40 The War Begins

Two weeks after the Rating game took place went by in a flash.

During that time Rias and her peerage returned to school.

Everything happened just like in canon. Issei busted into the engagement party and went balance break on Riser's ass defeating him, with the assistance of holy water. And the added assistance of the biggest sis-con in anime Sirzechs.

Otherwise there is no way Issei would have been able to get away with that shit. He would have been killed on sight if the crimson-haired satan wasn't helping him from the shadows.

But that's just how much Sirzechs loves his little sister. No one can rival him, in that regard.

Well except maybe Lelouch.

Anyway, everything has returned to normal.

Another point, Issei didn't sacrifice his arm like in canon. Before he went to the engagement party he actually came to my home and begged me for some advise on how to save Rias. It gave me a good laugh. But in the end I helped the guy out.

Because if Rias really did marry Riser then that piece of shit would have definitely tried to lay his hands on Akeno and I couldn't allow that. She is my women whether she knows it or not.

That's why I told Issei to trade a part of his to Ddraig for power, but the part I told him to trade was his heart. Now the pervert has a dragon's heart, with draconic blood flowing throughout his entire body.

It's not only increased his physical abilities, but he's gained even greater senses as well.

He told me one day in class that he could smell the shampoo of one of the girls in class, even though she was sitting in the front row.

So I generously explained his situation to him and detail, and even gave him a training regiment to help adjust to his newfound body. I also told him to stop being a pussy and just bang Rias and Asia already because they were obviously head over heels for him.

You are probably wondering why I am helping Issei out so much? It's simple.

The school bell rang and classes came to and end for the day.

Once they did I headed straight home and started to read some manga.

Then only an hour passed before I sensed the familiar presence of holy energy being broadcast throughout the entirety of Kuoh Town. Whoever was doing it wasn't even trying to hide their presence.

Which told me Kokabiel had arrived.

As soon as I realized this I called everyone to the living room. Even Irina and Xenovia.

"He has arrived." I told them. "Kokabiel is finally making his move."

"I will contact Lady Krul immediately." Chess said.

"I will call Shoei." Dominque said.

I nodded at the both of them. I then looked at Irina and Xenovia. "Remember our deal. Stay here and stay out of this. Then when this is all over I will return the Excalibur fragments to you and you may return them to the church. Are we clear?"

Both of them nodded.

These past three weeks with us made them realize they could trust us to get the job done. I smiled at that.

I then turned my attention back to the others. "Jeanne stay here in case things go sideways. Everyone esle come with me. We have a wannabe elf to great." I said.

Everyone nodded.

Once they did Gin, Morgan, Lancelot, and Valerie gathered around me. I then activated a teleportation spell and we instantly arrived at the location the holy energy was emanating from.

A few seconds later both Rias's peerage and Sona's peerage showed up.

As soon as they did a barrier went up around our location.

A section of woods near Kuoh Academy.

Once it was placed a man stepped out of the trees with a smile on his face.

Valper Galilei.

The pedophile priest with the major hard-on for Excalibur.

"Valper!" Kiba shouted. He then summoned a sword and got prepared to attack him.

But before he could Lancelot appeared in front of him and punched him in the gut, knocking him out in one blow.

"Kiba!" Rias shouted. She then glared at me. "Kufa, what the hell?!"

'Oh, using my given name so casually?' I thought. She's quite arrogant. But given the situation I will let it out.

"Calm your tits Rias. Your knight is just unconscious not dead." I explained to her. "You should be thanking me, we just saved his life after all. If he had tried to kill that pedophile over there he would have ended up dead."

Valper looked at me. "Pedophile, no dear boy you are mistaken, I am no-"

"-yada, yada, yada!" I interrupted him, making mouth motions with my left hand. "I don't want to here any lame excuses out of your mouth Galilei. I called you what you are. A pedophile. What else do you call a man who actively experimented, and tortured young children, and then killed them when they were no longer of use? Tell me, how hard did you cum with that filthy dick of yours when you slaughtered them? On second thought, don't. I won't ever be able to clear that answer from my ears no matter how hard I try."

Valper frowned at me.

Meanwhile Rias looked at me in complete shock.

"Kufa, you know about the Holy Sword Project?" She asked me.

