36 Chapter 35

After the match ended, both groups decided it was time to have a barbeque.

A lot of food was used as the smell permeated the area. Everyone rushed for the food as they stiffed their mouths like animals who were starving.

It was relaxing as everyone was enjoying themselves and making new friends. Groups formed as sounds of laughter filled the place.

Away from them Drake and Elden were sitting together as they are their share of the food while talking about the matches that occurred.

" That last volleyball match was fucking awesome! I didn't expect that to be so much fun! "

" Same. First time adding magic to a sport. I think it went well. "

" It did better than that!! "

"Meh. Anyway Drake can I ask you a question? " Elden asked.

Drake went silent as he looked at the seriousness on Eldens face. He wasn't playing around.

" Sure go ahead. "

" What do you think about this kingdom? " Elden asked.

Drake took in a deep breath and exhaled.

" When I became captain I learned three things.

Firstly, the kingdom is shitty!! " Drake said with a serious dramatic face and voice.

( basically Nanami when he first talked to Yuji )

" Secondly, the royals are pieces of shit!! " Drake said with the same serious dramatic face and voice.

" Lastly, the king is a pathetic piece of shit!!! " Drake said with same face before reverting back to his original form and took a bite out of the bacon.

" I see. " Elden said with a straight face. Inside however....

' Holy shit!! That was hilarious! '

" I know why you asked me that question? You want to take down the king and the royals. You want me to join. "

" Yes. Your answer? " Elden asked as he looked at drake.

" I refuse! " Drake said as he looked at Elden.It took every once of Eldens willpower to not yell out..

" That was Jojo reference!! "

Elden calmed his inner turmoil as he asked Drake another question.

" Why? "

" Simple really. I like fighting. Between a coup and a fucking a war with the Clover Kingdom, the fight with the Clover Kingdom is just a much better option.

I can let loose. No holding back and let loose all the frustration I have from being a captain while finally having a satistfiying fight.

I get to kill off two birds with one fucking war!!" Drake said before laughing in pure joy before calming down.

He looked at Elden who was thinking. Drake sighed as he knew Elden will try to change his mind.

" If your thinking about trying to guilt trip or some other bullshit to make me help you, you won't be leaving here alive. " Drake said nonchanontly.

" Why would I? I mean there's a much better and fun way to get you on my side. " Elden said with a cheerful attitude as he took another piece of bacon.

" Oh really. What is your idea? " Drake asked curiously.

" We have a match between the 2 of us. " Elden said with a smirk as Drake looked at him.

" At first you had my curiosity, now you have my attention. "

" Basically if I win you'll join in on the coup. But if you win all the people who joined the coup will help you with your goal. " Elden said with a smile.

Drake eyes widened before he started to laugh quickly sounding like an hyena. He spoon stopped as he looked at Elden with a battlecrazed smile.

" When will we fight. " Drake asked.

" Right after we enjoy our meal. " Elden said as he went back to eating his food.

" Fine with me. "

Using Kamui Elden took Drake and himself into one of the dimensions he had made.

" So this is where we will fight. " Drake commented as he looked around.

There was nothing in the way. It was barren so going all out was an option and they wouldn't harm the kingdom in any way.

" Yep. "

" I see. Where are Mark and Rachael? " Drake asked.

" I sent them with Mars, Fana and Ladros to another dimension which is connected to this one. They can watch the entire fight without getting hurt or interrupt us. "

" Okay then. So how are we going to start? "

" Simple. " Elden said as he picked up a rock.

" The moment the rock falls to the ground, the battle will begin. " Elden said.

Meanwhile in the other dimension.

" Oi Mars, Pass the popcorn! Fights about to start Ladros said as he sat down in front of their viewing screen that showed Drake and Elden facing each other.

" Sure. Here you go. " Mars said in a monotone voice as he passed Ladros the popcorn.

" Your captain is incredible. " Rachael said as she looked around. The dimension was small and they could view the battle easily while sitting on the couch that Elden put in there.

" You're right about that. " Fana said as she grabbed Rachael to the couch.

" He is incredible. " Fana said with a sincere tone.

" Everyone shut up and stop talking! The match is going to start. " Ladros said as he looked at the screen. Mars, Mark, Fana and Rachael sat down and looked at the screen.

Elden waved his hand as the stone flew into the air. It went to its peak height before falling towards the ground.

