5 Tavern

After enjoying the sky. He decides to go back to the main village of the Gu Clan. There is nothing left. He looted the place already, and the entire house was destroyed.

Using the knowledge of Chi Yao he swiftly arrives at the main village. With his own speed of the third rank he can travel faster than any others.

The mountain Chi Yao lives in, Heavens of three realms is filled with an abundant amount of earth and heaven qi. Although it may not help the mortals living there, After one ascends his battle prowess would be none others.

The Mountain range is divided into three levels. The bottom layer, which hosts the most earth qi. It is a forest biome ruled by 3 great clans. Yue Clan, Wen Clan, and Gu Clan.

The second layer, is the filled with a balance mixture of both heaven and earth qi. It is a perfect place for a Gu Master to ascend. Within the Second layer, contains a super sized clan with 3 gu immortals.

It has a large city built in with roads spread out from the bottom layers. The reason being is second layer has the best defense in the entire mountain. It helps them guard the place from any other's and spreads their influence over the other 3 clans.

The 3 Clans did not mind the roads they built, due to the fact that helps bring wealth. Once trade caravans finally the another mountains, they would be tired and need to buy some food.

The Third layer is the top layer. It contains the most heaven qi. No one really know how to get there. Due to the Qi of heaven getting in the way, and making Gu Masters fall to their deaths. No one knows what is inside that place, except the Gu Immortals of the Sang Clan.

The Chi family originates from the Gu Clan. Although their family is a prestigious family, often containing Rank 3 experts, they could never compete with the Clan Leader, and his son.

Chi Yao chose the easy way out, never thinking back. The guy he was competing with has an A grade aptitude. Plus his father is the family head of the Clan! A

Large sized clan! A Rank 5 Overlord!

Although he could reach rank 4, The elder level character in the large sized clan. he would rather not deal with the papers, train his family and fight to the death for the glory of his family. Very dumb move.

Within no time, Chi Yao arrives at the main village of the Gu Clan. A lavish place with many Gu masters walking around and doing business. The Headquarters of a large sized clan.

Still, he sneaks inside very easily. The former Chi Yao, did not go to the guards even after 3 years. Even when his family was in financial ruin. he did not expose himself.

He hid within the shadows, going to shop vendors when he needed to. Selling low ranking beast corpses to the people, for some primeval essence stones.

Although he was caught a few times, his knowledge improved over time. He improved his skills to perfection and made a myriad of mazes inside his brain.

Knowing the way to the clan helped the Gu Sneak into the place. He did it without no one noticing. The 10 years worth of routes helped him not get noticed.

"Hehe, although I have barely next to no stealth abilities, his memories really helped me a lot. I can try to mimicking his moves improved my stealth without needing to spend needless amount of time gathering experience."

Although the Memories of Chi Yao were supressed. His skills still remains, Essentially giving Devour Gu memories and experience he can analyze. Comprehending them way faster than just learning from mistakes.

Learning from a master right away, and experiencing it at the same time. Compare that to Learning from a master without experiencing the truth Or learning from your mistakes that you have done.

It made him learn way quicker! Not only that but with his Analysis Gu he can be taught by the system itself!

It is night-time now, He had waited untill dawn to sneak in. Although he was learning at an astounding speed, the risk of him being caught is well over 60%. Doing it at night, increased his chances by 20%.

He searched for a place to stay... An in, specially for Gu Masters. The Main village is a place where nearly all the Gu Masters Reside. In a typical Clan they would send out Rank 2 Gu Masters to guard a village outside of the Main One. Their Safety is more important than them. Mortals comes in second, while Gu Masters Comes in first. The Unspoken rule within the all realms.

"Jin's Inn" reads the sigh of the taverns frames. It's a well built in Tavern in a  better than average quality look.

"It should do for now." He thought as he walks inside.

The place is filled with many people drinking fine wine and quality food. It seems that business is blooming. A young girl serving wine, wears a green bronze belt.

A belt that symbolizes one's own rank. Of course, not many have to wear it, but it is formal to do so. When one is not at work, it is to brag about his prowess.

A Green Bronze Belt Symbolizes Rank 1, meaning that one is a disciple of the clan. For those stuck within the realm, they are regarded as a thorn to society and treated like trash.

A Red Steel Belt Symbolizes Rank 2, They are most common among the clan. Only being respected by the younger generations of the clan.

After that is a White Silver Belt. It symbolizes Rank 3, The stage of an expert. They are very uncommon, and in an ordinary clan, treated with utmost respects.

A Golden Belt means that one is at the fourth rank. At this level they are respected no matter where they live. They are the true experts of this world, able to travel anywhere unhindered.

