Tenth Entry: Inner Talent

Day 3 Water

It is the third day of Winter and my innate powers still has not awakened. To me I don't mind being magicless, but as a royal from a magic kingdom, it's a bit odd to not have any magical abilities. Not to mention the bragging and teasing I have to listen to from others, especially the harsh comments from the nobles and my royal family members. The adults are even worse than the children. If they're not looking at me with pity, they're looking at me with disappointment or with contempt.

If my father was not a prince and my grandparents was not the King and Queen, I'm sure my little life would be ignored and no one would care that I'm magicless.

Sadly, I was born a princess.

Even without magic, I'm actually a very talented person when it comes to non-magical talents. My home tutor praises me every day on how I can grasp the information she teaches me with ease. She claims I have the intelligent of a genius. I also have a knack for singing, drawing and poetry. I'm not sure what a knack is, so I asked one of my maids, since my mother was too busy. I have no clue why my home tutor couldn't just say I have talent for those forms of art.

Oh! It would be so cool if my innate talent has something to go with singing. If I remember correctly, my aunt Lydia mention we have a sea person in our family that charms animal and people by singing.

Or maybe I can develop the innate talent of creation. I read somewhere before that some people can bring their own drawings to life.

Not sure about poetry, though.