I turned to her, giving her a deadpan look. "Yes." I said. "Really Rias, think for a moment would you? If you all were able to obtain information on us, then it's a simple fact we were able to obtain information on all of you. Before we came here we learned the history's of all supernaturals in this town. So that means we know why your knight just tried to attack Valper. An idiotic move by the way. But then again he is an idiot so I guess its a moot point."

"Idiot!" Rias roared. "How you can you call Kiba an idiot if you know what happened to him?!"

"Because that's exactly what he is." I stated once more. "He is an idiot for being angry with a sword. Excalibur did not torture him, it didn't not experiment on him, and it certainly did not kill his friends. No, it was that fat fuck standing right over there." I pointed to Valper. "But instead of helping him realize that fact you just let him wallow in anger and misery. Just like you did with Gasper and Akeno."

I looked at Akeno and she flinched from my gaze, but I did not care. She needs a reality check. Just like her king. And I am not afraid to give it.

"I just wanted to protect him." Rias quietly told him.

"Protecting is fine. But what you did is not that. Instead you smothered him and just helped him runaway from facing his trauma. That's why he's always walking around with that disgusting fake smile on his face. Rias face it, you have failed as king." I told her. "If you had actually helped your peerage then even Akeno could have destroyed Riser all by himself. But you didn't and almost had to marry him. Get over yourself. You got lucky this time, but it may not happen again in the future."

"I...I..." Rias sputtered as tears began pooling in her eyes.

Meanwhile Akeno still continued to glare at me, but I didn't give her any response except for a blank expression.

Ignoring her I turned my attention back to Valper. "Call him out." I commanded.

"Sorry, who are you ta-Agh!" Valper screamed as I conjured an ice shard and used it to sever his right arm.

"Don't fuck with me." I told him. "Call him out." I said once more. "No, better yet I will do it myself." I looked up into the sky. "Hey Kokabiel, get your ass out here right now!" I shouted.

A few seconds after I did a teleportation circle appeared in the air, and then out of it came a thrown with the man of the hour himself sitting on it. He is looking down at us with an arrogant expression on his face.

What utter nonsense.

He is the mongrel here. He needs to learn his place.

On another note his energy levels tell me he is high tier Ultimate-class, right on the border of a low Satan-class being. Not a shock since he is a cadre of the Grigori.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" He asked me. "I heard there were new arrivals in Kuoh Town, but I didn't think they would be so strong. Tell me boy, who are you?" He asked me.

"Kufa Vampir." I stated.

"Oh. So you are the son of that little pink-haired loli slut that opened her legs for a human?" He mused.

"Hey." I called to him in a cold voice. "Keep your filthy mouth shut, and make sure nothing about my mother ever comes out of it again, or else you will experience a fate worse than the generous death I am going to give you." I explained to him, flaring my power.

Kokkabiel just put a wider grin on his face. "Interesting, very interesting. This will be more fun than I thought." He said. "By blood hasn't boiled like this since the Great War. This battle will be glorious." He mused. He then looked at Rias and Sona. "Greetings younger sisters of the satans. My name is Kokabiel of the Grigori, and I have come to destroy this town. Try and stop me if you can. The battle will begin in one hour at your so-called school. Meet me there if you dare."

Kokabiel teleported away. He also took Valper with them.

The barrier then disappeared right after he was gone.

"Who, who the hell was that?" Issei asked.

"Kokabiel. A race-hating fallen angel and warmonger." I told him. "He is working with Valper and is the one who stole the Excalibur shards. He has come here to restart the Great War. By using the shards and his army he plans to kill Rias and Sona along with you guys and everyone else in this town. But that's not going to happen. Since I am going to stop him." I said.

"What? Vampir-san, just what are you on about?" Sona asked.

"Truth time." I said. "As you know my faction has ties to the fallen angels. We are in an alliance with them. Actually I know Azazel personally and have done a few jobs for him over the years. A few weeks ago we discussed Kokabiel and determined his plan. But I told him I would handle this since I am staying in this town and that is exactly what I am going to do. For the last few weeks I have been making preparations for exactly this moment." I revealed.

"What?!" Rias shouted in anger. "Why didn't you tell us, the overseers of this town?!"

"If I did your siblings would have called you back to the underworld and Kokabiel would have moved on, escaping to do something even worse. But this way we have him trapped, and I can kill him without worry." I explained.

"That still gave you no right to-"

"-Quiet Rias!" Sona shouted, silencing the red head. "While I do not like what Vampir-san has done, his strategy was the right call."

