11 Chapter 10

' Sigh those old geezers are just annoying as fuck. Really they had to test me by sending me here!! '

It's been 3 years and life as moved on. The old hag and me made a deal. She has information on most of the kingdom.

I use her as my information broker. In exchange I have to do jobs for her. Ranging assisnation to me cooking for her.

Apparently my food is delicious so she wants more as do the 2 kids. Touya and Winter have been excellent students. I feel proud. Karasuma sensei must have felt like this.

Both of them improved by leaps and bounds when I taught them. When the old hag wasn't also teaching them.

Currently I'm on a test. 3 years and I've gained some fame apparently. I'm the guy who rose up in mission ranks the fastest.

I started from the bottom before rising to rank of taking the toughest missions easily. Which gained the attention of the geezers and king.

I suspect they were already keeping an I out for me while I do missions. As shown when they sent people to watch me.

I just acted normal as they watched me kill magical beasts. Yes. You heard me. This is a world with elves and devil's. If magical beasts did not exist I would call BS.

Anyway I went to the place where magical beasts roam freely without any humans going near them.

I went and killed all the ones of that I needed. As I double checked the things I needed I put meat over the fire and sprinkled spices on top.

" Lets see.

Salamander scales. Check.

Spider silk. Check.

Bull meat. Check.

Eagle eggs. Check.

That's the last of them. Okay the foods ready. Let's eat. "

I bit into the meat as enjoyed myself as I kept an eye out for the ones following me. In this case one person.

' A woman. She's strong. Her magic levels are high and she hides her presence well. Let's give her a visit. '

" You can come out now. I know you're following me. "

She obviously doesn't come out so I teleport next to her in an instant and come back putting her on a chair.

She's a bit shocked and on high alert.

" Would you relax? You were following me. You know I can do that. Anyway meat? "

I hand her some meat as she took from my hands. She was wearing a fox mask. She looks at me.

" I won't tell anyone. I have no friends to tell too anyway. "

She looks for any lies before lifting her mask off. She was beautiful. That's all I can say.

She had snow white skin with a delicate face. Had black eyes and black hair. She had long thick legs with about c cup beasts and a thin waist.

I admired her beauty for the seconds I had before watching her eat the meat quickly. She finished it and looked at me.

" Can I have more? " She asked. Her voice was soft but had a nice ring to it.

" Sure. Have another one. " I saw. She takes it and eats it. I take mine and enjoy it as well.

" So how did i do? " She looks at me.

" Don't play dumb. I know that I was being tested. My sensei gave me a heads up. When you were following me I knew you were grading me. So how did i do? "

She looked at me.

" Well you did great. You're skill surpasses other mages and puts you on par with the captain's. However I don't know where to rank you. "

" I see. "

' The kingdom has 6 captain's at the moment.

The 6th strongest is captain Leonardo. He uses fire magic. Like his magic he's hot headed.

The 5th strongest is captain Lisanna. She uses aroma magic. She can use different aromas on people. Her magic is underrated. It's more deadly than most would think.

The 4th strongest is captain Rose. She uses wind magic. She uses it in ranged and close range combat with hand to hand. I would diffently spar with her.

The 3rd strongest is captain Joker. He uses illusions and he isn't in a clown costume. He does use cards as weapons that can cut through trees.

The 2nd strongest is captain Lance. He uses steel magic. Can make steel and manipulate at will. He can even make liquid steel.

The strongest is captain Drake. He uses lightning magic. He can cover himself in lightning and can move faster than most people.

Well this is getting fun. '

" So what now? "

" We head back. The king, and captains will give you a verdict. "

" I see. Well then let's go back. "

I pack everything and caught up to her.

" Shouldn't leave people behind. " I say with a smile.

" You would have caught up. " She said with her mask on.

I said nothing as we headed back.
