Superman is punching Parademons left and right and is even lifting hundreds of them at a time.
Green Lantern is creating trains and hammers to smash them into pieces and reduce their numbers.
The Flash uses his enormous speed to punch one after the other and rescue humans while he does that. If only he knew how to use his powers better ... he'd be unstoppable.
However, the only one we care about is Batman. The monster has been unleashed and the air around him changed. The monster, the beast, the Doom Slayer ... he had been unleashed.
He worked his way through the hordes of Parademons like a Primarch from Warhammer 40k on a normal Sunday. The Power blade he wields looks similar to the one, Doomslayer uses. Black and red.

He can have his nanites create any weapon he wants, but right now, he uses a sword, as that is the best weapon for the situation. The scary thing about Batman in this state is that he is not mindless in any way. It is like letting lose for Superman, only much more dangerous. Nothing is safe anymore, every single Parademon in front of him will be killed and you can believe that.
He slashes three of them in quick succession. He takes out small explosives and throws them toward approaching Parademons. He doesn't look, there is no need. The small explosives attach to the bodies of the sad sods and begin to beep.
*Beep Beep*
*BOOOM*
*BOOOM*
*BOOOM*
The explosives go off, while Batman continues to dodge and cut through the horde. His threat is becoming palpable and the Parademons are starting to ... fear him. They can smell fear and this creature in front of them is dangerous.
But what does it matter? Batman continues his rampage through the streets and not only is he holding them back, he is even pushing them back as well, making his way towards the Boom Tube.
Superman meanwhile uses a truck to hit dozens of them at once. He swings it around like a baseball bat and smashes them to pieces.
*BOOM*
The truck gets destroyed and Superman uses any part of it to break more monsters as he goes.

"Down here quickly!"
"Where are we going?"
"We have to get him into the red room.", Dr. Stone says.
"B-but I'm only an intern, Dr. Stone. I'm not authorized-"
"Security is off-line, Sarah. You can open it."
"Hnn!", Sarah pushes the door open and activates the power switch, illuminating the room.
"Wow."
"For goodness sake, Sarah, don't touch anything. We shouldn't be touching anything, Silas."
"Lock the door behind us. There's a manual switch.", Dr. Stone says.
They lay Victor down.
"I'm not leaving you, Victor. Don't leave me either."

"Whoa! Superman used that truck like a baseball bat.", the Flash says.
"I can do that too. See?", Green Lantern remarks and creates a giant bat out of green energy.
"Where are they taking them?"
"Taking who?"
"The people. Superman's right. They aren't killing anyone."
"So what do they want with us?"
"For DarKSeiD", the Parademons scream and continue to attack. Superman is about to be overwhelmed when a warcry is heard.
"Creatures of Evil! BACK TO HADES!", Wonder Woman has arrived at the scene. She cuts apart anything that comes in her way, swinging her lasso and using the Parademon she tied up to destroy more of them.
"Uh ... wow."
"Dibs.", Green Lantern says.
"You're strong.", Superman says.
"I know."

In the Red Room, Dr. Stone and the others are looking at Victor's vitals.
"It's ... it's incredible ... his vitals are there, Dr. Stone."
"He's alive."
"D-dad?"
"Yes, Victor. I'm right here."
"It hu-hurts. It ... it hurts so b-bad."
"It's going to hurt. It's not going to be easy, but-"
"ARGHHH!"
"Whatever that energy is, it's eating him away from the inside out. His heart. He's going into cardiac arrest and it's racing up his spinal cord!"
"Then we can't wait."
"But the risk-?"
"What choice do I have, Morrow?! This room contains technology recovered from across the globe. I've studied and logged nearly everything here. I've taken apart and rebuilt most of it. It can save my son's life.
... It has to."
Dr. Stone says and begins putting different parts of metals on Victor's body.
"If his body rejects it ..."
"Rejects what, Doctor Morrow?"
"The Promethium skin graft."
"It won't. I've injected the nanites. Activate them."
"Those haven't been tested. we recovered them from-"
"Do it!"
*KAAZAATT*
[Nanites activated]
As the nanites activate, Victor's scream suddenly changes.
"AAHH01010101000010111"

On the other side, the Parademons suddenly rise into the air and stop attacking the heroes. Batman simply stands there, soaked in gore and blood, looking up and seeing the situation.
"Greetings warriors. I followed these things from your capital city. I saw you and saw you needed help ... well some of you.", Wonder Woman says and then looks at the Dark Knight who is still holding on to his sword.
"Looks like we scared them off."
"No. They're assembling."
"They're circling the water! Do you see that? What are they doing?", the Flash asks.

Victor is spasming and has visions of a dark and dangerous place. He sees death and destruction. On top of a mountain of corpses, he sees a giant creature. And the creature turns his head and looks Victor in the eyes.
[Picture]
Darkseid.
.
It appears as if lighting strikes the water and causes it to become chaotic, spilling over the railings. Green Lantern stops the water from flooding the streets.
Then out of the ocean ... a giant structure rises and the air turns red.
[Picture]
"What is that?"
"I was hoping one of you could tell me.", a new voice says and everyone turns around to see a man coming out of the water, holding a trident in his hand.
"They were in the water too. So who is in charge here? I vote me."

"ARRGHHH"
"You have to do something! He's in pain.", Sarah says.
"The pain will subside, Sarah. As soon as the Promethium finishes replacing his damaged tissue."
"That might not be all it does, Stone. The technology in this room is experimental. His ultimate transformation is unforeseeable."
"I ... I had no choice, Thomas ...2
*WHAM*
"Those monsters are trying to get in!"
"Dad?! I can't see. I can't feel my legs ... my arms ... my hands."
[Unassimilated data detected.]
[Download initiated]
*VEEP*
"NNGG!"

