14 Our leader

Yoongi held the baby in his hand and huffed, "Tell me why I was chosen to take care of the baby?" The group encircling him chuckled as they continued walking to their destination to hide from the chaos upon the palace.

"I may be your mate but there is no way I would want to be assigned for taking care of the baby. Besides it doesn't cry when it's in ur hands." Yoongi's mate Eunbyeol stated causing Hoseok and his mate, Yujin, to laugh afterwards.

Unexpectedly a small group of vampires covered with crimson blood and terribly injured came upon their view, "Namjoon!" One shouted noticing the male.

"Suyeon what the fuck happened?" He questioned hurrying to their side, a few witches came and attempted on healing their wounds however they were extremely severe.

Suyeon tried to catch his breath from the exhaustion he had obtained, sweat trickling down his forehead, "T-the council they appeared from no where and slaughtered practically all the higher ranked beings."

"What about my brother, Seunghyun and Daehee?" The purple haired male immediately asked, hoping for the answer to be what he wanted. Suyeon gave a sympathetic look to the male, not answering the question but the silence was already enough for Namjoon to know what happened.

Yujin not being able to comprehend the new information, he wondered why this has occurred, "Hold on why the fuck would the council do this in the first place? They had not interfered with us in how bloody long." 

"I'm not sure but for the beings still alive, they're being compelled and separated - apparently they're planning on dividing everyone into groups." Another vampire injured announced, finally being able to speak as he was being healed.

Out of no where a group of witches emerged from the trees surrounding them, they smirked and attacked unexpectedly, causing everyone to panic and retaliate instantaneously.

Eunbyeol bellowed at the rest of the group, not wasting any time, Hoseok and Yujin fighting them off in the meanwhile, "EVERYONE LEAVE US TO FIGHT OFF THESE BITCHES, PROTECT THE BABY AND GO."

Namjoon was hesitant to leave but he knew he had to for the sake of his friends and brother; Yoongi handed the baby over to Namjoon and fought off the witches beholding them.

With the baby, the purple haired vampire and group of others protecting him escaped to their hidden destination. Underground was an abandoned room that no one had known about aside from the people refusing to fight.

They swiftly entered and locked the entrance of the room instantly, waiting for the outcome to happen. A few hours passed by and they could hear the voices of Yoongi and Hoseok, "OPEN UP."

Opening the entrance then locking it straight afterwards, witches within casted spells to heal the two males as Namjoon gazed upon his two melancholic friends. Yoongi didn't utter a word, contemplating at the ground whilst Hoseok was in tears, the atmosphere of the room was devastating and unfortunate.

Yujin, Eunbyeol, Seunghyun, Daehee, Hwansoo and several other innocent beings, having their lives taken away. Though they survived it felt like a loss. No one dared to break the silence of the room, only uncontrollable sobs and hiccuping filled the soundless  area. The baby began crying all of a sudden, catching everyones attention.

Yoongi took a deep breath and directed his sight to the child in Namjoon's hands - The purple haired male glanced at the werewolf who gave a slight nod, taking the baby from his hands, resulting in the child to stop crying.

"What's his name." The werewolf spoke, breaking the silence around them. Hoseok wiped his tears but kept his head still low, he glanced at the child who gave a cute smile.

Namjoon thought a while before answering, he had a slight flashback to the the conversation that Haneul had with him. He chuckled at the thought and knew what the baby's name shall be, "Jungkook."

Yoongi gave a short gummy smile, the mood lightening up within the room, "What a dumb name." Hoseok commented making everyone laugh shortly.

"It's dumb but we'll protect him with our life. Everyone's sacrifice today will not go in vain, we'll get our vengeance at one point by slaughtering the council and lifting their stupendous laws." Namjoon announced knowing what feeling everyone shared within the room.

The purple haired male gazed upon the adorable child, Jungkook, smiling. "Our leader." He stated unexpectedly, everyone's vision changing to the baby, bowing down respectfully and repeating what Namjoon said.
