1 A creature of the Night

Hello there.

You don't know me and I certainly don't know you.

But either way I want you to here my story. Because honestly it's too unbelievable for me to not tell anyone.

However before we start on the main event let's start with some previews.

Namely the fact I died.

Yes, you heard me right I died.

But it wasn't in some cliché fashion found in this isekai novels or reincarnation fanfictions.

I wasn't run over by the all mighty and obviously worshipped truck-kun.

I wasn't stabbed to death by my jealous lover after I cheated on her with her best friend.

I didn't slip on some stairs and hit my head. Nor did I die in bed after coming home from a long day of overwork as a salary man in a hellish company.

No my death is pretty abornmal.

You see I died at the hands of bats.

I'm not kidding.

My name....well I don't really remember my name. Or that much personal informaiton really. All I do remember is that I am male, in my twenties, and that I had recently graduated from college with a degree in zoology.

I've always loved animals since I was small and I wanted to make them my passion in life.

But back to the point.

I had recently graduated and found a job surveying caves which were the nesting grounds for several bat clusters.

I was setting up night-vision cameras in one of these caves, when all of a sudden I felt something land on my shoulder.

I turned to look at it and saw it was a bat.

I smiled at it, and then tried to lightly shoo it off my shoulder.

That's when the little shit bit my finger, causing me to curse like a sailor. In my anger I threw the bat on the ground and started stomping on it. Then before I realized what had happened, it was dead.

Which was bad news for me.

Because when I got my bearings back I realized all of its friends and family were looking at me, murder in their eyes.

Needless to say I had no chance of escape.

The bats swarmed me, and I screamed at the top of my lungs as they sucked me dry of blood and ripped the flesh from my bones.

Before I knew it it was over.

Then I found myself in my current situation.

Floating in an endless void of black with nothing else around.

Which is not fun let me tell you.

I have no clue how much time passed, but I knew a lot did.

And no matter how much I cried, yelled, and shouted I never got an answer. All I heard was the sound of my phone voice.

"So this is eternity huh?" I mused to myself.

It sucks ass.

As I contemplated spending the rest of forever in this void hell a light suddenly appeared, and then a figure shortly after that.

It was a woman dressed in a white dress. She has long blonde hair, blue eyes, and E-cup breasts that her dress isn't doing anything to hide.

She is sitting in a chair, which is disappointing.

I want to get a look at her ass.

I am an ass man after all.

"Sorry, but I won't be standing up." The woman spoke.

I then looked at her. "You can read my mind can't you?"

"Yes." She answered.

It was then I got a massive blush on my face.

If I had a face that is. Ever since I arrived in this void space I've just been a conscience with nothing else.

Quickly getting over myself I looked at the woman once more. "So, are you god?"

"I am a god." The woman mused.

So there is more than one, cool.

"Yes, there is more than one of us. I am the reincarnation god." The woman told me.

"So does that mean I am going to be reincarnated?" I asked.

The woman nodded. "Yes, you are. I saw your death and it was horribly tragic. That's why I'm going to give you a second chance."

"Thanks for that." I said. I never admitted this to anyone but I always wanted to be reincarnated if given the chance. My life was just so mundane. I'd rather got to a world full of magic, machines, and death than stick with my old life.

Except if that place is Boku No Pico.

Then I would kill myself and take my chances. Because any place is better than that horror show.

"Alright, let's get this show on the road." I said. "Give my choices so I can pick my world."

The woman shook her head. "No, no. I have already chosen the world you will go to."

"What?!" I shouted. "But that's not fair."

"Don't worry, it'll be a world you know. Also I will give you some cheats. But as to what they are, you will have to figure them out for yourself. Good luck." The woman told me.

She then snapped her fingers and I was engulfed in a white light before I could say anything else.

The woman sat on her chair, slightly giggling.

She didn't tell the young man that he would become the very thing that killed him.
