Diamonds Aren't Forever

Avalon has for centuries been teaming with magic. Feafrul mortals began preforming their own executions of those who wielded it, and some concerned brought it to King Robins attention. He set his knights out to stop the magic that ravaged the land to protect all of his people from fear and from slaughter. When they prevailed in sealing off the cave of magic and it seemed all was looking up, sudden illness struck the King. With his death the Prince had been discovered to be practicing witchcraft, and was burned alive at the steak for blame of his fathers death. War broke out, and after a year the Morningstars were victorious. Though not much was known about them from the start, their presence becomes much more eerie with the disappearance of two of their family members when they arrived to their new residence. Nothing else seemed out of place, not until the crown touched Damian Morningstars head. The earth shook and the seal on the cave had broken. Magic was free once again in Avalon, and suddenly the Morningstars faced an undeniable truth that they, and many of their people were far from human.
