3 Chapter 3

Short Chapter

Walking to his class, Deku was stopped by Bakugo.

"Shitty nerd, why are you always in my way?" The blonde said to Izuku who was minding his business.

"You don't want smoke, you got asthma." Deku said as she said, 'bar' in his head. He was thinking about taking up a new hobby.

"You looking down on me?!" Bakugo said, with venom in his voice.

"What you tryna do then?!" Izuku said, taking off his book bag.

Before Bakugo could say or do anything, Deku made a flash bang grenade. Deku already made shades, so he wouldn't be blinded by the light.

"You piece of shit! Using dirty tricks," Bakugo said as he began striking the air around him.

Taking off the shades, Izuku began to beat the dog shit outta Bakugo. Because he couldn't see, he was an easy target.

Though a couple of years ago, he wouldn't have done such a thing, the fighting fair thing was done.

After leaving him in the hallway, someone took him to the nurse. He came back with most of his injuries healed, but he might have suffered brain damage because he came back yelling.

"Fight me, right now! Fair and square!" Bakugo said, walking over to Deku's seat.

Izuku made a Glock with a silencer. He positioned it to the point where only Bakugo could see it.

Not wanting to feel hot today, he made the sound 'tch' looking at the gun.

"What?! Can't fight without a weapon? You're weak! Nothing but a Deku!" Bakugo said walking back to his seat, not wanting to taste lead today.

As the day went on, Bakugo would throw an insult whenever he got the chance. Of course, with no hesitation, Izuku would say something harsher. The class thought it was funny, but Izuku was hitting it where it hurt. Pause.

After school was over, Bakugo didn't try to fight Izuku, knowing he was trigger-happy. Izuku thought about going to see Mitsuki, but he changed his mind, he thought he needed to give her time.

He made his way to the music store. He wanted to try out rapping because it felt so natural just to play with his words, making it sound good.

With the money, he got from his "job", he bought a microphone and a stand, headphones, an audio interface, and a mic cable.

After buying his equipment, he walked back home to get started. He already had some lyrics in his head, to get him started.

His mom helped him set up the stuff because she wanted to support what he was doing, also wanting to see why he bought all the stuff.

With his computer, he made a beat in an hour to which Inko she said liked. She was bobbing her head, listening to the music her son just created.

"Mom, you sure you want to stay? The lyrics might get heated." Deku said, before putting on his headphones.

"I support you 100% of what you do unless it's something to get you in trouble," Inko reassured him, nodding in response.

[If he talking crazy, imma pull up to his house

If he get to hiding imma fish him out like he was Klaus

All my opps are bitches, man these niggas rank

If he trying family, imma wet him till he sank

Got his momma working, yeah she shaking like a salt shaker

Put the chrome in his mouth, the definition of a jaw breaker]

Listening to her son, she heard him play with his words like it was a game. The creativity behind each bar left her astonished. He didn't know her son could do such a thing.

Though the lyrics were questionable, she enjoyed listening to him rap, as he would call it. She had a smile on her face, watching her son do what he enjoyed most.

She just wished she could've experienced more moments like this when he was growing up.

After finishing the last verse, the beat cut off and he stopped rapping. He took off his headphones to hear his mother clapping while sitting on his bed. He smiled seeing her so excited about his newfound passion.

"You think people will fuck with it?" Deku asked as his mother glared at him.

"Language, young man. But yes, I do think people will enjoy it." She answered heartily. She truly believed that her son would do big things.

The both of them, sitting in his room, Inko talking while Izuku edited his song. He was new to it, so he did what he could to make it sound better.

Izuku finished the final pieces of his song, then uploaded it on a music platform that anybody could stumble upon. He would be lucky if he got one listener.

But he wasn't worried about that, he just wanted to try it out and see how it went from there. When he finished with the song, he helped his mom with dinner.

"So what made you want to be a rapper? I thought you wanted to be a hero." Inko asked while setting the table.

"I do. It's something I want to do on the side." Izuku said.

"What will you do if you 'blow up' from your music?" Inko asked.

"I will write more songs, don't forget you're out of work, and I'll be going to UA. Who will take care of you when I'm gone?" Deku asked making his mom go silent.

"I wanna let you live comfortably. You don't have to worry about if a roof will be over our heads, let me take care of you." Izuku said, Inko trying to hold back her tears.

Her baby boy has become a man.
