A True Man’s tears

Chapter 6

"Aaaaahhhhhhhh" Ron roared loudly.

Why? Why? Why does it have to be her?

He cried for the first time, never belittle such people who shed tears.

Tears were falling and these crystal like teardrops are the symbol of his heart-wrenching pain.

Ron shouted, "Why? Why did you do this Nia? Why? Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhh".

He saw Nia holding a gun pointed at him. This was the most cruelest thing he ever felt. He felt as if this was an illusion.

The whole world of his crumbled at that moment in his eyes.

" Ron, she is the person you are looking for. She told us about the treasure and about your identity." The boss said as he walked across the room towards Nia.

He smiled and looked at Ron who was now on his knees.

Ron couldn't believe what he heard. The person who betrayed him is the person he loved the most.

This is the same person for whom he risked his life.

Getting betrayed is the worst feeling a person experiences and the feeling becomes even worse when you are betrayed by the person whom you love the most.

Plop ... plop ..... plop

The floor was covered with his blood. Blood drops were falling on the floor.

Ron's eyes were red. His vision started blurring due to a large loss of blood but he shook his head to have clarity.

None present in the room saw the changes happening to the pearl hanging on Ron's neck when blood fell on it.

The colour of the black phoenix on the pearl was changing to blood red as if the pearl was absorbing the blood.

" I am sorry, Ron but I did this for money. Do you know how much this treasure is worth? After you complete this mission and hand over this treasure to your client, you are paid less and that is not enough for us but selling to this boss gives me a large share."

" It's a lot of money and I am going to be a billionaire. I can finally enjoy an extravagant and comfortable life " Nia stood in front of Ron and bit her red lips.

Ron never thought she would be avaricious. He thought whether money is more important than love after watching Nia betray him.

"Is money more important to you than true love?" He couldn't stop himself from asking her what he felt.

" Can love give you luxurious life throughout your life? Maybe or maybe not but I don't want to miss this opportunity and I feel love can blossom again with another person. It is not always fixed"

"Don't widows or divorced remarry? Don't people love someone else again after a breakup? So loving some other person doesn't matter. I am selfish and I only think about myself" Nia replied looking into his eyes devoid of any emotions.

" People have the right to love again but it doesn't mean that they do not respect love. You really disgust me Nia. I feel more disgusting about myself when I think that I was in love with a person like you" Ron closed his eyes.

" Ron, I think it is time for you to go to sleep eternally because you destroyed the god given opportunity to become rich. Let me show kindness to you for the last time by letting you die quicker instead of staying and suffering." Nia said.

Neither the boss nor Nia who stood close to Ron saw the small movements made by him. His hands moved close to his legs slowly.

" Yes, it is time to end this. Nia, I hope you really respect true love in your next life" Ron replied while his hands moved, took hold of hidden knives hidden inside his shoes and threw them towards Nia and boss.

Everything happened so fast that both of them couldn't even react. The hidden knives moved instantly and he thrusts them into their throats.

They were gasping for breath. Ron saw fear in their eyes.

He started smiling and spoke, "Now, let's all go to hell together".

Nia wanted to say something but no words came out of her mouth instead there was blood flowing out.

Thud .... Thud.....

Both the bodies fell on the floor. They were twitching and struggling for a short moment and then it was complete silence and stillness.

" It is all over and now I can rest in peace. I hope that I am reborn as a good and handsome gentleman like myself and not a disgusting woman like her and I also don't want to feel different gender body shape."

" Haahhaaahaa . What am I thinking" Ron murmured as he took his last breath.

Hooosshshsssss.....

The wind howls. Suddenly, the pearl starts to shine.

It was so dazzling, blinding and bright that the whole room was illuminated and radiant.

Dark Space, completely enclosed in darkness, it was devoid of light and sound.

It was so dark that not even a speck of light could be seen.

Boooooom ...

There was a sudden blast in the dark space which was so powerful that the whole space shook.

