I'm currently in the land of Lightning searching for both Gyuki, and Matatabi, the eight tails, and two tails respectively. I've been searching for both of them for about two months now, and I've managed to locate them, at least their last known location. Matatabi was last sighted wreaking havoc right at the edge of the Land of Lightning, closer to the current location of Turtle Island. While Gyuki was at some unnamed mountain range in the middle of the Land of Lightning.

I headed towards Matatabi first since she was closer. Five hours later, I was hovering in the sky right above the napping Matatabi. The Nibi could not sense me above her since I had my chakra signature suppressed, only an Uchiha or a Hyuga would be able to sense me, that's if they have their eyes activated and are looking directly at me. 'Thank goodness, I'm an Otsutsuki. If I wasn't, hiding from the tailed beasts would have been a huge hassle.'

I appeared on the ground, right in from of Matatabi, I then sent my chakra to the ground creating wood that would restrain the Nibi, barely giving her a chance to react. By the time she raised her head, the suppressive effect of wood release was already active.

'Devour'

I did the same with Gyuki, although he was more of a nuisance in comparison to Matatabi. I now have three of the nine tailed beasts chakra, I need to hurry up and get Indra's chakra from Madara before I go for the other tailed beasts. I need the Rinnegan before I can truly use their combined chakra for my intended purpose. I'd return their chakra to where it originated from, however incomplete it might become.

While Indra was busy gallivanting in the Land of Lightning, his current enemies were plotting his demise. And he had a lot of them, even more enemies than he knows about.

In a dimension located somewhere in the universe, inside a truly grand castle made of ice. A pale humanoid being with two curved horns growing out of his head was kneeling right in front of a throne with another being completely shroud in darkness seating on it.

"Have you found the location of the one Aizen gave his devour shard?"

The pale horned being replied, not daring to raise his head. "No, we haven't."

"You can leave," the being on the throne said, dismissing the kneeling one.

The kneeling being hesitated seemingly with something still left to report but scared to do so. "My lord, a new Otsutsuki has been born, we sensed the signature of an Otsutsuki unknown to us from the world Kaguya is in charge of."

"Kaguya can handle an Otsutsuki unknown to our clan, leave it for her to deal with. I made you the king of our clan after I became the Otsutsuki God, do not disturb me unless you've found the one with the Devour shard."

"I have already sent more Otsutsuki to investigate, I'd call them back immediately."

"No, leave them be, they can check on the progress of the harvest on that world. Kaguya hasn't reported back in a while now."

Indra didn't bother hiding his location from anyone or even acting stealthy for that matter, he spent about two months searching for the tailed beasts in the Land of Lightning, and anyone with half a brain would realise what he was after. And as anyone would expect, about halfway into his search the Uchiha and Senju clan came to know about his intention and current location. Hashirama, Madara, and their brothers headed towards the Land of Lightning immediately with a few of their clan shinobi that were skilled at tracking.

Indra made it easier for them to track him too, it was like he wanted people to find him. And now after his minor battle with the Hachibi, the trackers have finally pinpointed his exact location.

[Third POV]

"Hashirama, we aren't here to play with children."

"Look at them Madara, can't you see the smile on their faces?! This is what we dreamed of when we skipped rocks together," Hashirama replied with a smile on his face. "Haha, stop pretending Madara, I know you have a kinder heart than you always show. Come join us, we can both get dirty playing with them," Hashirama said with a wide smile on his face. He then created small wooden figurines before joining the little children in their silly game.

Madara smiled, shook his head, then walked away, sighing at the antics of his oldest friend.

*a Few Moments Later*

It was currently night in the Land of Lightning, Madara was out training with Izuna. They've been training together for the past 6 hours and now they were both engaged in an intense spar without any of them going easy on the other.

Madara blocked the sword of Izuna with his Kama, then using his gunbai as a mace he slammed it into the side of Izuna sending him tumbling to the ground in pain. Izuna quickly rolled out of the way, a dark blue sword made out of chakra slammed on the spot he previously was.

Izuna joined his hands together, his eyes changing to the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan pattern. 'Susanoo'

"That's enough now, Izuna," Madara said, putting an end to the thrilling fight.

They both walked a few metres, into the wooden house created by Hashirama's wood release. Upon getting into the house, Hashirama and Tobirama were standing over a table with a map and a city plan spread out on it.