Finally, Purple Crystal. Not just anyone can wear it, They are at fifth rank. The true masters of this world. Giants amongst men, it speaks for itself in the rank.

Walking in the tavern, Chi Yao immediately hears some gossip. A group of friends talking to each other.

"Hey did you hear? *Hic* Ma Hong Yun of the Northern Plains is gathering an army of Frost Giant Dire Wolves to eat us alive! *Hic* She is out to get us I tell you!" An Old man wearing a Green Belt chugs an entire glass of wine.

"How did you know that? Just a hunch again?!? Why do you always sprout nonsense all the time! Let's talk about something truthful and real for once, Old Joe."  A Young man in the group finally snaps.

"SILENCE! I am a Wisdom Path Supreme Great Grand Master! How dare you make such a claim that my deductions are wrong? You are just a frog within a well. But if it bothers you so much fine! How many times must you question me!"

"Old Joe... You've been stuck at the first level for a long time now... According to my knowledge your over 60 years old already. How could you possibly make such deductions when you are still at the bottom of the food chain? Northern Planes? what sort of place is that? A place without Billions of Mountain!?!" His friend, A Rank 3 veteran laughs at the old fool.

Hearing this, And many more rumors going around. He can tell what kind of place this is. It is a place where people get drunk, Then talk about their daily lives. A place where the drunks can gossip. A place where friends can gather, and have fun.

"I See. This place allows people to get drunk and talk to each other. Letting information spreading easily around these parts. It is also a place where people can sleep here for any unknown reasons that might be."

"Chi Yao's connections gave him knowledge, but after he left he only comes to buy things from the merchants. What a fool! he should have been enjoying his life instead of hiding."Thought Chi Yao. Although he has yet to experience humanity. Happiness is what everybody should obtain? Being peaceful at all times does not make you happy. How can you be alone for such a long period? Without no one to talk to, or arrogantly monologue to?

To a Monk, it might be a great idea. He might gain peace and enlightenment. Even Ordinary people might want to leave for a more peaceful life. But for him, it is a foolish thing to do. He had yet to experience the world. But he had so much to experience.

He walks over to the bartender and asks him "How much for a room? I will be staying here for a while. Also I would like one human food please."

"Human Food? What are you talking about boy? Look over here." He pulls his thumb behind him. It is a wooden sigh above him with the menu of the meals they serve.

Many dishes with prices varying from 1 primeval stones to even 3 primeval stones. It is cheap enough for a practitioner to afford but not enough that an ordinary disciple can pay.

For instance, Ordinary Disciples are awarded  3 to 5 primeval stones every week, as a rank 1 Gu Master. They do chores and stuff while the Experienced Members of the clan take part in missions.

An Rank 2 Ordinary Member of the clan can only make 10 to 15 primeval stones each week. Some members can even make up to 25 primeval stones. Therefore, they can afford to spend time here every week.

It is worth any penny though. The Owner brewed his wine with extra care. The staff cooked their food with passion. It is only slightly more expensive than others too.

Looking at the most expensive food he could find he said to the man once again. "I would like to order a Fish Bone Stew. How much is for a room?"

"A Fish Bone Stew, made from the river salt fish exported from the rivers of Shui Mountain. It will cost you 5 whole primeval stones Young man. A Room only costs a primeval stones for a day." The Owner said as he curled his mustache.

"Are you sure you can afford this boy." Inspecting Chi Yao, The Heavenly Aura flowing through his body made him look younger and more handsome than he previously was.

Not only that, but the boy is wearing mundane clothes fitting for a low ranking person. He was probably a disciple of the sect yet to graduate from the sect. He said it in a form of Are you sure you have enough to feed your Gus and do your daily things? teenager.

"Hehe, I am older than what your guys can see, old man. I have as much money as I can ever possibly need. I will stay here for 31 days and the rest are my dinner costs." Saying so he gives the owner a small bag  of primeval essence stones.

"There is about 101 primeval essence stones inside. It seems I might have misjudged you. I wonder, why are you staying here foolish young master."  The Bartender curls his mustache again.

"Talking to you expended a lot of my time. I will go to sleep now, and you will make my meals in the morning."

Walking into his room without the Bartender and Owner being able to say anything. He hops into his bed. It is a comfy place to sleep way better than that hell hole.

"I will stay here for a while I suppose. What am supposed  to be I doing here? Should I try to abduct and consume the apertures of other's? Should I be messing around as an ordinary person here? How do I kill the Annoying Bartender" He ponders to himself.

Oh what kind of fun will he have? How delicious will the Human food be? Will the Bartender ever shut up?  Whatever it is, He should try to ascend to the Immortal Realm. Once that happens, he can do whatever he wants without any consequences.

"Whatever It may be. I shall seek happiness."
