Her whole life she was isolated from others. Never accepted. That did influence how she acted. She didn't hate people from isolating her because after all, she was a psychic. Or that's what she thought she was, since that would explain her ability to bend spoons, move objects, create fire in her hand, break windows all without touching them. She wasn't afraid to use her powers, in fact, she finds them convenient and since people around her just think they are magic trick or they just don't understand what happened she uses them without shame. But there is one place that she is too afraid to use them. In front of a temple in an orphanage that she came from.
