Chapter 16

The sun rose on the beautiful morning as the beautiful orange rays fell on top of Fana. Fana didn't wake up as she just layed on her bed enjoying the warmth while dreaming...

" Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh.... Cough. Cough.. Ha.. Haa.. Who the fuck poured cold water over me!!! "

' Ladros! ' Fana thought when she heard the voice. She got up from the bed as she opened her door to see both Ladros and Mars soaking wet.

" Was it you??!! " Ladros yelled as he pointed at Mars.

Mars said nothing as he glared at Ladros. His face asking ' Are you a fucking idiot??!! Im also soaking wet!! ' .

Ladros understood the message as he throwed insults at Mars who just gave faces which pissed Ladros off.

' What's going on? ' Fana thought as she looked at them.

" Good morning. "

Ladros, Mars and Fana jumped a little as they calmed down and looked at where the voice came from.

They saw their captain standing in front of them with a smile in his face.

" So how was your morning wake up call? " Elden asked with a grin on his face.

At that Ladros then let a war cry as he then attacked Elden. He quickly rushed at him at tried to grab him so he could absorb Elden magic.

Mars on the other hand was shaking in anger as tried to not attack Elden and just watched. His anger quickly went down as he watched Elden mess around with Ladros.

Fana was giggling quietly as she watched the interaction. Elden had a smile before bonking Ladros on the head as he fell to the floor.

" OWWWWW. What was that for?!! " Ladros yelled.

" While this very entertaining we have stuff to do so... "

Just like before they felt someone grab them before being dropped in an open field.

Ladros, Mars and Fana looked around as they saw a green plain all around them. No trees in sight.

* Clap*Clap*

They turned around to face Elden.

" Okay I brought you here to test your skills for myself. You will attack me all at once. If you want to work together that's fine. Attack me own on one is also fine.

This fight will be for ten minutes starting now."

It took a few seconds for it to sink in before Ladros let out a war cry as he charged at Elden.

Elden watched as he approached before dodged his attacks while moving around. He then grabbed Ladros ankle when he went for a roundhouse kick and threw him away.

He then jumped to the right as a crystals attacked him. He then dodged again by bending his back as a fire ball quickly flew over him.

Ladros saw the crystals on the ground and absorbed them. He looked at Elden who was dodging effortlessly against Mars and Fana.

Ladros found an opening as he rushed in and tried to punch Elden in the face with his fist covered in crystal.

Fana noticed and went behind Elden launching a blast of fire. Mars saw this and attacked from above with a giant crystal fist.

Elden just watched as the attacks come down onto him.

' Should I teleport? Na. Let's just surprise them. '

' Shinra tensei. '

As the attacks reached Elden who was standing still the attacks were then blown back as they got cancelled.

Ladros, Fana and Mars could do nothing as they were blown back by the force, slamming into trees. Luckily they took harder hits so they were fine.

They got up and looked at Elden.

" What? Did you think I become captain at 15 by sitting on my ass doing nothing. I'm still going easy on you. Anyways you have 7 minutes left. " Elden said with a smile.

The three of them grit their teeth as they looked at him. They knew about this trick since he used it to stop Mars attack against Fana in the exam.

Ladros grit his teeth as he slammed his hands in the ground as crystal spikes rose up from the ground and charged towards Elden.

As they got closer Elden just stood there as the crystals hit there mark. However they shattered on impact.

That was fine as Ladros then appeared in front of Elden as attacked with an open palm. He reached out to touch the barrier around Elden to absorb it.

Fana saw this coming so she quickly threw a large amount of fire at Eldens back. She knew that Ladros would absorb her magic and get stronger if he dodged.If he didn't dodge, Ladros would touch his barrier absorbing it and the fire would hit him.

Elden saw this and quickly dodged Ladros punch. He then grabbed Ladros and put him in front of him. He deactivated his barrier and made sure no magic was on his hands so Ladros couldn't absorb it.

Ladros saw the incoming fire and absorbed it out of fear. Fana and Mars were shocked at Elden move. Mars quickly made ordered the clones he made to fire the arrows.

Once Ladros was finished absorbing the fire Elden threw him at Mars with a lot of force as the 2 went crashing backwards into the trees.

The arrows that were fired approached Elden but before they could they then disappeared for a moment before reappearing above the clones. Each arrow pierced one clone as they then shattered into pieces.

Elden then avoided Fanas fire covered fist. She attacked again but Eldne just dodged and parried. She then added in fients but it was still not working.

Suddenly a multiple blasts of fire went towards Elden. Fana retreated as Elden looked at the fire coming at him.

Elden then dodged each on with relative ease. Ladros was getting annoyed. All Elden has down up till now is dodge. He wasn't even taking this seriously.

Ladros put his arms in front of him as he gathered his magic to attack Elden. As he was charging Elden suddenly appeared in front of him.

Ladros eyes widened from the pain as Elden burried his fist into Ladros gut. Ladros lost control over the magic he absorbed as he fell unconscious.

Elden caught Ladros before he fell. He then teleported towards Fana and Mars. Fana was healing Mars with her healing fire spell Phoenix robe.

Mars saw him and got ready to use magic but stopped when saw Elden raise his hand.

" Tests over. "