"What's happening?", Victor asks.
[Visualizing data. Recalibrating memory.]
"NNNGGG"
"Don't fight the programming son. I've set the cybernetic operating system to auto command until we can transfer control to you safely-"
*BOOOOM*
The door is smashed open and the Parademons rush in. They immediately attack Victor.
[Defense mode.]
"AHHH!"
[Reconfiguring]
[White noise cannon enabled.]
Victor's arm transforms and a powerful sound is heard, ripping the Parademons to paste in a second.

"My hand ..."
"Oh my god."
"My face ... I hear a buzzing in my ears. It won't stop. Dad? Dad, what's wrong with me? What am I?"
"You're my son, Victor. You were going to die. This was my only hope to save you."
"You did this to me?"
"I couldn't let you go."
"YOU DID THIS TO ME!", Victor screams and jumps out of the giant hole, his blast created.
"Victor, wait!"

Back in Metropolis, the five heroes have just met Aquaman.
"Who are you?", Superman asks.
"They call him Aquaman."
"Aquaman? I thought Aquaman was a sketch on Conan O'Brien."
"I'm very real."
"First Batman's real, now this?", Hal says.
"Greetings Aquaman. What a day for a fight!", Wonder Woman greets him.
"I found this creature in the ocean. It set off some kind of device that tore open a hole in the water. Dozens of them flew out. You've obviously gathered together to fight them."
"I guess we ... kinda did."
"The demons are taking people to that tower. We need to get in there and see why. But first we have to thin out the crowds. Distract them.", Arthur says and looks at Green Lantern.
"We need a lure."
"Why are you looking at me?"
"You're shiny. Get as bright as you can and lead them away from that tower.", Aquaman says.
"Hey, I'm not a fish, Aquafresh. Don't order 'em around like one.", Green Lantern says.
The Flash gets in between the two before anything can happen.
"You are pretty shiny."
"You're supposed to be on my side, Flash. We've already got one wannabe Super-human trying to boss us around, we don't need another.", Green Lantern says creating a green arrow and pointing it at Batman, who hasn't said anything and is still looking at the tower.
He is listening to ALFRED who is giving him information about the situation.

[There are no casualties in Gotham, sir. Your decoys did good work on that. They are currently being brought inside the tower, just like you planned and will shortly connect to the hub if there is one.]
'Good work ALFRED. Tell Sebas and KGButler to be ready, we still need some coverage on the ground.', Batman thinks.
[As you say. I'll get them on the line right away.]

"Set the attitude aside, Lantern. It's the end of the world."
"Don't overreact. Superman might not say a lot, but he can fly and juggle trucks. The Flash is the fastest man alive. Wonder Woman can slice through an army and me?
I can do anything with this ring. So really, what can you do that we can't?"
Just as Green Lantern says this, a new horde of Parademons flies towards the group. Aquaman uses his powers and commands a group of sharks to attack.

"Never mind."
More Parademons attack them. But this time, that is not all. The military has arrived with choppers again and is firing at everything they see ... the heroes as well.
"Take cover!"

Batman sees this and mentally activates his drones. His suit suddenly begins to fly into the air and he shoots towards the first chopper he sees.
He lands inside the chopper. As luck would have it, it is the chopper that Colonel Trevor is in.
"I told you to hold your fire! Wonder Woman is down there!", he screams at his gunner.
"We read in- what the?", the gunner was about to say something when Batman enters the chopper.
"What the f*ck are you doing here? How did you get here?", Trevor asks and takes out a gun and points it at Batman. A big mistake ... because he doesn't care about him in the slightest.
"Stop right there!", he screams but Batman doesn't stop at all.
*BANG BANG BANG*
He pulls the trigger a few times but all the bullets bounce off, doing no damage at all. Batman takes out a small spray and sprays a bit at the Colonel's and the gunner's faces.
"What was th-"
*SNORE*
The two fall asleep and Batman pushes Trevor off the chair, like a piece of useless equipment.
*Thud*
His finger changes shape and he connects to the control of the chopper.
"Fine then ... I'll do it myself."

"Did ... did he just fly?"
"We have to shut them down", Superman says.
"Shut them down? They're U.S. soldiers, Superman.", the Flash says.
"They're men who are shooting at us.", Superman argues.
"They're only doing their job."
"You seem like someone who wants to do the right thing, but the same can't always be said for everyone in positions of authority.", Superman says and flies towards the choppers.
"We need to get those men out of the helicopters and somewhere safe.", Wonder Woman says. But then something strange happens.
The choppers suddenly stop firing at them and begin to get into formation. They rise high and get behind a particular chopper. And in that one ... sits Batman.
He has taken over the systems and is controlling the choppers remotely, while simultaneously having them shoot at the enemies.

"Is that ... who I think it is?"
"I think so."
"How did he get there?", Green Lantern says.
*BOOOM*
A boom tube suddenly opens and out of it comes Victor.
"I got this one.", Hal says but is stopped by Diana.
"Wait. It's not one of them."
"It's just a kid. Wearing armour.", Aquaman remarks.
"Who are you? Do you need help?", Wonder Woman asks.
"They go world to world ... He's coming ... right here."
"Who is?"
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM*
A giant yellow portal opens in the sky and from it ... a giant of a man walks out. His hands are glowing with red energy ... and as he lands ... a powerful shockwave shoots everything back.
