11 The First Option Part 4

Okay okay I'm coming, Mom! My mother asking me to get the phone. Hello, upon hearing her voice I knew it was Cherry. She was crying, "I need help I need to go to the hospital", my parents are away this weekend. Please Jill hurry! I need at least 20 minutes by bus but I'll go now.

The ambulance carrying Cherry and Me went so fast I can see cars give way for us. She was burning up and she was sweating lots. The nurse said you have an elevated blood pressure Miss, just calm down. It's gonna be okay Cher, "You will be taken care off properly", I reassured her. Thanks for coming Jill even if it's a Saturday. Don't think about me now, the important thing now is You and Pommy.🐏🚼

The nurse got Cher on a Stretcher and said it's an emergency, she is just started to bleed. I went ahead to the Nurse Station, and they told me to wait for announcement from the doctor in the waiting room. Okay Got it, Cher please be okay. A good two hours went by, and a female doctor went in the waiting room and asked for a guardian of Cherry Francine Syl. I told her I accompanied her because her parents are not in the city. They told me to call them, but I hesitated and lied they were out of the country. Okay, you would just have to come with me then, she said. Oh no, I hope I did the right thing.😨

I went in the recovery room, and Cher was not awake. The doctor asked me if I could handle the information and I said "Yes"!, firmly but calmly. I do have here the patient's record and she has a burst appendix, so we removed it, while we did that her blood test showed she is currently 3 to 4 weeks pregnant, did her parents know about this? I couldn't hide my face, so I said "No", they don't. Okay now I understand why you said they were not aware their daughter is in the emergency. "Yes", sorry about that I told her, she didn't know if she really was pregnant until last week she said her cramps are so bad, she thought she was just having a bad period. I was going to come with her check up, so we could finally confirm it. That's good to know she has a good friend with her, even though she should have told an adult, she might have had lost the baby if the ambulance didn't come at once. I'm really truly sorry about not telling anyone, I felt she was afraid they might get disappointed and lash out at her. Since it has already come to this, here are my advice to you and her, I listed for her prenatal vitamins and her schedule for checkup. Please give it to her once she's awake, and call her parents right away. Thank you, Doctor for taking care of her. My tears rolled down my face, she smiled at me. Young people just be careful of yourselves, and the baby. Yes, we will take care of the Pommy.

Cherry whispered to me while I was about to doze off the bedside. Cher? how are you I asked her, how do you feel?, do you want me to call your parents now?. She said, Jill, please don't tell them yet, I will call them once the medication has subsided, I'm still quite dizzy. Thanks for being here. Uhm, the doctor told me something, and okay I will not call your Mom. What is it the doctor said?, Cher, you are pregnant!. She said you're almost a month into the first trimester. It's a very dangerous time for you, and you had an appendectomy. Ouch, my stitches hurt. Don't move so much, here's your medicine and vitamins. But you can't drink them yet. I smiled at her, you take care of Pommy, Okay?, She smiled back and said Thanks Jill so much for being here. I really am glad although I'm afraid, I know Pommy is a blessing. My first option is to be healthy and take care of her. It will be alright, don't be afraid your parents will understand you. I hugged her softly on her head. 😳😊😷