Two sources of light appeared in the space among which one source was about a hundred thousand times larger than the second source.

The small source of light appears to have a human shape. It was the soul of Ron Boris.

Slowly, Ron's soul opens his eyes. He looks around and could only see a powerful large source of light in front of him.

He tries to look at the source and could see a vague image of a big bird. It was alive and he could see it moving.

Suddenly, the brightness retracted. It was a huge black bird that was looking at Ron.

He started shivering. The black bird's gaze on him made him feel that he could be destroyed with just a thought from the huge bird.

His eyes sharpened because he felt that the bird appears to look the same as that of the bird design on the pearl.

" I am the Almighty Devouring Phoenix. Human, you don't have to be afraid of me. I am dead and this is just soul of mine."

"Thank you, you have awakened me from deep slumber lasting a hundred thousand years. Your blood activated the pearl and your death awakened me" the phoenix looked at Ron who was confused.

Ron was shocked upon hearing this whereas his soul body was shivering.

"Whereeee amm I...."

Ron tried to control his emotions.

He asked while quivering" Where am I? I remember that I died but then how am I standing in front of you?"

"This is your soul and you are in the space inside the phoenix pearl. I brought your soul into the pearl space so that we could help each other".

"I sealed myself in the pearl which was made by the source of my true body so as to escape the hunt organized by my enemy" Phoenix replied.

Ron was shocked beyond belief.

" I am happy that I could awaken you but I am already dead. So I am of no use to you, I can't help you" Ron sighs.

" No, you are wrong. I can help you reincarnate with memories into a world ruled by cultivation strength and you can help me and return the favour by creating a new powerful body for me to possess." replied phoenix.

"How can I create a body? I am not a god" asked Ron.

"You should know that everyone can cultivate to reach godhood. Even though creating body is simple for people with superior cultivation, but I can only possess a newly created godly body which can only be created by a person of godhood strength which is way above superior strength."

"So I will guide you to reach godhood and become a powerful cultivator of the Celestial World" Phoenix's size was getting reduced as it approached Ron.

When the phoenix reached in front of Ron, it turned into an old man.

Ron was stunned seeing a transparent elder, an old man standing near him and smiling.

The old man had a calm and composed face full of white hairs on his head. His eyes were sparkling like stars.

" Hehe, Don't look down on my human form. Kid, you can call me Grandpa Phoenix. Now, I shall begin to send your soul to the strength based Higher World called Celestial plane. Are you ready?" Phoenix lightly said.

" Thank you grandpa phoenix. Yes, I am ready." Ron nodded with happiness in his eyes.

A powerful energy surged from the phoenix and the pearl space started to crack. Ron felt a powerful suction from a swirling black hole that appeared beside him.

In the blink of an eye, he was pulled into it.

He felt as if he was travelling at high speed. Everything around him moved so fast that he couldn't see it.

All of a sudden, he felt everything shaking and heard grandpa phoenix screaming loudly.

"Ahhhhhhh"

"No, how could this happen? Why do you have such a powerful seal in your soul? It was even placed by someone who was even more powerful than me during my peak days."

"Have I become too weak? This is not possible. It must be the seal affecting me" phoenix shouted.

"What happened grandpa?"Ron asked when he saw phoenix worried.

"Kiddo, there is a powerful seal on your soul which injured me. I don't have enough powerful strength to send your soul to the Celestial plane and can only send to one of the lower martial worlds."

" Because of the injuries caused by the seal in your soul and low strength, I cannot send your soul into a developing foetus since it is affecting the reincarnation cycle."

"Now there is only one way and that is to send your soul to a dead body and revive" phoenix furrowed his brows.

" I am going to revive in a dead body. Why am I so unlucky. ...." Ron's mouth twitched.

Phoenix waved his hand and created a shining hole and pushed Ron's soul into it.

Phoenix spoke, "Your new journey begins, young man. All the best".

Ron instantly felt tearing pain all over his body and everything around him became completely blank.
