97: Arrest

Sui could only guess what happened that caused everyone to lose their minds.

The officers did not look happy to be there, but Sui could tell they would not ignore their duty either.

So, she welcomed them inside so these officers could quickly look around her room and leave her alone.

When the officer asked Sui to open her drawer, her heart beat in fear. She did not want to show her drawer to anyone since it contained material that was beyond a slave's ability to procure.

But the officer's order was absolute, and Sui was forced to open the drawer so they could look around inside.

"Hmm, let me see. Nope! That headpiece is not here. You can close the drawer now."

The officer commented, which caused Sui's heart to calm down. Once she was in the clear, she was able to breathe easier.
