1 Chap. 1:Just a normal day camping then a bloodcurdling scream in the AM

My name is Culver Park I will be your Narrator as well as your go to character basically I'm telling my story of how we got to this point and just impressed that a grown 17 guy can scream like a school girl in a horror flick, because of mainly on the fact he was going to pee on a pillar of transportation and when the Guard captain stopped him is what made him scream. That moment changed all our lives plus we never let go of that moment and kept teasing our friend whenever he tried to bother one of us, Wow look at me getting ahead of the story let's start on why we were camping in the first place.

Again my name is Culver Park not a common name and growing up I was subjected to bullies even though I would try to fight back all the other kids were taller than me so all i could was swing around my arms and even though i would get bullied first i would be the first to be in trouble then one day at lunch a transfer student sat next to me his name was Jeremy he was my best-friend cuz when the bullies came to pester me he stood up and showed me how to fight then as the years went on and we started Junior high. We both met our new brothers and sisters we made a pact that year to always help each other out no matter what happens in our lives. Our resident tanker Darryl Trent he and I would always be in fights together mostly because of Kenna Goyle she always had a smart mouth she was not trying to come off as confrontational. If it wasn't for our Doctor aka Mina Dical, I'm sure your wondering why the nickname its on the count shes always fixing us up after a brawl in the school yard Darryl, Jeremy, and I(Culver) Jeremy bought her heavy duty medical bag and with her filled to the brim of a medical supplies she tends to keep a tablet filled with updated advancements in medical science even though she wanted to keep us safe by not having infections she felt that Jeremy always knew that Mina wanted to be a doctor that Kenna was meant to be the greatest Martial artist that Darryl could save people as a police officer and he thought I could make a good leader he suggested I run for mayor. Jeremy knew so much he was our light shining through the darkness always there, then one day he wasn't it near the end of our Graduation of Junior high Jeremy and his family was coming back from a camping trip when suddenly a tired driver fell asleep on the wheel and crashed into them causing the car to flip off and crashed underneath the bridge Jeremy's Parents were killed instantly Jeremy and her little sister Emma she was 2 years younger than us was never found.

No body was found at least the Sheriff's office said a trail of blood leading away from the crash site going towards the forest was shown but then nothing no tracks, we did search parties for six months Mina never gave up on the anniversary of his "disappearance". After 6 months of searching everyone stopped Mina never mourned she always felt that Jeremy was still alive and one day would come back into their live on she vowed that she could never fall in love with anyone ever again Mina could never accept it so as her best friends we supported her even though we had to accept they were gone to where who knows and thinking about stuff like that just isn't a good place to be. Darryl came up with the idea to get camping gear and camp out underneath the bridge since Mina would have out there to begin with we all convinced her to stay in one spot so if Jeremy ever came walking by we would be there to greet him. 3 yrs later were now Juniors in high school just 1 more year left since most of our birthdays are in the start of the year were 17 first and Mina has gotten depressed as if late she was told by her parents that their moving next year, her parents got new jobs and she decided shes gonna finish her medical training she already knows more than any doctor but this will he the last time she can come to Jeremy's resting place so as tradition we stay a day early and sleep one night there was something off that night Darryl and I(Culver) felt a weird presence staring at us then that night when we all fell asleep morning seem to come pretty fast, Darryl gets up to take a tinkle then a blood curdling scream like a little school girl from a horror movie(none of us let him live it down) so now were here staring at a bunch of guards and one woman from what we gather looks like a Mage seems to be our summoner.

The Mage wants us to go with her but we don't understand her we ask her to wait as we get properly dressed then we set off to what appears to be a floating kingdom the platform we were on was also floating Kenna just tells everyone to follow cuz were definitely not on earth anymore as she points to see a flock of Dragon kin riding what appears to be a winged beast the strange thing about this new world is the kingdom in the sky seems to be moving constantly is it because its that's what its always done or is it running away from something. While Kenna blurts that out, walking through the gate its the citizens tell another story we see suffering those who are starving and fighting for scraps, a depression and Famine fills the air within the kingdom. As we walk past the regular citizens we come to what we presume is the Noble district even the nobles look as if they are without provisions a line towards what looks like the tavern for rations we all look at each other knowing we have to do some Mina wants to help but the language barrier is the problem wherever this Mage is taking us we can feel that she needs to be at the castle to do something else and looking at the state of the City it seems that it must take a lot out of the Mage.