Elden and Drake bodies tensed as they stared at each other. The rock got closer and closer to the ground.

* plunk *

Elden and Drake disappeared as all that was left was a gush of wind.

* boom *

Elden and Drake went straight for each other as their punches connected. The ground cracked beneath them as large chunks were raised from the ground.

Elden and Drake backed off from each other but attacked each other again with a flurry punches.

* boom boom boom boom *

Each time their punches connected the surrounding area got damaged as dust started to rise as well as large chunks of earth.

Drake and Elden jumped back from each other. While in the air Drake gathered mana in his hand as electricity formed.

He pushed his hand forward as a beam of lighting charged towards Elden. Elden kept calm as he teleported, dodging the attack.

He went behind Drake as Drake turned and faced him.

Drake smirked as he coated himself in lighting and disappeared from view. Elden did the same as they attacked each other.

They moved around the battlefield exchanging punches and kicks with each other. Drake coated his hand in a large amount of lighting as he went to strike Elden.

Elden saw this and parried his punch, pushing it away from him with his left hand. Elden then twisted his body as he punched Drake in the gut with his hand.

Drake spat some saliva as he flew back from the punch. He flipped in the air as he skidded on the ground trying to stop.

He didn't through as he used th momentum yo dodge the incoming punch from Elden which hit the ground.

* Boom *

A crator formed from the force as Drake escaped. Elden didn't let up as he teleported right in front of Drake.

Drakes eyes widened as he saw Eldens punch already in front of his face. The punch from Elden connected as he skid back from the punch.

Stopping himself Drake looked at Elden as he spat out the blood that was in his mouth before grinning.

Elden had a smirk on his face as he looked at Drake.

" Well I say that's good enough to be considered a warm up. Don't you think? " Elden asked he stretched a bit more.

" You're right. Honestly I'm excited. I'll be able to release all this pent up stress from dealing with the bullshit known as paperwork!! " Drake yelled as he started at Elden.

Without warning a massive lighting bolt descended into to Elden teleported away.

The lighting struck the ground and a crator was formed in its place.

' Mana zone. ' Elden thought as he looked at Drake.

" Time to get this show started. " Drake said with a grin.

Elden looked at him. Drake was a few feet away from him. Elden blinked and Drake was right in front of him with his fist closing in to hit his face.

Drakes punch went straight through Eldens head as well as the rest of his body.

" Ehh??! " Drake uttered as he went crashing into the ground. He then began rolling forward before stopping and stood up.

" What the fuck wa that?! " Drake yelled as he pointed as he pointed his finger at Elden.

" What's what? " Elden asked with an innocent face.

" What you did a few seconds ago! " Drake yelled.

" You mean saying ' Whats what? '? " Elden asked with a calm expression while his eyes danced with mischief.

Drake had tick marks on his head at Eldens bullshit.

Mars, Ladros, Fana, Mark and Rachael though were laughing at how funny the scene was.

" Haha it's always funny to see it happen to someone else. " Fana said with a smile on her face.

Back to the battle however Drake calmed down as he stayed on gaurd against whatever Elden did to allow him to go through him.

' Sigh never gets old. For now let's not use it again. ' Elden waited as Drake knew what he would do.

Drake channelled lightning into his hands as he strikes the ground. The lightning discharged as it broke the ground.

Elden teleported between the lightning strikes as Drake continued to do what he did. Drake then stopped as he disappeared.

Elden stopped and immediatly looked up. Above him were rocks falling straight towards the ground.

Elden watched as Drake grabbed one of the rocks and threw it at Elden.

The broke through the sound barrier as it went towards Elden who dodged easily. Drake however didn't let up as he chucked more rocks at him.

Elden dodged before teleporting and one of the rocks that wee falling and grabbed onto it like Drake.

Drake grinned as he flickered towards Elden. Elden saw him and waited for him to come over to him.

Drake got close to him and created a spear out lightning. Grabbing it and tending his arm he threw it at Elden.

The spear travelled faster than the thrown rock but Elden wasn't worried. As the spear was about to pierce him, it inside smashed straight through a stone.

Drake eyes widened as he turned around.

* wham *

* boom *

As he turned around he got kicked in the face by Elden and rocketed off to the ground creating a massive creator with him in the center.