"Thank you Sona." I said.

"That said, I am not forgiving you." Sona told me.

"I don't expect you to." I said. "But I do expect you to listen to the words coming out of my mouth right now. Head back to the underworld immediately. Take all your peerage member with you and do not come back until the battle is over." I instructed.

"No." Rias said. "We are the overseers of this town and as such we will protect it and it citizens."

"Shut your mouth." I commanded Rias, releasing my power at her, causing her to fall to her knees. "You are nothing to Kokabiel. He is someone who fought and survived in the Great War. He also has an army of 2,000 fallen angels at his side along with stolen Excalibur fragments from the church. You will be slaughtered like cattle, giving him exactly what he wants. Now do as I say and leave. Since he is already here he won't run. He's much too arrogant for that. So get moving, or do I have to repeat myself?

I flared my power even more making every member of Rias and Sona's peerage fall to their knees.

"I made this plan with full confidence that I can protect this town." I explained. "So either trust me or I will send you all back to the underworld by force. What is it going to be?"

Rias nodded her head. The same with Sona.

"Good." I said. I then stopped flaring my power. "Get a move on." I told them.

They then all started to take their leave.

Step one has been complete.

Time for phase two.

It didn't take us long to arrive at Kuoh Academy.

As soon as we did Rias and Sona's group jetted off to the underworld using a teleportation matrix in the occult clubhouse.

Right after they left everyone geared up for the fight.

Standing in the middle of the track field on the school grounds I saw a giant teleportation circle appear, and in the next instant the reinforcements my mother promised me stood before me.

Basteya, Veronica, and Crowley, along with 30 warriors each on their command.

"Good to see you all again, but I wish it was under better circumstances." I said to them.

"Think nothing of it." Crowley said.

"Yes, young lord Kufa. As soon as lady Krul told us the particulars of this mission none us thought to turn it down." Basteya spoke.

'You have become a fine young man my student." Veronica mused.

I smiled at that. "Thank you." I said. "Now then, spread out your men around town. Make sure all civilians are protected." I ordered.

"Yes!" All three of them shouted. They then began instructing their men and they started spreading out.

A few moments after this happened another teleportation circle appeared, and Shoei arrived on the scene, his two lovers standing at his side. He also has a small contingent of yokai behind him.

I walked over to him. "Shoei, glad you could make it." I told him.

"I said I would and here I am." He told me.

"Thanks." I said. "Please have your men spread out and get ready for battle." I asked him

He nodded. He then turned to his followers and instructed them.

While this happened, Dominque and the others arrived from the mansion.

I walked up to her as soon as they did. "Is the mansion secure?"

Dominque nodded. "It is locked down. Xenovia, and Irina are safely secure inside and there is no way anyone is getting in or out."

"Thank you." I told her.

Once I did I summoned Hyorinmaru in its sheathe and went to stand in front of everyone. "Attention!" I called out to them and everyone turned to look at me. "You all know why we're here, but if not I will go over it again. Kokabiel, a known warmongerer split off from the Grigori and is here, getting ready to attack this town and kill all its residence with his army of 2,000 followers. He is also the one behind the theft of the Excalibur's from the church. He aim is to plunge the supernautral world back into the era of the Great War, but that is why we are all here. We are not going to let that happen no matter what. Today, Kokabiel falls!"

"Yeah!!!" Everyone shouted.

I nodded at them.

I then took my position with the rest and the final few minutes passed by. Once they did a massive teleportation circle appeared in the sky over Kuoh Academy.

Kokabiel then appeared once again, sitting on his thrown. But this time his followers were with him. Four eight-winged fallen each leading a group of 500. There are also about 30 Cerberus in the mix as well.

Seeing that finally hit me that this is a war. My first real war.

I took that in and then centered myself. I am ready. My first war will end in my victory.

Kokabiel looked at me. "So the devil's ran, typical." He spat. "But it's not all bad. At least I get to have some fun tearing you apart." He said, looking at me. "I wonder how that loli will react when I send her the head of her precious son on a silver platter? WIll she get angry and try to kill me?"

"Keep dreaming." I told him.

I then motioned for Morgan to put up the barrier.

Which she did in an instant.

In less than a second we were all teleported in a different dimensional space.

Once we were I pointed my sword at Kokaibel "Charge!" I shouted.

Signaling the beginning of the war.