"What are you both doing?" Madara asked.

They both turned to upon hearing the voice of Madara, Tobirama then replied explaining what they were discussing, "We're finalising the plans of the village."

They both walked to the table joining the occupants already there, "Senju Park?! really?!" Izuna snickered.

"Shut up!!" Tobirama replied angrily, still pissed over the fact that Izuna is currently stronger than him by a lot too. Coupled with the strength of Madara, made him worried and even wary. The strength of Izuna and Madara combined dwarfed his and Hashirama's strength, further increasing his unnecessary distrust towards the Uchiha clan.

Hashirama and Madara just sighed at the antics of their brothers, this isn't the first time they threw jabs at each other's clan and they knew it won't be the last time either.

"Onto the reason why we're here," Hashirama forcefully said, putting a stop to the war of words that's about to erupt between Izuna and his brother. "Based on the information we've gathered, we can confirm Indra is after the tailed beasts. He has gained the chakra of the Nibi already, and if the information from the Land of Waterfalls is true then he has the chakra of the Nanabi too. I don't want to imagine how powerful he'd become if we let him continue amassing the power of the tailed beasts."

Hashirama then pointed at a spot on the map before he continued speaking, "This is the current location of the Hachibi, I believe that's where he's currently headed. So we'd meet him here, and put an end to his threat."

"What would you do if he refuses to tell you the location of Uzumaki Mito," Tobirama asked his older brother with a solemn look on his face.

Hashirama didn't reply, a cross yet tumultuous look appeared on his face. "We'd be leaving in three hours, get some rest," Hashirama said, walking into one of the rooms in the house.

"Anija, why don't we invite him to join our village? we can keep an eye on him that way, if he proves to be too much of a threat, even Hatake Indra would not be a match for the entire might of the Uchiha and Senju clan. Besides his threat so far has been theories on our part, his strength can be put to use in our village.

He is human like us, so no matter what he'd die and then his descendants would be completely loyal to the village. Anija, you're bent on killing him because of Mito, I'd always support you but if he has the power of three of the bijuu, we all might die against him, and then everything we've achieved would all be for naught. Think about it, Anija."

"Tobirama, that boy is not human. Seven years ago I fought a child that grew horns out of his head and I made the mistake of sparing his life, this time I'd ensure I don't even if it cost me my own life. His death would ensure the safety of our world," Hashirama said, his demeanour becoming resolute, fully encompassing the personality of an aged killer.

"Hashirama is right, Hatake Indra must die for the safety of our planet." Madara echoed him.

"What do y...." Izuna and Tobirama tried to ask, but they could not finish their question before Madara and Hashirama appeared behind them knocking them out.

Five shinobi walked into the house, "Take them back to the Land of Fire," they all nodded picking up the unconscious and left heading back to their village.

Madara turned towards a shadow in the room, "Are you sure about this?" he asked.

A fairly tall man in a black hooded cloak stepped out of the shadow. "Senju Hashirama, you've seen the boy for yourself. And I've shown you both the history of your world, also confirming the tablet the Uchiha clan possesses. I've been watching the boy since he awakened to be one of them," The man slowly said in a distinctively regal tone.

A throne appeared behind the man, he slowly sat down crossing his legs before a glass of wine appeared right in his hand. "A thousand years ago, the progenitor of both your clans came to this planet to absorb it of life, I fought her and lost. But her actions were thwarted by her two sons, I've shown you the clans her children went on to create, you both know of your origins, your connections to the boy. I wouldn't have intervened but the boy is gathering those chakra beasts to finish what she started and if he isn't stopped on time every life on your planet would be extinguished."

Madara and Hashirama both had a cold look on their faces, "The juubi would never be reborn, we'd put down the threat of Otsutsuki Indra." They both said, with so much conviction lacing their tone.

The man smiled but no one was able to see it, 'Your body would be mine Indra, even if I have to work with these inferior creatures to get it.'

[A/N - Before anyone says given would not do this, he can just face off against Indra himself. It's like 100 years before the current Boruto timeline, Jigen is nowhere as strong as he was. There's no context on his condition at this point in time so deal with it. Anyways, I had to scrap the chapter I wrote earlier because I'd have needed a long ass time skip to make it fit. I had no plans of officially introducing Jigen so soon, there might be some plot holes due to that. It was something I literally thought of like 10 minutes ago.]
