'What's going on' Alter exclaimed in his heart

Alter could hear a voice explaining about the dimensional ones history, at the same time, he could see multiple scenes, most of them are about the war

No, calling it a war is inappropriate, it just one-sided massacre, and the one getting massacred were the dimensional ones

In some scenes it showed that the humans controlled some of the dimensional ones to make them fight each other

Multiple feelings surfaced in Alter heart, pain, hatred, grief and desire for revenge

[Ding....User completed quest]

After hearing the system notification, Alter regained his senses, the scenes that he had seen dissapeared, he found himself inside a tiny chamber, in front of him there was a old book

[Ding...User finished quest, activate the manual and the system will do the rest for user to get the auest reward]

'Oh right, i had that quest'

Alter picked up the book and focused on it

'How do i activate it' Alter thought to himself

After few moments , the book exploded, multiple golden runes burst out of it, the runes started hovering all over the tiny chamber, Some if them started changing, Alter could guess that it's the system doing

The runes now surrounded Alter, then they started entering him, Alter could feel a head splitting pain, but at the same time he could feel a refreshing feeling

After some minutes, The system said

[Ding....Successfully changed the 'Mind breaker' manual to 'Dice mage' manual]

[Ding....User successfully advanced, user became a expert stage 'Dice mage']

[Ding....User opened his sea of conscious, user now can use mental power]

[Ding....User mana purity became spirit mana level 1]

[Ding....User started affecting the surrounding, user gained Aura]

[Ding....User soul successfully fused with the body, mana recovery is faster, bloodline activated]

[Ding.... As user finally stabilized, user now can check his stats in status with no problem]

[Ding....As user unlocked mental power, 'Master of acting' effectiveness is now 100%]

[Ding... User acquired 'Full understanding' of basic runes]

Alter was excited when he listened to the system notification

'Status!' He shouted in his heart

'There's new stats huh, i guess that they're equal since i just advanced or something like that, oh, I am a dice mage? such a lame name, wait, a mage? does that means i can't train my physical body anymore?'

'Good thing, now, let check both aura and mental power!'

Alter started focusing, he could feel his aura, unlike mana which is stored inside him, the aura is surrounding him, he tried to place it inside him but he was unable to do so

'I guess that why it called aura' Alter thought to himself

Next, he checked his mental power, which is stored inside his sea of conscious

While checking his sea of conscious, he found about two weird things, the first one was like a ball of killing intent, the other one was unknown, but both of tem shared the point that they're made by mental power

He could feel a certain relation with the mental power that is emitting killing intent

'It should be the thing that makes the dimensional ones go berserk, but this familiar feeling.....Could it be?'

Alter instantly realized something, which resolved one of the mysteries he came upon arriving to this world

'This should be the main reason of me not panicking while being atacked by wolves, even thought my sea of conscious wasn't open, it should have somehow affected me, since it can even affect other dimensional ones who didn't unlock the sea of conscious'

After that, Alter focused on the the other mental power, his heart skipped a beat, he could feel like the mental energy he was focusing on wasn't even the tip of the iceberg, that mental power was a bit similar to his own, but it looked calm, mature and ... complicated, Alter started trembling and sweat formed in his back

'This...The system?!'

Alter was shocked

'How i didn't realize it sooner? something made accidentally by me wouldn't be capable of countering world laws! the system is something so complex , and i made it by accident? only a idiot would believe that! ehm, more importantly, the system isn't something simple, what's it objectives, what it plans to do to me'

Alter started contemplating and questioning everything

After a while, Alter wasn't confused anymore, He face was filled with pride, his eyes were radiating expressing his pasion

'It doesn't matter, as long as i am strong enough, nothing can stop me! I will get stronger and annihilate anything that wants to harm me! This is the path that i decided to walk, this is....my Resolve!'

'Eh wait, now that i think of it, this mental power looks like a system, and unlike mine, it lacks something....It lacks life and will!'

'Sigh, i was worried for nothing, but rhis doesn't change what i decided, i will get strong enough so that no one can stop me!'

Thus, Alter touched a rune in the tiny chamber, the runes signifies 'Start'.

And so, Alter started his first adventure
