Diary of an Otherworlder

In the distant future a desperate Emperress of a "United Earth" wants to use an incomplete machine that can alter reality to bring back her dead family in her madness. Our main character Alexander was the one to accidentally build the machine and is the forgotten nephew and last family member of the desperate and mad Emperress. As the Emperress tries and forces Alexander to use the machine to bring back their dead family, the machine fails to do so as it is facing a paradox of it's creation. In the end the machine recreates the universe with magic and untold wonder and danger. now all we know is that Alexander at some point finds/creates a magic diary that records his life in (Mostly) real time.
