Synopsis of Prologue (Chapters 1-15):

The story begins with Galahad Mystroff, a young and mischievous adult asleep on a hill, but is quickly awoken by a short female friend named Trista. She berates him for sleeping right before meeting everyone at the Gate. The Gate is an entrance to a dungeon filled with a variety of deadly creatures that are known as Demons. It is a place where he and his friends earn credits by slaying demons in the dungeon that is below their hometown of Teramore.

[ A/N: The building is shaped like a spire and called a "Gate." The dungeon is connected to the Gate because it sits on top of an opening to prevent monsters from exiting. For anyone who is confused. ]

The team is comprised of a few different types of classes. Rosetta and Himself as the magician classes, she specializes in fire attack spells, while he can boost some of the teams active stats (Defense, Speed, and Health). The rest of the team are battle class fighters; Heath and Mycroft are the two swordmen class brothers, Victor is a berserker class, and Trista is an assassin class. Together, the six of them are one of many teams that fight the monster below the world of Endora. When they defeat the demons, they gather the loot dropped by the deceased and the mana orbs that were once a monster's essence.

Once they return to the surface after finding a decent sum of mana orbs one day, they are stopped by the immoral imbecile named Casmus. He attempts to recruit the females of the team again and is quickly turned down and knocked down by a gauntlet worn by his sister, Kara due to his rude behavior.

Everyone returns to their own respective homes just as the dungeon resets with a tiny quake beneath his feet. Galahad arrives at his home, a four-story shop and forge run by his mother and father, Derock and Sora Mystroff. While walking into the forge, Galahad gives his creation class father a portion of his mana orbs to use in the forge for special metal crafting.

Once he is upstairs, he finds his mother looking over the shop's finances and laughing at an earlier incident that she created because she was an enchanting magic user that sets very mischievous traps. Shortly after, his brother Brett walks in and dinner begins. News of a dangerous monster in the capital city is shared during the meal, then jests are made at the expense of his brother for not knowing realizing he leveled up that day in the forge.

After dinner, Galahad retired to bed on the fourth floor. When he slept, he had an odd dream about a tree growing quickly in front of him and then combusting into a flaming mess. He awakens with many questions and the idea to ask his former teacher about it.

That morning, Galahad visits the school he and his friends graduated from to ask a Mr. Thorne about his weird dream. When he waited in the hallway, he heard one of the early semester lectures on the certain type of classes a human or dwarf will most likely develop after birth (Creation Class, Battle Class, Magician Class, and Summoner Class). Each class uses a form of energy that radiates from their souls. Realm Energy for summoning, Chi for battling, and Magic for magicians.

A quick talk with his teacher had them determine that his dream was not some kind of evolution or growth to his class, but most likely something different. They would talk about after Thorne looked further into the subject.

After going into the school for his teacher's help, Galahad entered the dangerous forest that surrounded the city of Teramore by himself. The forest was filled with bandits, aggressive creatures, and a mysterious mist that seemed to always move on its own accord.

Galahad's reason for entering the forest was to meet with an old friend of his, Apharine the dryad. He gives her another portion of his mana orbs for her to consume violently, and they discuss the politics of the mystical creatures that reign over the territory. The dryad says once again that she has not seen the elf in the forest that Galahad had once seen many years ago.

Before returning to the city, Galahad learned that Apharine was going to leave the forest to deal with a personal matter he did not pry into. They said farewell shortly before night began to fall.

Galahad met up with his friends at a tavern towards the end of the night to eat and split up the credits they earned from the mana orbs they gathered the day before. It was during that dinner that Rosetta announced to the team that they were signed up for a competition the kingdom's guild was hosting it for publicity. Everyone was opposed until they prized was revealed to be a powerful magic weapon.

While discussing the prize, a drunk at the bar starts spinning a tale on the time his magic armor saved his life from an elf that was confirmed to be irrelevant to Galahad's search. The night ended with young adults stumbling home while being various levels of drunk.

Fast forward two weeks as they quickly pass and the team meets in the gate to find themselves in a large crowd. Everyone there was wanting a chance to fight and win a magic weapon. Shortly after being introduced the rules and meeting with their facilitator Frederick, they proceed down below to fight monsters.

A portion of the day passes and the team fights plenty of monsters and gather many mana orbs, until everything goes quiet. They can't find any monsters and the reset of the dungeon is fast approaching. That's when they find the carnage of a recent battle in a tunnel.

In the middle of walking through it, they realize the shredded bodies around them were not monsters, but actually Casmus and his teammates. The only partial survivor was an archer named Venora, a young female who was also the Count of Teramore's daughter.

Galahad helped the best he could, but his magic didn't have too much affect. Frederick takes Venora up to the surface with the return spell that is attached to their karmic plates, and tells the team to wait a little before teleporting back up to the surface.

While they wait, a scream rang out and black smoke appears in the cave. They follow after it because no one believed they could leave someone else in the dungeon to die. The team chases the source down and find the biggest cavern they've ever seen, inside is a little pedestal and two monsters approaching.

The monsters were releasing black smoke from their bodies and carried a bag with a human inside it. Once they are close enough to the altar, Rosetta took down one monster will all of her firepower and nearly passing out. The three fighters distracted the second monster while Galahad was going to rescue the human trapped in the bag.

Just before separating from Rosetta, she told Galahad that she knew about the situation with his sister to his surprise. He planned to look into more after the dungeon battle ended.

When Galahad arrived at the little altar, he saw a small black orb on the pedestal and he found the Casmus's team facilitator was inside the bag and she was simply too broken to be saved. He watched her become consumed by a cavern and sink into the ground beneath him.

After falling through, he saw a massive crowd of captured adventurers in the ground below. Once he realized the severity of the situation, he grabbed the black orb and ran to tell his friends to escape.

Unfortunately, the orb had other plans and blew up in Galahad's hand; sending him off into a tunnel, unconscious and with no idea what would unfold next.