Dust covered the battle field as Elden just floated in the air as he looked down at Drakes location.

' Still not down yet. Have to to admit that armour looks so fucking cool. ' Elden thought as he stared at the lightning armour covering Drakes body.

Drake stood still before tilting his head upwards and stared at Elden with same excited grin from the beginning.

' This is so much fun!! ' Drake thought.

Elden looked at him before disappearing and reappeared right in front of Drake. They looked at each other before Drake rushed at Elden leaving a trail of lightning behind him.

Elden wasn't fazed as he grinned teleported away as his punch was about to reach him. Drake didn't stop as he quickly followed Elden.

As Elden reappeared he immediatly bent his body backward at a 90 degree angle as Drake flew right above him with his right leg extended.

Drake noticed and twisted his body gathering lightning on his leg and swung it at Elden.

A lightning dragon appeared as it rushed at Elden. Elden just kept grinning as he looked at the dragon. He lifted his right hand towards it.

' Almighty push. '

The dragon stopped directly in front of Elden by an invisible force but the force didn't stop as it went right through the dragon and destroyed it.

Elden looked in front of him with the same grin before disappearing as a leg took the place of were he was before.

Drake eyes widened as he felt danger from behind him. He quickly made his mana go to his face to protect him as a lightning helmet formed.

* boom *

He was then launched back by Elden who kicked him in the face. Drake rocketed back and smashed through some stone before landing on his feet, skidding to a stop.

He quickly got ready as Elden appeared in front of him. Drake dodged and ran to the left as a bolt of lightning attacked Elden.

Elden just teleported again to Drake as he blocked a punch. He got blown back a few feet as another bolt attacked Elden from his left side.

Elden dodged again as Drake rushed at him.

This continued as Elden manuvered through lightning bolts that cane at him from all directions and Drakes kicks and punches.

Soon enough Drake lured in Elden as he fought Elden in hand to hand. Elden counters his attacks before Drake grinned and moved away.

Elden looked calm as a bolt appeared right in front of him. However he didn't attempt to dodge as he stood there...

Taking the striker of multiple bolts that were surrounding him.

From the attack a large explosion took place as the ground was carved up. Dust was scattered everywhere.

As it went away Drake saw a massive crator with someone at the center. Knowing who it was he disappeared from his spot and reappeared behind him.

He placed his palm to Eldens side before releasing a massive lightning strike that went through multiple mountains.

" Guess it's my win. " Drake said as he grinned.

" You sure about that? "

Drake stopped smiling as he looked at Elden who was standing with a grin plastered on his face.

" How did you... "

" Simple. You never even touched me. " Elden said as confusion was shown on Drakes face.Boticing this Elden raised his hand.

" Come closer and check for yourself. " Elden said.

Drake didn't and stayed back as he stayed on gaurd.

" Come on. " Elden said as he waved his hand back and forth.

Drake still didn't budge.

" Come on, come on, come on. " Elden said as he waved his hand more and stepped closer to Drake.

' Well it can't hurt to see how. ' Drake thought.

Drake went forward and raised his hand. He pressed against Eldens and his eyes widened.

" See. "

' It's not getting any closer. '

" You never hit me. You just hit the infinity between us. However while you can't touch me, I can touch you with now problems even when your hands are covered in lightning. " Elden said as Drakes eyes widened further before they narrowed.

* wham *

However he immediatly hunched forward as Elden used his left hand for palm strike to Drakes chest.

Drake spat out blood as he looked at Elden who just looked at him with a grin.

* wham *

* wham *

* wham *

Elden strikes him three times before kicking him backwards as Drake was blown back and skidded across the ground.

He tried to straighten himself but Elden appeared in front of him and grabbed his face and threw him upward and then kicked him in the face.

* Boom *

Drake went flying as he collided with the ground creating another crator as dust was released.

Inside the crator Drake layed on his back as his lightning armour dissipated. His clothes were torn and there many bruises on his body from all the physical attacks from Elden.

The black eye he has on his face is the most distinctive.

Drake looked up as he saw Eldne in front of him.

" It's my win. You know what that means right?"

" Yeah I do. " Drake said as he sighed.

" But still though that was a great fight. "

" It was. " Elden said as he nodded his head.

" Lets go get you fixed up. " Elden said as he grabbed Drake and used kamui to go back.
