Zeux opened his eyes and discovered a white space with no ups and downs. Looking in every direction gives him an idea that such place ends nowhere.

The two formless light became a giant tree that could reach the endless sky and a river that flowed into endless horizon. The white space transformed into an endless plain of grassland. The place was well-lighted and the air was cool.

This was an emergency warning. The whole city was under attack. A horde of demon beast was running toward the direction of Orthon City.
The soldiers gathered above the defense wall. The normal citizens hid inside the underground shelters.
Zeux went above the defense wall together with volunteer citizens. The military force of Orthon City was composed of 20,000+ combat soldiers, 100+ mages, and 200+ high ranking officials. According to the scouts, the horde of demon beast were numbered at 100,000+. So they asked the able citizens to help defend the city.
Zeux stood there listening.
"The last time we were attacked it was 10 years ago."
"Yeah! It nearly destroyed the city."
"But the demon horde at that time was at 10,000. What about now?"
He also noticed the commotion above the main gate of the city. He hid his presence and became stealth.
"The high ranking officials except General Bast and General Brooke escaped the city with 10,000 soldiers and all the mages. They were led by the Prime Minister. They also brought 70% of the treasury."

The horde of demon beast arrived. Their eyes are red and hungry. They are in berserk mode.
