong hooves..." Starfall said half joking...
"Starfall is correct. While this invention is truly revolutionary, the possibility for espionage and even invasion makes it a necessity for secrecy or at the very least heavy protection. I assume you want to have one of those installed in Appleloosa, am I correct Love?" Asked Midnight showing off a bit of her royal temperament.
"That is correct Moon. But I'm still unsure of whether I even want to make it public, although I already have an idea of how we could implement it if that was the case." He explained.
"How would you have gone about this then?" Rarity asked curiously. The prospect of instantly moving between Ponyville and Canterlot or Manehatan really appealed to her.
"Well... Building an entire infrastructure focused on a safe transport between different "Ports" would be a minimum...The Portal enchantments would need to be hidden above just being enchanted, and some kind of identification gate would have to be a standard between all the locations, so that we don't accidentally let through a criminal, a disguised Changeling and etcetera... Moony was not joking when speaking about an invasion after all... And then we'd also have to make an agreement with the railway because we don't want to make them lose their work..." Starfall explained the logistics to all the girls...with the exception of Pinkie, Rainbow Dash and Meena who were stil playing around with the Portals...
"That's... a lot of work..." Fluttershy commented and everyone agreed.
"That's why I'm not going to bother with this any time soon, haha!" Starfall replied with a laugh to everyone's bemusement.
"Then why did you go out of your way to plan all this logistics Darling?" Asked a confused Rarity.
"Oh, that's simply because I like to plan ahead..." He explained with a sheepish grin.
"...Right...So what are your plans then Sugarcube?" Asked Applejack.
Starfall smiled and explained.
"Why, of course I'm going to set them up in secret for now! I'm sure Tia would appreciate an easy way to visit Ponyville, and like was said before, I can't let Little Strongheart wait for me for even longer. I'm sure she's dying of boredom even with our regular corespondency..." He explained with a toothy grin while everypony send him an unamused expression with the exception of Fluttershy who giggled.
"Sigh...Just please don't cause any explosion when you'll be setting them up alright dear?" Luna touched her forehead in exasperation.
"Why, Love! Who do you take me for! Did any of my inventions ever exploded." Starfall asked in mock hurt tone, to which everypony gave him a warning glare.
He laughed awkwardly.
"I'll be careful..." He promised...
